Paul and his crew do amazing work!! They have great customer service and pay attention to the smallest detail. I had new hardwood installed in the majority of my house, and had the existing hardwood refinished. They did an amazing job of lacing the new floors into the old. As an added bonus, I hired them to paint my kitchen, dining room, and master bath. Saved me so much time, and Jhonas did a beautiful job!! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire them again.

I hired Exotic Floors KC to refinish the wood floors in my home that was being sold in Independence. I now live in California and had not seen the interior of the house in 2 years. My agent suggested that I should have the floors refinished to improve the showing appeal of the house. Based on my memory of what the house looked like when I moved, I figured they just needed a sanding and re-coat. After calling three providers, I hired Exotic Floors KC to do the job. The owner told me they'd do a light sanding and single coat refinish. Which is what they did. Unfortunately, the floors needed more work than that. What they needed was a full sanding, staining and multiple coats of poly. I would have expected that as a professional company in the flooring business, that the crew that did my home would have stopped when they saw the living room and someone from the company would have called me to let me know that the sand and single coat option would not result in a good looking floor. After all, I was trying to sell this house - presentation is important. And they knew that the house was on the market from my initial call with them. Instead, they were more than happy to call me to charge me more to move a piece of furniture that my tenant was unable to completely get out of the way prior to their arrival. To make it worse, a week after Paul (the owner of the company) took my credit card info over the phone, he called me back to tell me he misplaced the paper that it was on and needed to get the info again. (Yeah, that made me real comfortable.....) I feel that this company took advantage of me because I was arranging services from out of town and could not personally verify their work. I would not recommend them to anyone needing floor refinishing.

I had damaged my red oak hardwood floors using an off the shelf floor polisher called Bono. I was in panic mode as the product left a milky looking haze on the floors that I could not remove. I checked several flooring companies for costs and a solution . I reached out to Paul at Exotic floors. He was reasonably priced and understood the problem and conveyed quite simply how his company could Restore my floors. He immediately instilled in me a sense of trust and confidence. I was not disappointed. After Exotic floors completed the job of restoring the floors- I could only say Wow over and over again. They did a phenomenal job. I declared the floors looked better than the original install 5 years ago. I highly, highly recommend Exotic floor. The professionalism, quality of work, cost reasonableness, a dedicated work ethic, attentiveness to detail and a customer's concern rates a 10+. Thank you so very much Paul for doing such an outstanding job. I am appreciative.

Paul was excellent and I would highly recommend his work . His team service was outstanding and it was complete as promised. My wife has a health condition and he went above and beyond to be sure we were not over exposed to any problems . His crew was respectful and they even were able to do A 1/2 bath follow through was also great. I would give 10 stars if possible great job⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Performed the job quickly and efficiently for the quoted estimate. They did a partial floor repair due to water damage and matched it perfectly to the original floor even though it was 12 years old..

Great company for a floor install. I was very pleased with how the installers conducted themselves while on the premises of my home. Price was great, and Paul, the owner, was always available if I had any questions. If you ever decide to have hardwood floors installed at a reasonable price, and great quality work....check them out.

I have been extremely pleased with Exotic Floors. Initially hired for new Hardwoods in 3 rooms and a sand and restain in another area. Prices were by far the most reasonable. Workers were fast, clean and careful. I have since hired them to do spindles and refresh some additional wood floors. I would highly recommend them.

Paul did a fantastic job. We had bids from the other big stores and they were more expensive than everything Paul did. They wanted more for just floor and Paul did so much more than just the floors. We did new floors and spindles and redid the tile on our fireplace. Our home is 100% different and everything looks so fantastic. I highly recommend Paul and Exotic Floors

Exotic Floors KC installed 160 sq. ft. of red oak hardwood flooring in my kitchen. The installer did not speak English well, but he completed the job in one day, and was very polite and professional. I am a semi-perfectionist who does not trust contractors. So, I took off work and watched him install most of the floor. He did a great job on the part I watched him install. He even moved appliances to install wood underneath and then replaced them without being asked to do so. He had to go back and redo part of the area I had not watched him install as the wood was splintered and uneven in some areas. When he finished I was very satisfied. I am only giving 4.5 stars because I did have to have the installer reinstall part of the flooring I had not watched him install. Still, the quality of the work and the professionalism gave me the confidence to hire Exotic Floors KC to refinish the hardwood flooring on the main level of my home.
