They worked very hard with us on making sure we got the correct unit for our needs. They started on time and finished on time. The system is running smoothly.

C and K personel came out and provided a complete walk-through of the space we needed to heat and cool. They measured and came up with a plan to provide both an AC with proper tonnage and a furnace with a high efficiency rating for a tax rebate. The thrid floor is now the most comfortable place in our home. Everything was done ontime and on budget.

Called early morning. Was amazed they said someone would be there later that morning. In the heat wave we were experiencing I expected several days before they could work me in. No one had arrived by noon so I called back and was told the crew scheduled for my job had been delayed on the previous service call but would be there later in the day. They arrived a little after 2pm, suggested how they could repair the problem in a manner cheaper than I had originally requested and did the work promptly and efficiently. At $106/hr for a team of two workers, it sounded a bit expensive at first but with a savings in material costs, it turned out to be much more reasonable. The crew used drop cloths to protect our carpets and other than a few smudges on our banister rail there was no hint they had been working inside. I would recommend C&K and will use them again in the future.

My A/C unit had gone out during a record heat wave. After the company I had been using said they were too busy to help me, I called these guys. The serviceman was professional, knowledgable, and efficient. He replaced a relay on the outdoor unit and a fuse on the control board inside. Once the system was working, he cleaned my outdoor unit, checked pressure, and replaced the plastic caps on my valves with metal ones with rubber seals at no additional charge. Through the whole process, he described in detail what he was checking and why. He also said that the transformer that my previous company had replaced for me was slightly underpowered and running hot, but that my system was otherwise in good shape. I was pleased that things were handled so well.

We are renting our house, and the rental service is *very* slow to service the A/C, so we decided to do it ourselves and eat the cost. We had two units checked and a freon charge to both and minor repair to one. The technician (Chris) was prompt and very professional. The price was reasonable and the units have worked much better this summer, despite the Memphis heat wave. I would highly recommend the company!

Fantastic -- came right out to provide estimate and performed the service earlier than expected. Price was a bit high compared to other providers.

He wasn't all about selling me a new unit that day but reinforced what another repair guy had said 2 years ago...."it might get you thru the summer, it might not. Call me when you decide and I'll give come out again and we can talk about what you need." I liked that...no "the sky is falling" and no "if it were my house" scenarios. I will call him before I have any other work done.

Unfortunately, I did not have flood insurance, so the cost was completely out of pocket for me. They explained several options for new furnaces, and didn't pressure me on any of the more expensive ones. I was so pleased at the timeliness of the service- from the initial visit for the estimate to the actual completion of the work. The estimate was done on May 3, and I explained that I needed the work to be done ASAP, as I was scheduled for surgery on May 6. They were able to accomodate my special circumstance, and installed the furnace the very next day! This was such a relief to me, as I was also dealing with trying to replace my water heater, clean up my basement, etc. all in a very short period of time. The installers were very polite and professional, and even had a heavy duty fan going in the basement the entire time to help dry the floor. The total price was exactly what had been quoted to me the day before, no surprises. Overall, a very positive experience during an otherwise extremely stressful time!

I was able to schedule the appointment within a couple of days of my call. The technician arrived a little outside of the appointment time which was set between 12 and 4, but not too bad or inconvenient. The original appointment was set only for the A/C service, and I inquired about installing a thermostat while he was here. He had the part on his truck, and was able to do it on the spot. Additionally, I have had trouble finding replacement filters and a new grate for my air return, because it is an odd size. He took the measurements and told me there was a company in town where he thought he could get them (or have them custom made). He called me the next business day and said that they could get both, and we set a time for him to come back out and install. He brought 12 filters - so I'm well-stocked - and installed everything for me. All the work done was completed quickly, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely call on this company again, and would recommend them to my friends.

I called and made an appointment. They were able to accomodate the day and time. The technician was a bit late. The technician performed a thorogh inspection and service. He located 2 leaks in my AC coils. They will need replacing. The technician provided serveral options available to me from continuing recharge, intermediate coil replacement (due to changing freon regulations) and full replacement with available financing.

