They came and did a good job. They called me right away but because of my job I had to put it off for a couple of weeks. I have two heaters so I paid $49 a piece. The guy made me feel that I needed to watch him because I was worried that he might break something out. I walked in and showed him then he kept telling me that I could leave...which made me feel very uncomfortable.

The energy audit was clear and well-done, no issues at all. The recommendations were fine, if expensive compared to the potential cost-savings. We ended up taking no further action even with a credit as part of the big deal, the recommendations just were not cost effective in our situation (or perhaps just over-priced?). Also, after the initial discussion of recommendations, there was no further follow-up from the company.

It was fine. It went really well. They were professional and very knowledgeable. They showed up and did what they said they were gonna do. Hey got me the report that I had passed on to the new owners of the home. It’s pretty technical so you don’t have to initially rely on what they told you. They had all their equipment to kinda show you how they do all the testing and all that stuff.

First, I appreciate we are a bit remiss in getting in our review. We were waiting until we've had some cold weather to assess how the additional insulation was working. Well now that we've had some of the coldest temperatures in decades we are happy to report that our home is staying warmer and our furnace is running less often. Mission accomplished. We built our home 8 years ago and assumed the original builder put in adequate insulation. Another contractor doing work in the attic suggested otherwise. We obtained 3 estimates including SmartHouse. We liked their assessment and attention to detail and ultimately selected them to do the work. They brought our attic insulation to R49 including over our garage areas. They were very responsive during our bid and selection process and timely in getting the service scheduled. The crew (George and one other person) were prompt, thorough with attention to details (like adding insulation to the attic ceiling covers. We are pleased with the work and the results and would absolutely use SmartHouse again, should the need every arise.

As noted above, became further educated about our furnace system as well as further services that will be required to better insulate our dwelling, all are in order for consideration, to follow.

They performed the work. It is so much nicer in that room. The price was about 40% higher than expected based upon my research. But, they were timely, efficient, and only one of three companies that would respond to my request to look at this space. The room is 21x21 and the cost was $720.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. They were very professional. I just paid the price of the deal.

Everything went great. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I have no complaints and would recommend them again.

Came in and did a home energy audit to see were things could most improve

One guy did all the work. Was an hour late. The insulation strips placed on front and back doors were so tight I couldn't lock the door the next day due to dropping temperatures. I'm somewhat disappointed.

Replaced broken part to restart furnace. Gave discount on part and offered a service contract which I agreed to. It went well.

They were able to show the problems on their device that detected temperature differences. I actually didn't get the work they recommended done because I wanted to check around on prices for that work and I never got around to it.

While checking the furnace, the technician identified an issue that needed to be repaired before it could be operated safely.

fairly well, he replaced a capacitor. He charged me about 80 for parts and labor, it was like 10$ on amazon, but he charged almost 50 for it, but i think that is where they make their money..

They really didn't do anything. The reason why I placed an order was because I was having trouble with my humidifier on the furnace and the gentleman that came out was not able to fix it. And I ended up rehiring another company that a neighbor recommended and he found a problem with the wiring why the humidifier wasn't working. When I spoke to him on the phone I was having a problem with the humidifier, the furnace worked fine. He said well I can look at that when I come in, well he did and whatever he switched it didn't work when he left and a couple of days I ended up hiring somebody else. He wasn't familiar with the humidifier and he spent half the time on the phone talking to somebody who knew more about it than he did and whoever he spoke to didn't understand it either. He was friendly, he was fine and I didn't have a problem. He made the appointment, he showed up when he said he would and other than that he just didn't seem to be very knowledgeable with this particular humidifier.

Everything turned out great. They did an excellent job. They were prompt and emailed me back to set up a date right away. They were very clean, nice and professional. They gave me a number to call just in case I needed anything and I really liked the price as well.

I was very pleased with the result. My house seemed more comfortable after they completed the work.

The technician actually arrived early. He did the furnace cleaning, etc. and then discovered the electric elements were overheating. He spent about an hour before he found the right balance of blower speed and elements. He concluded the furnace was originally installed incorrectly. Inspection by the original installer to correct the problem is planned.

Service provider arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. He showed me where I could make my house more energy efficient.

The provider was prompt and very courteous. He was extremely professional. There were a couple of suggested things that needed to be done, and he explained thoroughly about what he found. There was no pressure to get anything done, but we did repair what needed to be done. We also were offered a service plan which gave 25% off. Extremely satisfied with this provider and would recommend them highly.
