C & T GUTTERING

I purchased my home back in September 2013. The house was a complete renovation with a new roof and gutters, which were installed by this company. After the first rainstorm, my husband and I noticed that a portion of the gutters in the front of the house was not draining. Upon further inspection, we realized that the gutter was completely level and not sloped to drain. Therefore, the gutter would fill up with water and just spill over the front of the house and into the ground. Over time, the ground has become saturated and now we are dealing with a leak in our basement due to this area of gutters. I spoke with the sellers of the home and they gave me the contact info for Tom Perotti, the owner of the company that installed the gutters. I first spoke with him on the phone on 10/21/14. My first impression was that he was very nice and he requested that I text him my address and assured me he would have someone come out to fix it soon. He said that it was no problem and that they would take care of it. I waited and never heard back for a couple of weeks, so I called him again. He started to give me a list of excuses, but assured me someone would come out. No one ever came out and I called him again some time in the winter and he said that no one could come out until the weather was better. He promised that my house was the first job on their list once the weather improved. Again, I waited and waited and never heard back. I contacted Tom again on 5/1 and he gave me more excuses about people quitting, but that he would get someone out that week to fix the gutter. A week went by, and then another. I contacted him again and got the same, "oh yes, we will have someone out this week." Now it is the beginning of June and I have completely given up on this company. We have a terrible leak in our basement and the owner does not seem to care about his reputation or the type of work that they do. I was even willing to pay them to fix what they had done improperly. I don't understand how a company like this can survive and I am extremely disappointed.
