light sanding and one coat of polyurethane on oak floor. Generally satisfactory, but they missed a strip under some cabinets. Had to be prompted to return a couple of heavy pieces of furniture to the room.

He was courteous, but was unable to do the work because the floors were waxed.

Simply outstanding. Although busy, Larry (Allan Flooring President) worked us in on short notice. Even when we ordered tile and the wrong product showed up at our door (a company in Earth City did this) Larry adjusted his schedule and still completed our job. Larry overcame numerous challenges during the install of tile and refurbishment of hardwood as I recently purchased a 60 year old house that hadn't been cared for. Larry replaced wood as necessary, redid door steps, leveled flooring as needed and even helped remove door frames when we had a larger-than-life refrigerator delivered! If you ask Larry to do your work you will get a small business owner who personally does the job and takes pride in his work. He has the rare combination of exquisite work quality and over-the-top customer service. We will ask him to do work for us in the future.

Larry, who is the owner of Allan Flooring, proved extremely easy to work with. He emailed within 24 hours after I purchased the Big Deal on Angie's List for floor cleaning and I responded. He was very personable and eager to meet. He was prompt in meeting me and very flexible about what needed to be done. He was going to do the work this week, but I had to change the date and he was fine with that. The work will be completed after Thanksgiving and that will work out well for both of us.

After we wasted $2000 and 3 weeks with another provider, our floor appeared permanently ruined. We called Larry Lee of Allen Floors who arrived the next day and reassured us that the damage could be repaired. Within 2 weeks, he completely refinished the prior disaster, completing the entire job in 4 days for $1100. He was prompt, arriving every morning at 7 AM, courteous, and loved our dog. He is truly professional and knows his specialty well. A true craftsman when it comes to floors. We will recommend him totally and will definitely use him again.

Larry was prompt to respond to my coupon purchase and punctual for our sessions. He was careful to shield nearby rooms from dust with plastic sheeting. His equipment produces almost no dust to begin with. He completed the work over a 2-day period in about 5 hours, working on my preferred days. I have complete confidence in his skill. He really loves wood!

We were planning to sand and refinish the hardwood floors in our new-to-us condo. I reached out to several flooring contracters and contacted Allan flooring. Larry was very responsive, and was able to meet me on-site within 24 hours after our first contact on Angie's list. He was then able to get our job on the schedule immediately, finishing far ahead of when I expected. Larry advised us on our original plans and helped us think through what we really wanted to accomplish. In the end, we didn't need to sand the entire floor to get the results we were looking for, saving us money and saving some of the life of the floors. We were very satisfied with the outcome.

Our hardwood floors are over 100 years old. One corner in the dining room had become loose and threatened to snap if a lot of weight was put on it in the right place. I was sure we were going to have to have the whole corner replaced or, worse, the entire room redone. Allan, of Allan Flooring, examined the area thoroughly, top and bottom, and said he could fix it without removing any of the boards. He did and it was a perfect job.

Larry is fantastic. He's one of the hardest working AL providers I've had the pleasure of working with. He's extremely responsive (via email, text and cell) and did an outstanding job making our new home look beautiful. The floors look brand new. He put new flooring in where we needed it in order to blend engineered flooring with traditional hardwood - he helped us pick stains - and most importantly he worked around the clock to get his portion of the job done in time for our upcoming move. Wonderful job all around - could not have asked for more from him. Oh and the floors look amazing. Absolutely amazing.

They were very good and very accommodating. They did a really fine job and although we found something a month afterwards that they had missed they came back right away and fixed it. It was just a little bump in the floor and they were terrific. We have recommended them to people.

He did a really great job. I really like Larry a lot. He is a good guy. We found him through a friend. He told us everything beforehand when we got the bids and everything was just as he told us.

They were able to match up and "merge" the color and finish with the adjoining kitchen which was refinished several years ago by another company. Good service, quality and fair price overall. One slight "ding" is that I wish they had sealed off the doorways to the other areas of the house to minimize dust a bit. (with plastic) Otherwise~ very professional.

He was really good. He was superb. We had an older home with wooden floors under carpeting. He sanded them and stained some of them. They look beautiful. Transition from room to room was difficult because it is an older home. We don’t even notice any difference now. I call him my artist. I got so many compliments for the work he has done. The flooring looks beautiful. He is a small operation company. He provided some personalized service. He did run late as he was busy; however he kept us posted. He gave us the lowest bid. He gives personal attention to his customers. He has a lot of experience, so he call tell you the best to refinish, install, or make repairs.
