I knew we needed a new HVAC system because ours was almost 20 years old. I called a major company in the area and after seeing the price, decided we needed a 2nd quote. Jim from Heartland rushed out on a Saturday to provide the estimate. I was very pleased with how knowledgeable and straightforward he was. He was very up front about the fact that our HVAC closet was not large enough for a whole house humidifier. I did not feel any pressure to commit to the large purchase and there were no pressure tactics. After comparing the quote from Heartland with the other company, we called Jim to install. The installation was scheduled very quickly and the team arrived on time the morning of the install. There was a small issue during installation but the Heartland team was very responsive and addressed it right away. I am very happy with the customer service, the expertise of the installers, and the quality of my system. I'm very glad I got a 2nd quote for such a large investment in our home.

When they have come back they have not charged me. The part of my air that's in the attic was making a strange clicking noise. Extremely professional and reliable.

Very reliable and trustworthy company. Years ago, I shopped around when we needed a new a/c unit, and Heartland offered the best value. We have continued to use their annual service contract and have been pleased with the service provided.

Jim and Tom were very thorough in their assessment of my home and current unit. They provided a great estimate and were knowledgeable about codes, and different systems. I did not use them as my fiancé was interested in another company. However, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with hvac needs.

Jim Horlander -- the owner of Heartland Quality Heating and Cooling -- arrived quickly after my phone call. After a careful inspection, he laid out several repair options for us in plain English, as well as pros and cons of each option. We chose to have our entire AC system (external unit as well as internal evap. cooler) replaced. Jim got us a better, more efficient unit than we'd had AND for less money than two other service providers had quoted us. On installation day, the technician arrived late (hence the B rating on punctuality) but was clean, professional, efficient and showed great attention to detail. In fact, when he attached the company's sticker to the internal unit, a small air bubble got trapped under it. Instead of ignoring it, the technician punctured the bubble with a knife tip and smoothed it flat. I'm sure he didn't know that I saw that, but it spoke volumes about pride of workmanship. We will certainly use Heartland in the future, and would recommend them without hesitation.

I can't say enough about Jim and his company. He is knowledgeable and isn't a pushy salesman trying to get you to buy things you don't need. He cares about his work and the people's homes he works out of. He is fantastic at what he does and I will use him from here on out. The price and labor for the part he fixed was literally less than half of the price then the first company we had come out.

It went very well. I will tell all my friends and work with Jim next time my heating and cooling system needs work.
