Description of Work: Kevin was very responsive, professional, and honest when I requested a quote to have a large area of landscaping beds to be cleaned up and mulched. His bid was a little higher than I expected but he was honest with me and his reasoning behind it made sense. I accepted his bid, and that is where the communication broke down a little bit. Kevin and his crew arrived the next Monday morning, only problem is that Kevin never communicated with me that they were coming that day. Luckily I was home and there were no conflicts with this. Before Kevin or any of his crew came and spoke to me they began tearing plants out of my landscaping without asking me. Fortunately I caught them fairly before they could pull much out, but once again the communication was lacking. Kevin was very apologetic and I have no doubt his heart is in the right place. After that everything went fairly smoothly. The mulching and edging looks great. Some of my taller flowers (daffodils and leaves of lilies) are pretty wind blown because they use leaf blowers to clear out beds. Overall I am happy with the way the work looks and would use Kevin again, I just hope the communication is a bit better.

 + 0 moreExtremely well! Everything was perfectly done Our yard looks beautiful! Kevin and the two men he had with him, Anthony and Jerry, were professional, knowledgeable and extremely hard workers. The guys were here all day and they worked hard and efficient. They didn't miss a thing. They not only did the work I asked them to do, but they went the extra mile and attended to all the little things that I did not ask for, but they saw the need and went ahead to take care of them. All trash was removed; there was not a thing undone. They surely went the extra mile! Kevin, the owner of the company, has a great personality and is a pleasure to work with. He listens, we talked about what I wanted done, he made suggestions----we jointly laid out the plan of action for our yard. Everything was done exactly as planned. We live on a corner lot at the entrance to a subdivision. I am very particular that our yard looks especially nice when someone drives into our area. Kevin and his team made this happen. I highly recommend this company! I wouldn't think of using anyone else for our yard. I've already asked him to come back next year!!!

 + -1 moreThe job was completed just as I was told it would be. They removed 5 trees of various sizes plus the stumps. They cleaned out all the shrubs and plantings around the house and put down new mulch. He kept me informed every step of the way. I definitely recommend.
Description of Work: I rated this company in error before. I contacted 2 companies and one never showed. Mr. Simmons did arrive as scheduled and listened to what I wanted done and offered very good suggestions. He gave me a reasonable quote before he left and I told him I look forward to getting the final proposal. He was very kind and professional and said he had tried to reach me several times.

The crew cleaned up all the material thoroughly and I was quite pleased with the service, promptness and professionalism by the entire team. I don't particularly want to have to remove any more trees, but if I do, I'll call K&S.

Description of Work: My front and back yard needed a clean up and because of erosion. Kevin came over early on a Sunday and we discussed in detail what could be accomplished. Kevin presented me with an estimate & I approved it. Kevin didn't waste any time and promptly started the yard make over putting soil and mulch down. They also planted beautiful perennials and complete a much needed yard/leaf clean up. I am very pleased with the final out come and no longer overwhelmed with the daunting yard clean up .

Description of Work: K&S came to the rescue. I had some lawn work that involved tree and bush trimming that had overgrown, mulching, and just rejuvenation of our lawn area.  + 0 moreThe gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very nice and courteous. He made an appointment for Saturday from 10 - 12. At 12:20, I called the number to find out when he would be arriving. The phone seemed to be passed around to different people then the line went dead. I called back a few minutes later and left a message on the voice mail. I haven't received a return call a week later. If my job were too small for them or he were too busy, I wish he would have been forthright with me so I wouldn't have wasted my morning waiting for someone who had no intention of coming. I do understand that emergencies come up and things happen, but I should have received some kind of contact to that effect by now. I will endeavor to find someone else to help me care for my yard.
Description of Work: I am no longer able to care for my yard to meet HOA standards so I asked K & S to come out and give me an estimate on how to make my front yard low or no maintenance. That would have included adding or removing plants as needed and coming up with a weed control solution. If the front yard went well, I have both side yards and the back that need help also. My house is on a large lot so I have lots of yard to care for.

 + 1 moreVery friendly and reasonably priced. My lawn looks great! They showed up at the time they said very professional and uniformed. They chopped our tree down, removed the stump and roots then laid sod to cover the spot. They removed all of the dead limbs and leaves from the yard, then gave us a nice mow leaving nice stripes in our lawn. Working with K&S Lawn Maintenance was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: Chopped down & removed the roots of a dead tree from my front yard. Patched up the spot with sod and gave our yard a general cleanup.

I was pleased with the professionalism of the entire crew. Once the job was completed Kevin walked with me again to make sure I was satisfied, and needless to say I was!!! I would suggest to anyone calling K&s Lawn Maintenance, even the neighbors asked who we used.
