They were very prompt when showing up to do the work. Did everything that needed done plus a few little extras. And cleaned up everything. Someone showed up to do a final inspection with me which was great.

They came out while I was away at a convention.  In fact, they called to set things up while I was at the convention.  I explained that the gate to the back yard was locked and I would not be able to open it for them if they came while I was away, but that turned out to be no problem.  They just used ladders to go over it and did tuckpointing over the whole house wherever it was needed.  By the time I got home, they were done and gone and had cleaned everything up beautifully.  They did a great job.  I was very pleased.  The only sign that they had even been there was the slightest bit of red dust in a few places (I had to look hard for it) and the presence of fresh, solid mortar between the bricks.  I couldn't have been more pleased.
I had only the slightest of complaints regarding their getting back to me whenever I called with questions and to set things up.  Before the work was done, I called on a couple of occasions and left messages and it took a second call to get an answer.  That's the reason for the "B" rating on responsiveness, but even so, they did respond and, again, I was very pleased with their work.
I have been a little slow about posting this review.  I nearly forgot to do it, but I rely heavily on reviews by Angie's List members, and I want to do my part as well, so while I had a few minutes this morning, I thought it was time, I also have had six months to gauge how well the tuckpointing has helped to keep moisture to a minimum inside on my plaster walls.  I have had a lot of efflorescence from that moisture, but it appears that the work has nearly stopped that as well.  Now it's time to get the plaster fixed!

It went very well.  The building was in dire need of tuck pointing!  The crew showed up in mass and got the job done in three days. They left no mess outside.  It was amazing.  I would however suggest that they remind the customer to have all windows, etc closed as the resulting dust inside the first floor unit was pretty severe.
Now let me say one more amazing thing about Mirelli.  I had a structural engineer inspect two brick pillars that supported the back porches and the engineer said they were fine.  I asked Mirelli to spot tuck point the pillars.  After Mirelli tested the brick pillars I was told that they were not structurally sound.  I was very concerned about this so I called the engineering firm again and asked for the original engineer to come out and inspect it again.  Well lo and behold this time the structural engineer said the pillars were not safe.  The engineer also said that when he was leaving the office to inspect the pillars again he asked a seasoned co-worker what he thought and the response was "If Mirelli says the pillars aren't safe then they aren't safe." 
If it had not been for the expertise and high ethics of John Mirelli I would have proceeded with the false belief that the porches were safe.  Someone could have been severely hurt using those porches or God forbid worse!  
I am profoundly grateful to the Mirelli crew and John Mirelli for keeping my family safe.  Thank you.   Thank you.

I received a prompt & professional bid within a week of contacting Mirelli Tuck-pointing.They scheduled my job into theirs which took about 3 weeks. I was pleased with their promptness. The day they did the work the two gentlemen that came were very professional, polite, & understanding of my requests. They did an excellent job from start to finish. John Mirelli came out personally to give the estimate and came out after it was finished for a walk through. I am very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Mirelli Tuckpointing.

I needed someone to fix a crack in the firebox in order to proceed with the sale of a house. I had a limited amount of time to get the work done. Everyone at Mirelli's Tuckpointing was professional, friendly and helpful. They communicated with me via phone and e-mail and got the work done before my deadline. 
I was in a bind, and the folks at Mirelli's really saved the day; and they did a great job on the repair. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will use them again in my new home.

Mirelli quoted the project at a lower price than all others who quoted.   Two guys showed up EARLY, completed the work quickly and cleaned up all messes thoroughly.  I honestly don't know what more I could ask for.  Would certainly use again.

The work was performed to a very high standard, and much quicker than we expected. Tuckpointing generates a lot of dust and grit but the team cleaned everything up at the end of each day. They told us that they potentially nicked a Freon line attached to the airconditioning unit on the top floor, and this was proven to be  the case. Mirelli paid for the repair, without us having to pay and claim it back. In all, we were extremely satisfied with the quality and speed of the work, and overall professionalism. Mirelli were not the cheapest bid that we received, but they were well worth it.

Very well.  The two workmen were very professional.  I was especially pleased with how well they cleaned up after the job was done.  They even pulled a hose up to the roof to wask off the mortar dust.

A car ran into the corner of my house causing about five square feet of damaged brick.
Mirelli was easy to work with and did a fantastic job, especially around a curved window frame. There was even a misunderstanding with the city over a permit and Mirelli took the time to straighten that out for me.
They arrived on time, needed nothing from me, and got the job done in about three or four hours. Cleaned up and left.

He did well.  It resulted to re-build the whole thing but it was an excellent job and all is fine since last year.  I?m having them back to do some more stuff for me shortly.   

I got a lot of estimates and his price was not the lowest but it was close to the lowest.   

They did a fine job.

The service went great. Two technicians came out and completed the repairs in 1 day. They went above and beyond for me. They did more work to the chimney than they were required to. They were very courteous and great at cleaning up after themselves. I had no problem scheduling their service. They are a super busy company but they kept to our appointment.
