Very professional from start to finish, all work done as promised, on time and cleaned up very well. I would highly recommend Certified.

The individuals we worked with were very professional. They were punctual and thorough with the installation. The testing they did after the installation showed that the radon levels dropped immediately in our house. We are very satisified with the service that we received.

They promptly came out when scheduled to set up test. Came back two days later to pick up tester. I wanted to discuss venting options and cost of each option. The certified tester could not answer questions. So I scheduled another appointment with I assume the owner of company. I took off work early to make the appointment but the Certified Radon representative could not make it. So scheduled another appointment for a week later. I again left work early and again the Certified Radon representative did not make the appointment and did not call to let me know. Have not heard from the Certified Radon representative since he canceled first meeting. I am extremely disappointed with this company's customer service. I paid $95 for the test which indicated I needed radon mitigation. I will now have to go through this process with another company.

After testing our home for radon, we learned our level was 9.2 p/cL, way too high. Called Mike at Affordable Radon and he was very thorough in the kinds of questions he asked me about our home to provide me a phone estimate, but also made an appointment to come out to see our home to get me a more solid estimate. He came right out, and my husband was at work, and I was impressed at the way he didn't treat me like the "dumb little wife". He explained the possible scenarios that might happen after he determined what was under our basement floor by drilling, and how it would affect the cost. He predicted that due to our floor plan and age of home we would be an "easy fix" and he was right.He charged us the least of the possible estimates he provided. He emailed us a formal contract with estimate prior to doing the work, came out the day he said he would, right on time. That time my husband was home sleeping since he works nights sometimes and he was conscientious about not being too loud. He even swept out our garage before he got started!! He worked efficiently and did a great job. Radon levels now test at 1.4. It worked!

The installation was fine. Although I noticed one of the workers was upset at the other. I later found out from the owner that one of the workers had shown up hung-over and had made some mistakes (which apparently were remedied). The owner was nice enough to offer to paint the radon exhaust pipe for free and to do a recheck for free in two years.

Brian came out for a free estimate and discussion within 2 days of calling him. Mike came the next week to install the system. They were finished within three hours. They were very careful to give us all the options as to where to place it for best appearance in the finished basement and the outside of the house. They were patient, listened well, and worked quietly and cleanly. Mike called for follow-up questions.
