Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Jeremy responded to me promptly when I called. I was also fortunate, becuase he was a little slower than usual, allowing me to have him do the work within a couple weeks. Jeremy came out and gave me an estimate, which was the most reasonable out of the three companies I had researched. The next time he came he allowed me to choose which stain I would like on the floor and the finish. I really liked that he allowed me to mix a couple colors at different shades to find the one that I really liked! It only took a couple days for him to finish the floors. I did not initially get the 1/4 round done, thinking that I would have my "handy" boyfriend do it, but that did not happen. I called Jeremy several months later and he promptly came out and did the work at the ORIGINAL price that he bid, which I thought was wonderful. I love my floors... people constantly comment on how wonderful they look. I recommended him to a friend that also had Jeremy do the work on pre-existing hardwood and she was also extremely satisfied. In fact, she recently had a company come over to do some carpeting in other areas of the house and the men were saying that they have seen several floors and that hers were some of the best they have seen!

WOW. Jeremy did an outstanding job. He is a true craftsman when it comes to laying a floor. Initially we wanted bamboo he said it would look too busy with oak floors in the bedroom. We wanted hardwood in our kitchen he advised against this. Even though he would have made more money he told us that wood in the kitchen would not stay nice for too long (water and spills). Jeremy was quick, pleasant to work with and the finished product is great - I would hire him again for my flooring needs.

Jeremy did a great job. He put plastic up wherever necessary so everything would not be too dusty. I was really surprised at how little dust there was. It took five days from start to finish. He did a great job, the corners, along the baseboard, it all looks great. We will have him back again.

Jeremy was very professional. The price he quoted me was the price I paid. I got estimates from a fair amount of floor refinishers and this was the most reasonable. He worked with me since I was on a tight schedule for finishing the floors and would only be out of town for 2 days. He was able to start the sanding process before I left and it did not inconvenience me at all. I was very pleased with the final floors. I would definitely use him again.

We picked Jeremy from his rave reviews on Angie s List and were not disappointed from the first day we contacted him. It was noted in his reviews how prompt he was to respond, and when we called to have an estimate done, he returned the call within an hour and actually came out to do the estimate that day. Jeremy is very knowledgeable and skilled at his business. All work was completed by him personally and it was beautiful every step of the way. He always cleaned up each night and kept everything tidy and pretty much dust free. He did a great job covering up some previous damage done to the floor by nails, carpet tacks, and minor cracks. The new floor matches the 35 year old floor seamlessly (though Jeremy pointed out how to tell the difference, you would never know). He was also very helpful in allowing us to do most of the demolition work on the old carpeting and vinyl. The job was kept on task and done on time and at the price promised. You will get a great floor after working with Jeremy!!

Jeremy did a phenomenal job at a very reasonable rate. As others have said, he's definitely a true craftsman who takes great pride in his work. Throughout the job, he had suggestions about how to make things better. For example, he suggested I remove the metal railings at the beginning of my stairway so he could do a better, more even job sanding, which made a big difference. He also custom built a new transition for my back door since the level of the new floor was so much lower than the previous. He saved the upstairs bedroom floor without any repairs! As he said, it's amazing what a sander can do. I highly, highly recommend Jeremy if you're redoing wood floors. He's a one man operation who does incredible work at great rates. He showed up on time every day and clearly knows his work. It's truly only once in a great while you can find someone like this! You won't be disappointed.

Jeremy refinished my two upstairs rooms plus the hallway (468 square feet), as well as replacing a few boards. He did great work, I've already scheduled him to come back and refinish my downstairs floors. I would definitely recommend him.

The work product was very good. The initial contact was pleasant. Since I am out of town, I explained that I had someone who would pick up the invoice and I would send payment. Later, I sent my mother-in-law (a real estate lawyer) over the to the property to check the stain color. She called to express concerns about Mr. Lauck's unwillingness to accept suggestions and directly answer questions. Based on that and her observations, she was not very comfortable with him. A week after the job was completed I received a rather unsettling call from Mr. Lauck demanding his payment. I explained that I had not received his invoice. I suggested that he fax or e-mail it to me and I would process it right away. He refused, stating that he does not do business that way and that "my systems are not his problem". I explained that this was a managed estate and that I required an invoice in order to make a payment. He admitted he had e-mail but did not want to use it. Very odd character.

Hiring Jeremy to refinish our floors was an all around fantastic experience. Scheduling a time for Jeremy to view the work and submit a bid was fast and easy. His assessment of the scope of work quickly inspired confidence, and his bid was by far the lowest of the 3 we received. He unhurriedly explained all options for staining. He scheduled performing the work around when we could be out of the house (the work blocked off our only entrance), giving us clear and accurate assessments of what to expect for a time line. When Jeremy came to do the work, he was not only prompt and easy to work with, but he even stopped by the store on the way and brought us some supplies to help us move our refrigerator, which we had elected to do ourselves. Jeremy does all of his own work, and his attention to detail shows. The floors, which were being redone following storm damage, look better than they ever had and still do, several months later. I recommend Jeremy without reservation.

Jeremy came out to do an estimate promptly. I told him that I was interested in refinishing the upstairs and possibly putting wood floors in the kitchen, and he actually tried to talk me out of replacing ceramic with wood in a kitchen! He gave me a prompt estimate on both projects, showed up when he said he would to do the work, and was extremely patient with me in deciding what kind of stain I wanted. The floors look great. I couldn't be more pleased.
