Nu-View Replacement Windows & Doors

The work was excellent. Dave and a helper completed everything within a day and cleaned up very well. They were punctual and curteous and worked straight through until the job was done.

We started by e-mailing 2 companys from reports that we reviewed on Angies List. Dave, the owner of Nu-View called us the first thing the next morning. It took the other company 5 days to return our call. Dave came out 2 days later and measured, showed us the product and gave us an estimate. He was never pushy, and we were pleased with his estimate. We wanted a second estimate and called a 3rd company that came out. The salesman wasted so much of our time talking about the company and took for ever to give us the estimate. We were so surprised that the second estimate came in $2000.00 over Nu-View. We just felt so comfortable with Dave and knew we wanted to go with him. We never have had any work/repairs to our home that was so easy and turned out so wonderful. Thank you Dave for everything!! You run a real class act that we will refer to any chance we get.

Dave was super quick to respond, was very professional, even offered to install a few screens for no charge. Would definitely recommend to others, and would use again!

I received 2 bids for my window replacement project. Nu-View's estimate came in a bit lower than the other company. I chose to go with Nu-View for the work for several reasons. Dave Manser is the owner and he is also on site for every installation. Dave has been installing windows for a long time and I appreciated his expertise in the field. Dave's estimate also included a set price for each window...the exterior wrapping and energy efficient gas were all included in the price. The other bid I received priced every "extra" individually. I feel Nu-View started out with a higher quality product since all the "extras" were already included. The installation went great! The entire install took 3.5 hours. Dave and his crew left the interior and exterior very clean when they were finished. The windows look great! I am very happy with the final product!

Dave was very professional - explained in depth the windows & how they worked. Was fast a& efficient with the installation. Went out of his way to complete job in a timely manner.

NuView was the first of 4 bids I received, and each time we met with another contractor we always compared them to NuView. From the initial meeting and walk-thru it was evident that Dave was an expert in his trade. In addition to replacing the windows, the bottom framing studs were rotted and damaged from water and termites. I knew this because I found the damaged boards while I was remodeling this room. Of the 4 bids I received, NuView was the only one that could price the board replacement there on the spot. To me this was a good indicator that I was dealing with someone with experience. Not only did the other contractors all have to "check with" their head carpenter, or bosses, etc. but there was always this feeling that they were unsure how to tackle something like this? With NuView you are always dealing with the lead carpenter and boss/owner - Dave. He's not a just a sales guy or an estimator. Dave is there installing the window he just sold you. Everything that we talked about in our original meeting didn't have to be re-explained to the installers. NuView wasn't the cheapest nor did I find their window to be the "best" out there but in the end it was the professionalism and expertise that made me choose them for this project. I will definitely use NuView again when I'm ready to replace the other windows in my home.

I can't say enough about our positive experience with Nu-View and owner Dave Manser. As background, we used Champion to replace our upstairs windows 1.5 years ago. We were disappointed with two aspects of that experience- the hard sell (even though we told the Champion salesman that we had already made up our mind to move forward with him, he stayed >2 hours), and the install process, which we later learned was performed by a contractor (i.e. NOT Champion employees). The contractor actually said the following: "Please call us directly if we did anything wrong, because Champion will reduce our payment if you call them within 30 days;" and: "Let us know if you'd like us to do your bottom windows independently- we can do it for less than Champion will charge you."). And, of course, they did a poor caulk job on at least one of our most visible windows, so the workmanship left us unimpressed. So...for the bottom windows, we set out to shop around. Based on their positive Angie's List reviews, I called Nu-View and Window World for estimates. To get Window World out of the way, they were fine- a much better sales experience than Champion, comparable window quality, but slightly higher price than Nu-View (about $200 more); and, they also use contractors to install- after our last experience, this was a major turn-off for us. Then, I called Nu-View. The owner of the company (Dave) picked up right away, was friendly and professional, and was happy to come by at my convenience to provide an estimate the following Monday (which was the first day I could meet - very responsive). So, instead of speaking with a call center and getting visited by a salesman, the President of the company came to my home, and was efficient in walking me through Nu-View's product line while he worked up an estimate (with rebates, it ended up being slightly less than WW, and less than the estimate Champion provided a year earlier). He left without any high pressure tactics, without throwing his competition under the bus (despite my invitation to do so), and invited my call if we wanted to move forward. I called two days later, and Dave was happy to stop by for our deposit ($500), and to provide the formal work order. He gave me a 4-5 week timeline for the windows to come in. They came in after 2 weeks (i.e. 3 weeks early), and Dave was able to install them the NEXT DAY. I did some research on the vinyl replacement window products Dave sells (he sold us Serious Windows 501 model), and they appear to be well-regarded, and at least on par with the windows Champion and WW sell. Did I mention that Dave hires and trains his own installers and personally oversees all window installs? He let me know that his dad started the company 40 years earlier; Dave started as an installer, learned the biz, and now runs the company. He never uses contractors for installs, and the quality of work shows- the new windows look beautiful. I also appreciated the ability to keep my business "local." For every appointment, and every promise made, Dave was early, and/or right on time. We look forward to doing business with Dave and Nu-View again, when we're ready to install new doors. I realize this write-up probably sounds like and ad, but I hadn't met Dave before this occasion. We are discerning consumers, and had just become so accustomed to disappointment with home contractors/service providers that I felt compelled to sing this company's praises.

