Jerry and Richard did the work. They were on time, careful, personable, and did good work. No complaints at all. The final cost what exactly what Chris had estimated. I only gave them a "B" on price because I really can't have an opinion. I didn't compare prices so I really don't know if it was a good price, or not. I tried to be neutral in my rating. Chris was very helpful in helping me sort through how I might solve other issues in the future.

C&K is a customer service oriented company. I had guests arriving from out of town for the Memorial Holiday weekend. The AC unit wasn't blowing cold air. I called several places and left messages. When I called C&K I got a live person on the phone. She was pleasant and assured me that she could have someone out to look at the unit around 5:00pm. Richard showed up on time and was very professional. He got the unit working after cleaning the unit and replinishing "a bunch" of freon. He explained the age and condition of the unit and that he couldn't guarantee how long it would keep working. My out of town guest knew all about AC units and said that everything Richard was telling me was correct. I decided to get a quote on a new unit. My guest said that it was a good price. Richard told me If I were to decide to replace the unit that day then he would waive the cost of the service call and parts/supplies. Additionally, they gave me a 5% discount for paying by check. I was called on Tuesday of the following week to schedule the installation on the new unit. They worked around my schedule. Mark and the installation team showed up on time. Mark was very professional! He let me know what they were going to do and kept me updated as the installation took place. He saw that my other unit ducks were loose. He also saw that the other unit drain hole if it got clogged up would have spilled directly onto my ceiling below. He quoted a fair price for another hour of labor and parts to fix those issues and did so that same day. The installation team used drop clothes everywhere they walked. They had to bring a very heavy unit upstairs (I replaced the furnance as well) and did so without any damage to walls or floors. I have an office that I work out of upstairs and they were quiet and did not disturb me. Once everything was finished, Mark explained everything they did and told me about the paperwork for the warranty. Said that I would recieve an invoice in the mail. It was nice not to have to pay right then and there. Mark and his team did an excellent job! C&K is a very well run operation. Everyone is customer service oriented and professional. I will use them for all of my HVAC needs.

AC went out on Friday. Sent an email via website on Sunday.. Chris email back shortly, said they were closed on Sunday but would be there on Monday. Office called Monday morning and said serviceman was on his way. Richard arrived at 8:30. Went to the attic and inspected systems. Went to the outside units and determined that a capacitor was needed which he had on his truck. Within 15 minutes the system was back running. I had told Chris on Sunday that I would like all systems cleaned and checked. He had told me if there was enough time he would but hot humid weather makes for lots of AC calls. Richard checked with Chris and then cleaned all the outside units. This is mainly washing all dust dirt and debris from inside the unit off the cooling coils. My units were either very dirty or slightly dirty (one unit was only 2 years old). Makes a HUGE difference on energy efficiency and extending the unit life. 2 1/2 hours total time. Highly recommend!

Quick response, professional technician, reasonable pricing.

Apparently our units had not received maintenance in quite some time and were very much in need. The tech spent well over an hour cleaning them and removing the colony of slugs he discovered inside. He was patient, thorough, and clear.

To begin with, Chris spent a huge amount of time with us when giving the estimate. Studied places for the new vents and returns that would be good for us, look right etc. Very accommodating and informative. Super impressed with work of whole crew - communication, time, cleanup all great. Chris, Jerry and ED wonderful (sorry if I missed someone, they were all good!) No down time, worked hard and the whole job was over less than 2 days with no sign they'd been here except a much better air flow and hopefully lower bills:) Got 4 quotes and this was 1400 higher than the lowest two, 1500 lower than highest. C&K did extra work though to make the system work better and I feel we got our money's worth! Would definitely use them again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any heat/air job!!!!

My central air conditioning was not cooling. After checking Angie's list I called C & K and the lady scheduling appointments was very pleasant. They sent someone the same day. I am cautious about heating and air companies because I wouldn't know if I need $100, $1000 or $5000 worth of service. Richard found the problem quickly, replaced the broken part, and we were cooling 30 minutes later. The charge was $80 with a coupon. Thank goodness for trustworthy people and companies.

It was great! I would absolutely recommend C & K to anyone who needs HVAC work done, whether on an emergency or maintenance basis.

Chris came out for the estimate. He was the only one that thoroughly examined my duct system as well as the existing equipment. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. His staff was very professional and left my home in great condition. He accommodated my working schedule and programmed the thermostats before he left. He also corrected any problems found in the existing duct work. I could not be more pleased with C & K. I will be using them to maintain my new system for years to come.

C & K is a very good company. I was very pleased with the service starting with the initial consultation, through the installation. Chris, the owner, was very easy to work with. He knows his products well (Carrier and Trane). I chose Carrier because the technical specifications met my needs (very quiet outside unit). He quoted a very fair price at the outset. Other companies that I interacted with provided very high prices at first (with the intent of negotiating the price down). Chris was always available to answer my questions during the process of my evaluation. The installation went very smoothly and was completed in about 1.5 days. I highly recommend this company... I just wish that I had done business with before now!

