Description of Work: During the last Big rains that left many basements under water, I too was a victim of mother nature. I awoke one morning to no heat and no hot water. I walked into my Basement of 18" of standing water. Submerged under water was my boiler and water heater. Being right after Christmas I was in awe of what to do. The owner of Al-don sense of family and compassion was able to see our urgent need (having two small children). He was able to supply our house with a new boiler in a more than timely manner. While maintaining professionalism. His crew was great and respectful. He was able to work with our finances. And most importantly he treated us like a good family member or neighbor. I would highly recommend Al-don for any needs you might need the company for.

Description of Work: Heat Pump was not working. Fairly quickly found electrical breaker |had tripped out. Had annual service agreement with this Company |for over 10 years. Recently, long-term appointments were delayed |because of higher priority jobs. Have cancelled agreement. |But they always performed high quality work when here.

+ -1 moreThey were my routine furnace and air conditioning maintenance people, but when the furnace went out I chose to go with a different company. The other company provided me with a routine service contract so I would not using be using AL-Don Indoor Air Quality Specialists Llc in the future. I had a contract with them and it was $190 for a year. They were punctual. They were thorough and I stopped using them because of their price. They were too pricey. Their price was the highest for a replacement furnace. Their staff is very good and the quality of service is good too.
Description of Work: I used the services of AL-Don Indoor Air Quality Specialists LLC in October 2009 for maintenance of my furnace and air conditioning.

+ -1 moreAl Don installed a new high-efficiency furnace and air conditioner in my home in spring 2010. They did a very high-quality job and paid close attention to all the details. As a design engineer in my job, I know what to look for. On Nov 16, the furnace developed a problem where the flame would not come on. I called Al Don the next morning, they came to the house that afternoon, found a bad part, got a replacement within an hour or so, and had the furnace back up and running, all at no charge. They seemed genuinely interested in ensuring I was satisfied customer.

Description of Work: Al-Don installed a new AC/Heating system in 2008 (very nice job) and the AC unit had lost all freon 5/1/10. They repaired and reolaced freon at now charge.

+ -1 moreTHIS COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY COULD NOT COME FOR 2 WEEKS AND SENT SOMEONE TO PUT FREON IN MY OLD SYSTEM. THAT DID NOT WORK BECAUSE THE COMPRESSOR WAS ''DEAD''. THEY INSTALLED A USED AIR CONDITIONER FOR US AT NO CHARGE. THEY ALSO OFFERED FREE FINANCING FOR 4 YEARS. THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE WAS ASKED FOR AND GAVE ME A WORKABLE ZONING SYSTEM THAT WOULD HELP COOL MY TOP FLOOR BETTER. THE OTHER COMPANIES DID NOT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE ALSO UNDER THE QUOTE OF THE OTHER TWO COMPANIES FOR THE AIR CONDITIONER. THE COST HEREIN SUBMITTED INCLUDES THE ZONING SYSTEM WORK.
