Went very smoothly.

They consulted on our needs and recommended an efficient yet cost-effective gas heater and new AC compressor. Work done on time and good quality. They installed wrong thermostat but returned promptly to replace although the bill was already paid.

After they missed the appointment I called them and they said they were busy and would have to rescheduled because they were working on other service calls that did not have appointments..

Galmiche was a very easy company to communicate with and were very prompt in their response. Their price was very competitive and they were helpful in deciding whether to repair current gas furnace or replace.

I was a bit disappointed with Galmiche Brothers the last time they came. The first time, they were fantastic, but the second time the man who came didn t seem to be too skilled. We told him the furnace was not working properly and he told us a pipe was stopped up and then blew in it, then told us it was fixed. He did however arrive when he said he would and seemed friendly enough.

They did an excellent job installing this system even with the obstacles of our old Victorian home. They did not damage our plaster, which I thought was very skillful. They will take care of the warranty and service calls in the future for us. I thought they were very professional.

They are always so nice and really seem to know what they are doing. He uses my water hose to clean it out and sometimes he forgets to roll it back up. That is really the only complaint I have about them.

They service our heating and cooling units. They come in the Fall for our furnace. We have not had any problems with the furnace or the central air. We will call them in the future for maintenance on our systems.

Saturday evening A/C went out. I called a dozen companies. Galmiche responded immediately and arrived within 30 minutes. Other companies refused to come until Sunday. Paul S. diagnosed a bad thermostat quickly and replaced and rechecked system within 45 minutes. Reasonable service charge of $74. Labor for 45 minutes was only $90. Programmable thermostat was $80. I'm very impressed. Other companies wanted $140 just to make Saturday visit.

The representative suggested a change to the drawing that I accepted, quoted a price and a one-day completion time that was acceptable, then finished the box by the end of day.

The service man was late for our appointment (a four hour window), but apologized, so I stayed so he could do the work. He was very considerate and answered all my questions about the unit.

The service person spent about 1 1/2 hours inspecting the furnace and air conditioner.

The compressor for our old A/C unit was leaking and could not be repaired. The initial company that we called provided a $2,000 estimate to replace the compressor. I called Galmiche & Son to get a quote and they indicated that replacing the unit would be the most cost effective option. The worker was a little late, but he explained the delay and completed the required work in a timely fashion. I was very pleased with both the price and the service. Considering the time of the year and speed of service, I would definitely recommend this company.

Joe came right out and installed everything in about 2 hours. He had everything on his truck ready to go. I trusted him in my home. He made sure that everything was cleaned up before leaving. He also gave a 10 year transferable warranty. Im getting ready to hire him again to install a new compressor. I give him triple As.

Great to work with and quality of work is terrific. Our project became much larger than expected. Galmich arrived when they said they would (a trait not easy to find in this business.)

RESPONSIVE, PRICED FAIRLY AND LONG TIME EMPLOYEES.

AS THE AIR CONDITIONERS IN MY TOWNHOUSE NEARED THE END OF THEIR USEFUL LIFE, WITH A NOTICEABLE DEGRADATION IN COOLING PERFORMANCE, I STARTED TO COLLECT BIDS TO HAVE THE TWO A/C UNITS REPLACED. GALMICHE WAS THE LOWEST PRICED PROVIDER, AND SINCE THEY ARE HIGHLY RATED ON ANGIE'S LIST (AND HAVE ALSO PERFORMED WORK FOR A FRIEND WHO IS A NOTABLY "TOUGH SELL"). I SELECTED THEM TO REPLACE MY A/C UNITS ALONG WITH ONE OF THE TWO GAS FURNACES IN MY HOME. JEFF GALMICHE WAS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL (HOW MANY CONTRACTORS CALL THEIR CUSTOMERS "SIR" THESE DAYS?), WAS UBER-RESPONSIVE TO QUESTIONS, AND NEVER LET PHONE CALLS GO UNRETURNED FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS.

THEY WERE THE LOWEST OF 5 BIDS. THEY WERE WONDERFUL TO DEAL WITH. THEY ARE VERY EFFICIENT. THEY DIDN'T LEAVE A MESS. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN AND I WILL BE USING THEM FOR ANOTHER JOB. THEY REPLACED SOMETHING THAT SOME OF THE OTHER COMPANIES WOULDN'T INCLUDE.
