Everything was done in a first class manner. I was a bit inquisitive, and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I was surprised to find that my dwelling was much more efficient than I thought. There was no shorting the process of this inspection. Everything that I could imagine being done from my research was done -- and then some. Smarthouse was fantastic!

No compliants. They were professional and responsive. The price for the recommendations was higher than other companies so we ultimately used another company for insulation.

Very good work! Professional and thorough. Followed thru every step of the way from start to finish. We had 5 other bids and still felt uncomfortable with the professionals we had been getting bids from. 6 times a charm! Then we met Marc Bluestone! He was informational, easy going, and the only one wiling to install the new AC unit on our existing rack! He also informed us about the St.Louis County Saves Program, no else mentioned this Program. Everyone at Smarthouse is an asset, from Marc to Stephanie to the wonderful Journeymen. We are very, very happy with our high efficiency AC and furnace. We have referred Smarthouse to others and they too have been very pleased. Hire them, you won't regret it!

It went fine, they have a division in their company that does the work; and I think that creates some issues with conflict of interest. The guy was nice, and the test was set at a reasonable price. I did feel he could have been a bit more thorough, however, but because they provide the service to remedy the problem creates a concern for me.

Joe was punctual, professional, and very informative. I am considering what work to have done.

It turned out pretty good, but we didn't do anything yet with it. My husband waited four months after we purchased the Big Deal before they came out. We just paid the price for the Big Deal. I would say they're very helpful. We didn't actually purchase anything from them, so we can't say if what he provided was good, but he definitely came out. I thought the price was reasonable.

Upgraded the efficiency of my home. They did excellent work.

They do exactly what they say they will do. . I used the report they gave me during our renovation to make the house more energy efficient.

I was very pleased with the energy scan, they didn't try to sell me windows or things I did not need. After the scan we went over what I needed as far as insulation and air leaking into attic from canned lights. The skylight was not insulated so they factored in the cost of all of the above mentioned items as well as foam insulation around the whole perimeter of the foundation where it meets the frame of the house. There were some gaps that you could see daylight through!! The employees did a very professional job and were polite and friendly. Finished up and cleaned up all in one day.

It went fine. It was informative and I learned some things that I was not aware of before. It was good. I thought they gave good recommendations. I would use them again.

Everything went very well. He crawled all around our attic, was very knowledgeable and polite. Put me at ease right away. We have several bids broken down into segments, which will be good as we go forward bit by bit to improve our insulation.

It is kind of spotty. There were parts of what they did that were really good. 0:40-0:45 and anything else I asked about was we do not do that and we do not know about that. It was kind of did they give me the energy audit, no; I paid for a promo for their services. I do not think they reviewed or offered solutions that they did not sell. I had to run the outlets in the house. 2:01-2:03. Okay that is a heat loss there right, and I asked what they do about it, and they said nothing. A little bit of research on the internet showed that there were lots of things you can do about that, but because they did not sell them, they just said nothing. They later said that there is nothing they could do about them. For me I felt like I did not learn a whole lot more than what I knew before. It seemed like they wanted to sell me insulation for the attic or to come and plug the holes and that would go in between the floors, stuffs like that. Things that they would do they recommended, but they did not give me an overview 2:45-2:46 like how does the windows look compared to others 2:50-2:51. I felt like well 2:54-2:58, and I did not find out. I felt like it was very much geared towards the products that they sell. Everything they recommended were products they sold. They did the draft search where they put a big fan downstairs and suck the air out so they could show me where the draft was coming from and how air was flowing between the floors. That was very useful and instructive. I was pleased that they did that. That was informative. There is actually insulation where you just take the cover of your outlet, I found this online and from talking to other people, there is actually a batting that can go in there that will prevent the draft. So, 5:08-5:11, but you can do something where you can actually put little pieces of insulation inside that is specific for that. You can get it at different hardware stores. 5:21-5:22 because I have a concrete brick building, and it is very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Anything to perfect the draft helps. What they did do was fine. I just did not feel like they were complete or offered. I was kind of annoyed that I paid for a sales pitch. 6:06-6:10. They were kind of expensive. I think we were able to arrange a time when I was here.

They came out and did the test a while ago. They were spectacular. They came out and did a great report and write up for me. They did a great job. I got a very detailed and up to date report. They were very nice. They checked back with me a few weeks later. They did not hassle me afterwards. They were very upfront. I told them I was going to do it, I don't know when as I am working on a couple of projects at the moment. They were very professional.

They came and inspected for energy efficiency.

Joe, the sales rep, was very knowledgeable about his products and what work he recommended explaining how and why they were suggesting all of the work. He broke down the costs individually, in order of priority, so we would spend what we had budgeted wisely. Called me back within a reasonable amount of time every time I had a question. The workers were very professional as well, showing up on time and cleaning up all of the mess associated with the job before leaving. One of them even went back to the truck after putting away all of his equipment to get what he needed to clean up a small mess he didn't notice earlier. My wife was very pleased!

They were fine. They confirmed areas that were fine, however I was looking for more information/detail on areas needing to be addressed.

The guy that came was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable which is somebody I like to have working in my home. He did what I expected him to do and he gave us a recommendation that we needed to replace the furnace and we did end up doing that with a different company.

I think that they did what they said they would do, were fast and were very good. I have nothing bad to say about them.

They were very responsive. They gave me a complete energy audit. I’m using that information for heating and cooling needs. It was worth the money.

Outstanding service, very responsive. Their work made a huge difference in the temperature of our upstairs rooms, both in summer and winter. Wish we had done this years ago!
