Scott Lee Heating Company

I originally called them when another firm had come out to do the fall inspection and shut my system down because of a "stress crack in the heat exchanger", and produced a contract for a new one, I called Scott Lee for a second opinion. Their technicians assessed the furnace - said that there was no immediate danger - and turned the system back on. I asked to have a sales person come and do an estimate. Scott Lee's bid was the lowest of the three I got and for I judged better equipment. Their crew arrived on time on the day appointed, worked professionally and efficiently. I had one call back because of noise. The repair person was there promptly tightened lose part, and adjusted the veins in a cold air return - noise was gone. We are now in the middle of the heating season and all works very well. Heat bills are lower.

They did the work quickly and gave great service after the installation when we had further questions. He came out after hours. We have not had any problems with this company or with the system. We are very pleased with this them and we would use them again.

Was a subcontractor so no direct dealings, but all seems well and no issues noted.

My system wasn't cooling, I called on a Saturday and the technician gave me some ideas to look for myself to prevent an expensive weekend call. I corrected the problem temporarily following their advice and had them look at the system during normal hours. They showed up when they said they would and completed the work.

They are an excellent company and I would recommend them.

The service job they did was great. They were honest with me, letting me know my units were vibrating and this was no real cause for alarm, just noisy. I felt there prices were high, but I did get what I paid for! Good service

They did the job and cleaned up well. They were very polite people and they have been there for a long time. They did an excellent job. They gave us the option of replacing one of our 3 furnaces and also explained why we should do it. They also told us what we should be doing if we didn’t replace it. We decided to replace the furnace and they didn’t try to sell any expensive stuff. They were very nice and honest. They did the work promptly. They wore shoe covers which I really liked it. They respected your house and made sure everything is clean. They were very professional and we will use them again.

They are fine. They are prompt, courteous, and do good work.

They are the most wonderful people to work with. They are very compassionate and worked with us as well with our other contractors. We have used Scott Lee for repair work on our existing ac/furnace and they are always accommodating, reliable and fast. This is a wonderful company to work with and I highly recommend them.

I like that I have used them so many times and really know what to expect of them. They come when they say they are going to and always show up on time. They provide pretty good service.

Install went well. Having problems with keeping antifreeze in system, but Scott-Lee has been out every month testing and looking for leak. If it continues next spring they will replace cooling coil or whatever it is. They have been great to work with. The salesman was knowledgeable, the installers were polite, professional and nice to have in your home working.

Service rep (Randy) showed up as scheduled. Checked upstairs furnace first with the water and discovered the hose was clogged. Blew into the hose and problem was solved. Checked both furnaces for performance (basic maintenance service call).

Excellent experience! Our old air conditioner was going through its death-throes and we needed a new one. Kevin came out to our house one evening, went through the options available, examined our old system. His knowledge is very thorough and he did not try to pressure us one way or the other. Rather, he outlined the options, pros and cons, and enabled us to make the decision that was best for us. Upon making our decision at about 6:30 in the evening, the team was on site the next morning at 7:00 ready to work. The new system was installed very professionally and works like a charm. Additionally, all old materials were cleaned-up and hauled away.

Called to schedule an appointment to have someone give me a bid on repairing my sweating duct work. Had a few references for the same work. I had to call more than once to get an appointment, when they finally called back they said they had never heard of such a problem and didn't understand what I was talking about. They were not helpful and wouldn't even make an appointment to look at it.

I had a coupon that had expired but they still honored it. They were very professional.

I didn't mind the wait for someone to get there, because it was only 66 degrees in our house, and although that is quite chilly, it is still livable. Plus we have a small gas fireplace downstairs which helped heat the house. I think if it had been colder inside and we hadn't had the fireplace they would have had someone out sooner. Dave Duncan is an experienced (almost 20 years) HVAC technician and has done our twice yearly service almost every time for the last several years. He is polite, knowledgeable and courteous, and he didn't mind me sitting there looking over his shoulder while he worked, which I don't usually do but I was scared to death the furnace was shot. Plus, he wears shoe covers while he is in my house, which I very much appreciate. The work was done quickly and I would highly recommend Scott-Lee. He also gave me a 10% discount on the service call for being a long-time customer and having a maintenance agreement.

They gave us an estimate and had to order a part and came out a week later to fix it. We have a 20 year old system so it was understandable why the part wasn't on the truck. They told us we should get a new system but we chose to not spend that kind of money right now. This is the same company that installed the system 20 years ago and outside of the basic cleaning services, we have only had to call them 2 other times for service. They are dependable, on time and guarantee their work.

They have been very consistent with my service agreement. They will call ahead of time to make sure that we will be home for them and if we aren't home they leave a nice message explaining everything to us. They are very professional, neat, clean and courteous.

I am very happy because they got the unit cooling properly again. The price was rather high, but overall the work was great. I have no complaints and I would use their service again. They knew what they were doing and that makes me happy.

I have been using them for nine years and they do just a great job. They have us on a service contract to do the work two times a year and we don't have to worry about our furnace going out.

Postitive. They were professional, knowledgeable and timely. It did take me 3 phone calls and 3 different representatives, two of whom, left the company and never returned a bid. OK, maybe not so timely. The third time I spoke to Dennis and he and everyone after that was great. My 3rd sales rep. Steve and the lead installer Mark were really great. I use Scott-Lee for all my service needs and have no problem recommending them. I believe that the first two representatives were likely just poor timing on my part.

They are prompt, courteous, and we have use them for twenty years. They do give great customer service. Randy is a great service man.

SCOTT LEE GUTTERING WAS PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND HELPFUL. THEY RECOGNIZED THE PROBLEM WITH THE GUTTER SYSTEM. CLEANED THE GUTTERS AND QUICKLY INSTALLED THE NEW GUTTER GUARD. THEY WERE ABLE TO ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS and COMPLETE WORK IN A TIMELY FASHION.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROMPT RESPONSE AND THE VARIETY OF OPTIONS THAT WERE COVERED AND OFFERED. INSTALLATION WAS SMOOTH. INSTALLERS WERE COURTEOUS AND ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS.