Called on 4/14/2014, in the morning. Jeff came out the same day to give an estimate. My air was not cooling and I was scheduled for surgery. He showed me on my AC unit what was wrong and explained all my options for repair or replace. He was very professional and courteous. I felt no pressure on what to purchase but because my unit was over 18 years old, I decided to change out my furnace and AC with Trane units. Install was scheduled for 4/17 which they worked me in. They arrived on time, worked diligently, finished in one day and cleanup was immaculate. Inspection has been done. I am very pleased and highly recommend this company!

Originally was looking at replacing 7 year old, contractor grade HVAC system. Our house had unusual zoning and system couldn't keep up with demands. Received several quotes from other contractors. Original quote by C&K was for HVAC and was close to other quotes. However, wasn't comfortable spending that amount of money since my system worked but just seemed to set up wrong. Contacted the owner Chis with my concerns and he came to my house to look over everything and answer questions. Spent some time thinking of solutions, and came up with zoning system that would make my 2 HVAC systems work better. JJ and another technician arrived a few day later to complete the work. Did a good job, but left things a little messy. Not a big deal, and will not stop me from using them in the future. Everything is working great, as the comfort level in the home was improved and utility bills dropped immediately. Rebecca provides outstanding customer service.

Rebecca, the receptionist and project organizer, is very polite and super efficient. We had originally used them for a service call back in September 2013 during which it was discovered that we needed a new condenser unit. They quoted us prices for a Carrier unit and a Trane unit. Since it was the end of the summer, we decided to wait until the spring to have the work done. I called Rebecca on Monday morning, and she was able to locate our previous paperwork and quote quickly. Even though I called her at 9:00 am, she was able to schedule my appointment for the same day... In fact, within an hour! The work was done quickly and without problem by the techs who arrived. My bill was exactly what I had been quoted.

I had received an estimate from Jeff last summer for the repair. The estimate I received from C & K was almost half the amount of the first estimate I received from another company. I called on Thur. 3/13 to verify that my estimate was still good and to make an appointment. Set up appt. with Jeff on Mon. 3/17 @ 9:00 a.m. Crew showed up about 9:15 a.m. and started work immediately. Work was done quickly and all mess and debris was picked up and vacuumed. Jeff and the two other gentlemen were very courteous. Very satisfied with the work results so far, however, temperatures are not high enough to use the a/c yet. Will report again on the results of the repairs when warmer weather is here and I can judge the improvement in cooling. Cost of the repair was exactly what was quoted early on and they redeemed my Angies List coupon for $25 off the repair service.

We woke up to discover the furnace not operating. After calling C & K, a technician was onsite within 30-45 minutes and had identified a blown circuit board shortly thereafter. He was able to find a replacement part in town, replace it (and the blower motor, since both were covered) under the manufacturer's warranty, and get the furnace operational. I've used C & K before, and the experience was the same: punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. I will definitely turn to C & K again should the need arise.

I woke up to a cold house. The downstairs heating system was not functioning. I called C&Kand they sent a tech within the hour. Jeff diagnosed the problem in less than 3 minutes. He called the office to see if they could locate a part. They did and he went to pick it up, returned and installed it. The whole event took about 1.5 hours. The boss owes this guy a lunch. Thanks Jeff.

Called about an appointment...gave us a time and also called when the repairman was on his way. Jeff arrived and checked out the problem but didn't have the part...showed us how to lite it until it could be replaced. Jeff arrived the next day and fixed the problem...and the price was cheaper than the estimate. Great service will defiantly use again!

They were very punctual, neat, and friendly. They were here for 2 days working, and I hardly noticed they were here.

These guys were great. I got several bids, and they were the best price, and had outstanding service as well.

It went well it was an older unit so to replace one of the parts was very expensive, it took quit a bit of time because the tech. had a hard time removing the the old part, however we were well pleased with the overall results. The service was performed for my aged mother,when she inquired from the tech the overall cost, he question why she wanted to know since her daughter was the one paying for it, she informed him that the repairs were being done at her house and she had a right to know,after all she was the home owner and would still be concerned about what it would cost me, maybe in the future a little more professionalism may be needed no matter who pays the bill, but overall i have no complaints and I like the fact that their coupon was better than other companies. I'm happy with the results.

Called the highest rated listee and they could only promise their tech would be here sometime that afternoon. C&K was able to send a repairman out immediately. He inspected the entire unit, made the repair and was out very quickly. Didn't try any hard sell or look for any upsell opportunities. Will definitely use them again.

The technicians that came out was very professional. They usually come the same day I call if I had any issues. They communicated well and address those issues. Scheduling went smoothly and accommodated to me.