Everything was just fine and like it has been always with them. They do great work and everything was excellent. Their price was fair. They do everything just to the do. I would say if you hire them, nothing will go wrong because they are the best.

I sent an email, and Dave called me and came to my house the same day. He ordered the parts and fixed the screen, and came to complete the job on a Saturday. He was very polite and punctual, and my husband and I were very impressed with his work. He did a great job and would definitely use this company again in the future.

I got bids from 6 companies including Andersen windows. The products were very similar but the quotes were not. NuView's product was excellent. I verified that by checking on the manufacturer and the product. Explanations were clear and he didn't mind the scores of questions that I asked. Their clean up was the best I've ever experienced.

The two workers arrived promptly and finished on time. They removed the old windows and cleaned up the living room before leaving. I had and still have a problem with one of the windows sliding closed on it's own but after reporting it once, I decided to live with it. After about 5 years, the seal broke on one of the living room windows and it fogged up. I contacted NuView and it was replaced promptly at no charge. I only contacted one window company so the price is probably fair for what I needed.

We are very happy with the work that was done and the installers were very friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again as we are thinking about replacing other windows. Their bid on replacement windows was comparable to other window replacement companies.

Dave was prompt, responsive, and did not use high pressure sales techniques. Came out to take measurements. Gave us prices for different options we discussed. Work was done on time and neatly. Recommend.

The experience was good. I actually got his name from Angie's List and he had a good feedback from the fact that he would be on the job site installing. The product is a product but the installer makes it work. We had great feedback from Angie's List and that's what made us go with him. He came out, gave me a price for a smaller window that several other people said that they could not do. He had typical type of windows. It was a very good breeded window from all my research. His price was fair. He did only a window. He gave me a price for a set of doors which I would go definitely with him but we are having work done with another company on our front porch so we had to take care about that. Right now it is on hold.

This was the third job Dave has done for me, and it completes the total replacement of all the doors & windows in my 3-level condo. Dave's great to work with--very knowledgeable, completely open & honest about his products--no high-pressure sales tactics, just information so that you can make your own well-informed decision. He's friendly, punctual, and just an all-around nice guy--my cat even rolled right over to let him rub her belly & she's an excellent jusdge of character! Seriously, Dave gave me his estimate, which was on a par with comparable products, and being familiar with the quality of his work (it's meticulous) I had no qualms or questions, and the doors were delivered & ready for installtion in just under 4 weeks. Dave called to set up a day & he arrived right on time with his assistant, and they went right to work. The beauty of Dave's installations is truly in the details--the painstaking leveling (my condo is 30 years old & has settled some), the mitered cuts on the trim, the sealant inside & out, cleaning the glass, vacuuming the floors. Even if you shop around & find another quote about the same as Nu-View, don't be fooled by just the price--Dave adds major value to his business that you won't find at the others, and that's great service, pure & simple.

They did a great job-did the installation in one day and they both look wonderful. They cleaned up, took the old doors away-one stop shopping. I would use them again.

Dave came out and gave me an estimate and showed me a sample of the windows. On time, very professional. He answered all of my questions and never tried to hard sell. His bid was the lowest of the three that I received. Showed up on time and replaced our cracked, non functioning, leaky windows with tight, solid, energy efficient ones. Explained lien waivers and tax breaks to me and did a great job installing the windows. Great service.

Couldn't have been better. I have an odd sized entry door to a detached garage that I had put up a temporary door to since the old one had been beaten by weather over the years and was inoperable. Dave Manser came out and measured to order a custom door (which is why this was more expensive than I had originally guessed) and once delivered, came to install within a few hours. Since this job was to a detached garage, I didn't need to take off work, which was nice as well. Once completed, the team cleaned everything up and took care of what needed to be. Nu-View also maximized the available opening and made sure there wouldn't be any future snags with the tight fitting and lack of space. Overall good experience and will use again if the need arises. All paperwork and documentation was properly handled as well.

First, their price was very competitive as we shopped around before choosing Nu View. The install was wonderful. Not only were they polite and professional, but they were fast, efficient and clean. The windows look wonderful and they even took the time to discuss the tax credit and window operation with me. I will definately use Nu View again and was extremely pleased with the way they did business. Thank you very much.

He was prompt, couteous, and professional. I didn't use him because he didn't have the type of windows I was looking for.

They arrived promptly at 8:30 and started to work. I had removed most of my blinds but was having trouble with one set and they told me to let them handle it. All the windows were in by 10:30 so I could turn the AC back on. Did a great job of cleaning up. They wrapped the windows and were done by 3:00. The owner is very contientious.

Great! Products, installation and overall service was just as previous customers described. Professional, punctual and speedy. When Dave and his crew left you would never have known they we here and did construction except, hey! WOW! we have new windows . Prices were competitive with the big low cost advertising companies but here you get an owner who is hands on. He bids it, he explains it, and he installed it. We love our windows

They quoted me very less than what the others did. They listened to me and understood when I mentioned that I did not want the top of their line product. I did not even ask for the lowest grade, they did it themselves. The quality of work was excellent. They came on the scheduled time. They were very nice and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves.

He was very meticulous about the work and worked late to finish it on the same day. His workmanship and the quality of service were incomparable. He did an absolutely beautiful job for me and the doors look gorgeous.

He did an excellent work for me and I love him. I had used him earlier and was very impressed with him so, I hired him again to replace the windows. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
