Very good, they were quick to get out here, get me a bid, and get onsite to do the work. Very responsive with my questions and the floors look great! I didn't shop around a whole lot but prices seemed competitive from what I had received so far and what I looked up.

Ownership was very good and helpful when needed. Installers had to repeatedly come out to fix the same thing and were in such a hurry to leave they kept missing spots. Eventually I just said Iâ ll do it myself. BUT all that being said I think they r a good company. Every company has trouble finding 100% good help.

Right off the bat, their customer service (between Joe, Kirsten, and the installers) was spectacular! Joe met with me within a day to spec out my project, dropped off larger samples so I could compare. I changed my mind on the project 3 times, (between carpet, hardwood, and vinyl) and they walk me through everything without a hint of frustration. I highly recommend them! I am in love with my new flooring and believe or not we already have another project lined up with them later in the year. KC Homeworx has been easy to work with and accommodating to our requests. We needed work done in a short time frame and they were able to find a way to take care of us even with their full schedule. We even made a couple of last minute changes to the project the day of installation, and they were happy to make it happen. During this time with COVID-19, when safety is an issue and the cost of many goods seem to be inflated, it is a struggle living on a fixed income and trying to maintain a home. I interviewed several companies for carpet replacement, most said I could not get what I wanted on my budget, KC Homeworx came through for me and it looks great. They were professional, considerate, and took the time to listen to my needs and worked with me, helping me to do a job that was not only affordable it looks great! Thanks for working with me :}

The whole experience has been less than satisfactory. Carpet job was satisfactoryNow, the flooring for the bathroom did not arrive that day, so they were unable to complete the job. I was told I would be called when the flooring arrived to schedule the installation. After several emails, the job was scheduled for Friday. I asked them to call my cell phone to let me know, as we had errands to run. I received another email later that morning that the materials would be dropped off and the installer would be headed our way soon. At noon, I was emailed that they were picking up a new wax ring for the toilet and would be on their way. The installers arrived at 1 pm. My phone call requests were never honored. The two installers began to prep the 4ft 6in by 4ft 4in bathroom with a toilet and a pedestal sink. At 1:50 pm, one of the installers left to go get the wax ring, which I thought was already done. He was gone for 50 minutes. I was called down repeatedly, once to be told the sink would not be pulled, which was in the bid. I was called again. This time I am being shown slight damage to the edges and pieces of most of the flooring. He assured me he could work to cover that up during installation, but wanted to let me know. He said he was going to take pictures of it for his boss. They got the flooring done and I was called to look at the ragged cuts around the base of the sink. He said he could make that look good with caulk and I said Ok, do your best. Next, they are having trouble putting in the threshold. It seems they do not have the right tools. They need a new small drill bit. I go and get my drill bit box and say use what you want. The concrete is apparently very hard. These are not, of course, concrete drill bits. I am not the least bit mechanical, so I am not really the best person to ask. He asked if I might have concrete drill bits. I said well, I have a lot of drill bits, but I do not know so I go get another case of drill bits. Then he asks if I have a corded power drill. So I get him that. After a while, I am called down again, this time to see that they have installed a threshold to the carpet, but are having issues with an overlay threshold, I guess. It kind of matched the flooring and went over the drill bit eating materials. Installer number two has now left. After a bit more work, the floor is finally done. Six and a half hours later, the small bathroom floor is done. By my guess, at least four drill bits were broken, but that is not really the point. How does a specializes in hard surface flooring installer not have all the tools they need? Had I not had tools to borrow, when might the job have been done? Why were the materials delivered in damaged condition, enough to concern the installer about how they would look? And why was the sink not pulled for the flooring as it was included in the bid to be done? This ended up being a two-phase job. The carpet was installed beautifully by two very competent young men. They worked quickly, did a nice job, and were very careful to address any issues. The bathroom experience was bad. A room that size should not take six and a half hours to complete. The installer should know the bid instructions, the materials should be in good order, they should have the tools to do the job. And overall, the communications with the company were not good. Follow up took too long and they refused to address my request to just call me to give me an update. After notifying the company of this pending review, they offered a $50 discount on an $1800 job, with the hopes I would not post the review. To top it off, my mistake not checking to make sure they were licensed in Raymore they are not, so they knowingly did unlicensed work in the City. Based on the overall experience, I would not do business with KC Homeworx again, nor can I provide a recommendation.

KC Homeworx was quick to respond and got to work right away. They are professional and friendly and products are high quality. I would definitely recommend them and would seek them out again for other remodeling projects.

This is a great company to work with! My husband and I are so pleased with our kitchen floor! The price was hard to beat as well. They were here when they said they would be and always answered our calls. I highly recommend them and their wonderful crew for all of your flooring! We plan to use them again in the near future.

I hired KC Homeworx, LLC because they were half the price of their competitors! I took a risk as they are a newer business, but I am so glad I did! They give excellent service and options and although our job was a smaller project, they did not treat us less than. We ended up going with a vinyl tile that looks like real tile. They use great products! Our flooring project turned out exactly how we had hoped! Thanks guys!

Good price. Work was done promptly and professionally. Love the new Carpet in the bedrooms and the stairs!