I called in the AM and had someone out before lunch. The service tech was prompt and professional. He gave me an honest consultation on what the problem is with my condenser, and also got me up and running again. The quote he gave me for the condenser was fair, and I will probably take them up on the replacement.

Service men arrived as schedule, returned to their shop to retrieve an extra-long ladder to access the high-pitched roof and completed the repair promptly and efficiently. They told us that they were installing a pipe cap other than that they usually used in that the latter was not available on the date in question, and that a leak might result. When the leak indeed occurred (it was quite small and caused no damage) they responded quickly and replaced the offending cap at no cost to us. When our units require service, I plan on putting them on service contracts with this company and -- all other factors near equal -- will have them replace our two heating/air conditioning units (which already have gone beyond their useful lives) as replacements are required.

The crew arrived on time, did job quicker than anticipated. Cleaned up after themselves. When I found a small problem, came out immediately to fix.

Our upstairs gas furnace wouldn't light this season. Turned out to be a wire out of place. Call me paranoid, but I strongly suspect another HVAC related service provider who had been in my attic may have had something to do with it. Nobody else has been up there and I know I didn't monkey with it. C & K methodically went through everything. Checking a lot of the things I already had. Then the Eureka moment. Big relief. They also spent extra time answering some unrelated questions I had about the system. I was very pleased with this company.

I am very pleased with several things about his company - 1) very professional as well as being very personable, 2) CLEARLY stated all work that would or may need to be done, 3) arrived on time and completed work in the estimated time frame, 4) discussed with me throughly the steps that were going to be performed and 4) the men that performed the actual work were very professional, treated my home as if it were their own and had a great deal of patience with a 5 year-old and 3 year-old (my grandbabies) who were VERY curious with their work! Really can't say enough good things about this company and will definately use them again in the future.

Great experience. I assumed my furnace was just going to get a filter change and some minor cleaning, but I got WAY more. They spent over an hour adjusting my dampers and re-taping ducts in my attic. The furnace is pretty old (30+ years), but they had no problem cleaning it thuroughly, changing the filter, and even instailling a mounting piece for the filter to make it easier for me to change it myself. Had no problem using the coupon from Angie's List, which took $25 off the total cost.

We had 5 different bids that ranged from 11,000 to 15,000 and we wanted the work done on the week I had scheduled off work. Start to finish it went well. The rain held off the day of install, so the outside compressor and roof vent could be installed. Only one problem, and they came out the same day and repaired was the downstairs furnace fan blade (squirrel cage) was off-center, so it was vibrating the floor around the furnace at the high speed fan, but not at the low speed. Good to work with. Overall A.

My wife called Monday morning and made an appointment for 8:00 the next morning. At 7:30 am, someone from the company called to say the technician was on his way. He arrived at my house 15 minutes later. As soon as he turned the unit on, he diagnosed the problem. Since it was still not 8:00, he went out back and cleaned the air conditioning compressor while he was waiting for the parts supplier to open. At 8:00 he ordered the part and left to pick it up. About an hour later he returned with the part, installed it, checked the freon levels in the air conditioner, and was done by 9:30. The technician said he's been with the company for 22 years. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. Couldn't ask for a better repair experience.

I'm so glad I found C and K from Angie's List. I was so tired of getting other companies that tried to sell me mostly unneeded parts when I just wanted them serviced. These guys were extremely prompt, and just did the job they were hired to do, in a very professional way. Thanks, C and K!!

It went very well and all was corrected. The man who did the service was very efficient and quickly found the problems and explained them to me. He was very polite and the work took 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours and our units are now much quieter.

The office called to confirm the appointment on the morning that they did the work. The repairman also called before he arrived. He was running a little late, but called to let me know. He seemed knowledgeable and was able to let me know what the problem was in a short amount of time. He fixed what he could and made arrangements to come back when the part that we needed arrived. He made sure that we would have enough freon to keep the house cool until he returned.

The service people from C & K were very nice. They did a great job installing the new unit and I haven't had any problems with it. They were honest and dependable and I would certainly recommend them to others as such.
