Description of Work: We have used Courtney's to install our furnace and AC several years ago, and for the semi-annual maintenance of both units ever since. We have been extremely satisfied - they are easy to get a hold of, service is friendly, efficient and punctual. Great, well-run company!

Description of Work: I used Courtneys Heating Cooling. They repaired a heating problem that I had. The furnace was not working.

Description of Work: Courtney's sent someone to discuss our needs and explain the system and then give us a bid. We were replacing both an old furnace and an old AC system. The salesman was very helpful, took a lot of time and explained everything until we thoroughly understood the system we were selecting and how it worked. The bid was considerably lower than another company gave. The workmen arrived promptly, were helpful and polite and worked steadily. There was no time-wasting or long lunch breaks. They removed the old units and installed the new. This involved using a crane to place the new AC on the roof of the apartment building. They arranged all of this and were present to see that the job was done correctly. After installation we found that the sound of the furnace was quite loud in our apartment unit and so they returned and uninstalled the furnace. They said the noise would reduce if the filter was put in a different position. To do this they constructed some new duct work and then reinstalled the furnace with the filter in its new position. It definitely reduced the noise and we are happy with the result. There was no extra charge for this. I would definitely recommend Courtney's. They are ethical and their workmen really knew what they were doing. We have bought a service contract with them and will continue to use them. Our neighbors were so impressed that they ( who also had an old system) hired the same company and installed similar equipment. They have a good reputation in our building.

Description of Work: As a new homeowner, I didn't know the first thing about turning on the boiler or checking the radiators. With the cold weather setting in, I decided to call a professional, instead of trying to mess with it myself. I called Courtney's and they dispatched someone the same day. The gentleman who came was very helpful and professional. He showed me how to operate and care for our boiler and radiators. After this man left, I noticed a running leak coming from the boiler. So, I called them back. They sent another tech within the hour and, apparently, the water pressure just needed to be adjusted. They did not charge me for the second call and I was really appreciative of this. This was a different tech, and he was also very friendly and professional. I have not had any issues with the boiler/heat/radiators since and am happy with their service. I will definitely continue to use Courtney's for all my HVAC needs.
