The team arrived when they said. They finished ahead of schedule. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that they had replaced the flooring thresholds, and also rehung the doors (which we had moved for them). Photo was taken before shoe mould was installed.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience from Champion. Kristen, owner's daughter, was helpful in our selection and pricing. Susan and Kathy in the office were easy to work with in scheduling and billing. Jeff, Saib and Colby were careful, meticulous and professional in the installation, sanding, staining, coating and replacement of baseboards. Highly professional all the way from beginning to end of a very large project over the course of 3 weeks.

I had an outstanding experience with them. They came out at least three or four times. Since, there is a different configuration in some of the rooms, the wood was not the right way and they were able to put lay-in woods so it look like you could not tell anything was wrong. I would consider using them again or referring them to a friend.

Champion was awesome to work with, from beginning to end. The price was comparable to other bids we got, but what made me go with Champion was the dustless sanding option (which was awesome.) The entire upstairs and our stairway were completed in just a few days. The workers were prompt and courteous, and did an impeccable job. We've enjoyed our gorgeous refinished floors for a year now, and it was the most satisfying money we've spent on the house yet! Highly, highly recommend.

I got them on Angie's List a month and a half ago. The employees were great but they have some issues with them. The workers were great.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish. We met Scott at their showroom where we were shown a large variety of different types of flooring as well as different finishes for the different types of wood. We decided on selecting hickory wood. Champion Flooring went out of their way to make up samples of hickory wood in two different finishes for us to get a better idea of which color we liked best. John, the installer, was excellent in picking which boards would look best when installed. We had selected both 3 & 4 inch width boards for added interest which made installation more difficult. The finished product is outstanding. I would highly recommend Champion Flooring. I will attempt to download some pictures of the work in process and the finished product.

Delivery company, Rapid Response, damaged our hardwood floors in 4 areas. They insisted on sending their own person out to fix.
He did fine on 2 areas and poorly in one area in particular. He put the wrong finish on it, about 4 sq. ft. That person cancelled 4 appointments scheduled to finish his work. The delivery company had already paid him. I called all around using Angie's List and most providers wanted to do an expensive refinishing of the entire bedroom floor. Or they had a minimum that was very expensive too. Scott from Champion showed empathy for our situation and came out to take a look. He gave us a reasonable estimate. This is not the type of work they typically do because naturally they prefer more profitable opportunities. But I think he felt a bit sorry for us and the fact that another contractor gave his industry a bad name. The flooring expert came out on 10/26/2015 and did an excellent job. I think his name was John. He obviously was highly skilled and the damaged area looks good now. He was also very friendly and professional. Our entire house has hardwood floors, and Champion will be where I go when they need refinishing.

We picked Champion to give us a bid because they had good reviews on Angies LIst and because our designer recommended them. The owner, Ralph, came out to walk through the house, discuss the project, and give us a bid. I can't say anything about their price relative to other companies because we didn't get any other bids. It's unusual for us not to get several bids but I felt really confident after talking with Ralph that Champion would do a great job and I was right.
This project was enormous and took about three weeks. Everyone we worked with was helpful, nice and professional. They went the extra mile to get our job completed on a relatively short timeline - when the mill the usually use didn't have enough material, Ralph contacted other reputable suppliers that could get our materials in quickly. Kimberly Russ recommended some great products that we are very happy with and was able to explain the differences between product lines. Susan Ing (project manager/scheduling) kept us informed with regular updates on the process and was great about coordinating with other contractors who were repairing the stairs. Corey, who started our installation and was our main go-to man on-site, did high quality work and the end result is beautiful. A few little things needed adjusting at the end of the project, and they came out promptly and took care of whatever we needed.
Our house has needed alot of work and we have worked with numerous contractors of all types. Champion really stands out as one of, if not the best, contractors we have ever worked with. It is the largest and most expensive project we've done and I could not have been happier. For once I was actually happy to pay the bill because I really felt like I got my money's worth. It is definitely the best money we have ever spent on our house.

Everyone I worked with was great from sales through installation. They were on time, professional, and always let me know what they were doing and when. We had one guy come to the house every day even if there were others working so we had that consistency and he was great. The stain guy did an amazing job matching our existing floors. They are not the cheapest but if you are looking for quality and professionalism I highly recommend them.

We were very pleased with the results. We asked that a design be placed in the new hardwood in the dining room, using two different types of wood. The outcome was beautiful. Since they sanded and finished all the floors in place, the color matched the refinished den floor perfectly. You can't tell that the den floor is 20 years old. It looks brand new.
The tile in the bathroom was so expertly laid, that you don't realize that it was not original to the house.
The carpet was installed with no loose spots or rippling even on the stairs, and feels wonderful on bare feet.
Everyone arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. The price was higher than other companies, but the others would have used pre-stained wood, and were not able to refinish the den floor. So I think we got good value for our money.
Ralph, the president of the company, was excellent to work with as was his staff.
The walls in the rooms where the hardwood was laid did get smudged and a bit dirty, but that was easily taken care of with a touch up of paint.
All in all, we were very happy with the results, and would definitely use them again

Guys were prompt and clean. My floors had a lot of pet stains ( from previous owner) that had to be bleached... It's a new house because of my floors!!

It went very well considering there was an issue with a radiator that had to be lifted in order to get the new flooring in the dining room. Saebe (?s/p of name) was great, very knowledgeable and explained/informed me of issues - like my living-room floor cannot be sanded any more due to multiple sanding over the years. He saw that the work was done well and applied the stain to both floors. I also congratulate Mark and Gabriel who were called in to assist with lifting a very heavy radiator - using the hard wood planks that were to become my new floor. I hope I get all the names right because the team-work was something to observe. There was John & Ken - they did the stripping of the carpet & sanding - Dan delivered the wood for the floor that had to sit in my home for a little over a week, and Ryan who put in the floor with Mark and Gabriel's help. I'm very pleased with the finished product, I get compliments from everyone who comes in and I make sure I tell them that Champion Floor Company did the work. Very satisfied and recommend their service for you hard wood flooring needs.
