The service was great, I had no problems with them, and they also called to let me know who was comming into my house and what time he will be there. Great customer service.

The condenser would not come on, this happened about 5:00 pm on a Saturday. I checked Angie's List Sunday morning and read all the glowing reviews for C&K. I emailed them, not expecting to get a response until Monday, just wanted to get on the schedule as early as possible. My email was responded to in less than an hour and was told they could have someone out between 8am and 11am Monday morning. The technician arrived at 9:00am and had identified the problem in about 5 minutes. He had the part on his truck and the unit was back online in about 10 minutes. He spent the rest of the hour cleaning and recharging the system (only needed about a pound of freon). Been running great ever since. This was the first service on the unit in 8 years and if you haven't had a routine service done in a while, you really should. Since the service, the system cools to my set temperature of 74 degrees much faster and the system runs less. Parts and labor (after Angie's List coupon) was $170. Very positive experience. Excellent communication, on time arrival, knowledgable and friendly technicians and fair rates. Will have them back in a year for a routine service and you can feel confident in using them.

Attempted to fix AC unit, followed by replacing entire AC unit.

Because of all the horror stories on repairs I decided my best bet was to check out Angie’s List for a reliable vendor. Because the water from the AC was coming through my ceiling I needed to get it repaired as soon as possible. I called C & K that morning and they were able to come to my house that afternoon. They were out to my house within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, which I believe is great. I told the technician that my air is still cooling but water was coming thru. He checked it out and within a few minutes found the problem. My drainage pipe needed to be glued in two spots as that is where the water was coming from. He also check my freon which was a little low and he put more in. This all came out to $125.00, but I used the $25.00 coupon listed on Angie’s List towards the repair and total cost was $100.00. He did not collect the payment that day and said to give it a couple of days to make sure it was working. I have already recommended this company to another friend who was having trouble.

Came out same day that I reported problem. Had no a/c and temperature was over 100 degrees. Installed temporary part and came back next day with another part. Overall service was very good and price was very reasonable.

Everything went fine considering that they were swamped due to the hot spell and 4th of July holiday.

All the technicians assisting with the job were very personable and knowledgable about what they were doing. Each of the technicians also had several years of experience and were not brand new to heating/air installations. When I was going through the process of shopping quotes, I was surprised at how reasonable C&K was given their reputation. From my experience I would recommend them to anyone and would suggest getting a quote from them before going with someone else. An A all around!

The air conditioner wasn't cooling like it should have been. We called yesterday around lunch and they weren't able to do same day service because they were so busy (it's been hot around Memphis lately), but they got us scheduled for this morning and arrived right on time. After taking off the covering for the a/c unit and cleaning out all the gunk that had built up around the coils and putting everything back together he then cleared up a clog in our drain pan that was tripping a safety switch that kept the compressor from running when it should have been. Then he added some freon to the system. He was personable, professional, and knowledgeable about his trade (qualities that are too rare nowadays). The price was about what I was expecting to pay, but the service level from both their office and the field technician was better than I expected. All in all, I give C & K Air and Heating an A rating. Well done, guys.

itorMy central air unit went out Sunday afternoon. I emailed the company, not expecting any sort of response until this morning. However, within a couple of hours, I'd gotten an email from Chris letting me know they'd call me first thing this morning. And they did. Chris first called to schedule a time (1 PM) and subsequently called to let me know the technician could be out earlier. At 1230, Robbie arrived, introduced himself and got to work straight away. Within 5 minutes he'd identified the problem and was fixing it. A $35 capacitor had gone out. He didn't try to upsell or BS me in any way, performed the service quickly and efficiently, and was on his way out the door by his original appointment time. Both of the gentlemen I dealt with were professional and courteous, and my AC was up and running less than 24 hours after my first contact. These guys really deliver, and I will be certain to contact them for all of my future HVAC needs. Thanks so much, from a grateful customer.

Very nice people. The experience was one of the best I've had when working with service/repair professionals in the home. They were able to accommodate my changing schedule. Robert arrived exactly at the scheduled time, I even got a phone call from him in advance to let me know he was in route. He cleaned our two outside A/C condenser units, and even put new filters into both of our air-handlers/furnaces. We have April-Aire whole house filters, I had the replacement media. These are not your typical filters, as you have to 'rebuild' each cartridge once removed from the system. Took him no time at all, and saved me a trip into the attic. One of our units needed 2 lbs of Freon. I got the Angie's List rate. The cleaning & servicing of both units, including the 2 lbs of Freon was $110.00. A very fair value combined with very attentive service. I will certainly be using these guys again when needed, and will not hesitate referring them to friends and neighbors. Another provider wanted to rip up a wall. C+K stated that that was not necessary. They did what was necessary to make the vent work well.

Everything went really well. He did a great job.

C & K was the second A/C company that we called. They were able to come out the very next day. The service man was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was able to beat the price the other company gave us by quite a bit. We agreed to go with them and they were able to schedule the work in the time frame we required. They show up on time, they did the work quickly and we have had no problems. Would definitely recommend them to others and would use them in the future.

We called and asked that they inspect the A/C unit in question and give us an estimate of what it would take to repair it versus replacing it. They were very detailed with the quote and stayed within the amount quoted.

They were very good. I was not disappointed. When the came out to do an estimate there was no pressure to use them. The price was very competitive and they cleaned up immaculately. They were on time. They finished when they said they would finish. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

The serviceman, Mr. White, was professional, prompt, did the work and got the AC system going again.

Everything about this company was professional.An experienced technician arrived at my home at the time committed. He analysed the situation - a room over the garage that hadn't been cooled effectively since the house was built. He examined the A/C unit and confirmed that it required replacement. Most importantly to me, he proposed that additional ducting be installed to provide more air flow into the room. We negotiated a price that was approved by the owner and the work was accomplished on schedule. The work was scheduled and again, performed as scheduled. When the workers bumped our rain gutters and bent them, they pointed that out to us and the owner arranged for the replacement of that gutter and even matching the paint colore that was one it. I purposely waited until it got hot again before I wrote this rating. The solution is working properly and the room is comfortable - more comfortable than it's ever been!I plan to have them come out and address some other imbalances in the home's airflow (now that I know that can be corrected) and when the other unit fails eventually I will certainly use them for the replacement.

I don't think that I've ever dealt with a more responsive company. Chris takes customer service very seriously! I emailed a service request on Sunday evening and he got back to me in about half an hour. They were able to schedule me in on the next day. The repairs and service were done quickly and everything seems to be in good working order again. Price-wise they are very reasonable.

I wish every service repair experience could be as positive as this one! My call to the company was answered by a courteous representative who was able to schedule an appointment at a convenient time for me. On the day of the appointment, she called me 15 minutes prior to the technician arriving at my house, just as she promised. The tech was right on time and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it. Well done!

They had good reviews on Angie's List, and a $5 coupon. I needed someone to come that day because the temperature was supposed to drop to 19 degrees over the weekend. The did come the same day and fixed it. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I was happy with the price because I was thinking it was going to be a lot more. They were quick and did what they said they were going to do.

They were very good. I got them from Angie’s list and they were very good. I had to have a new computer board put in and it costed me about $400 or $500 on their services, but they did a lot of extra things. They checked out a lot of things and they even did some extra things. They kind of went above and beyond and I was really impressed with them. Their price was very good. They were in fact cheaper in comparison to some of the others. The quality of work was excellent. Their responsiveness was very good. They were pretty much on time. They were very professional. I will use their services again in the future.
