Description of Work: We used this company on two separate occassions. It's been a few years, but we had Jeff come out and help finish a couple landscaping projects for us, including lifting up a custom paved patio section that had settled. They do wonderful work. We hope to contract with him again at our new home.

Description of Work: Poured concrete in garage and basement. Did a good job, was quick, and responsive to questions.

Description of Work: They came out and gave us a bid for a flower bed retaining wall in the front and also a retaining wall by our deck along with removal of dirt from under the deck. However, we did not use them as we thought the bids were a little too high for the work to be done. I must say, though, he was very professional and punctual. It just did not fit into our budget at this time.

Description of Work: The representative was professional and answered my questions. Decided not to use at this time.

Description of Work: Removed approximately 50 ft. of RR tie wall. Replaced with very nice landscape |type heavy stone block wall about 2 ft. tall. Poured concrete steps. Looks |nice and is done as agreed.

Description of Work: Fixed back door so it would lock, took old ceiling fan out put new one in had to go and get a missing part to fan, changed batteries in smoke detectors .

Description of Work: They removed all existing plants from my flower bed and planted the new plants that we'd agreed on. They planted a tree in the front yard and mulched everything. He came when they said they would and he was easy to work with. He rearranged some of the existing blocks around the flower bed and hauled some of the ones we didn't need away. He charged me the amount he originally quoted and did not charge me for the work he did on the blocks.

Description of Work: Replaced a portion of a sidewalk and driveway. He did a great job and stayed until all work was completed. This was a bug deal considering materials to be delivered were delayed several hours. No complaints at all.

Description of Work: Just recieved estimate so far. I called and set up an appointment and he showed up on time and was nice. Have not decided on who to hire yet.

Description of Work: Jeff and his crew installed a Stamped Concrete Patio, added steps to existing Wood Deck and relocated the Heat Pump. The work was finished on time and to our satisfaction. We added some additional work and Jeff was fair in the cost of this added work. We will be using again in the future. We would highly recommend Jeff and his hardworking crew

Description of Work: Jeff and his amazing crew have done many jobs for me since moving into my home in 2006 including a couple of jobs for me this summer. The most recent project being work on my master bedroom bath and stairs to my basement. My house was built in the 1910 so every time a project is started no matter what the size it always turns out to be more complex than at first glance. Tile was laid over tile in the shower AND a thin coat of concrete was poured over the shower floor (3 layers-ugh), drain hole had been reducted to the size of a quarter so water wouldn't drain properly, etc. New building codes applied to 1910 construction can also be a 'hair on fire' situation as in the basement stairs which are steep and narrow. No fear Jeff/crew is here! The tear out was through without short cuts, the crew arrived on time each day and worked like the dickens from 7:30 am until COB for several days, they cleaned up thoroughly, respected my property/belongings, problem-solved my 1910 house surprises with imagination / functionality and of course produced an end product that my friends/family oooo & ahhhh over. Jeff and his crew respect/like each other and it shows, etc. etc. etc. Can you tell I'm a big fan. They have never ever disappointed me and I can say without exaggeration that they exceed my expectations in quality, service and price in every single instance. Very rare these days where mediocrity has become the new normal for service providers. Jeff is a small business owner who works as hard if not harder than anyone I've seen and his consistent, quality crew follow his lead. Total over the years I've spent $20-25K with him/crew including leveling/appropriately sloping the backyard, laying sod in entire front and backyard of sod (1/4 acre), planting dozens of trees/shrubs, replacing mulch, pouring a concrete driveway & stamped- concrete front porch, tile in the kitchen-laundry-downstairs bathroom, and now the master bathroom and basement stairs; so I've seen him perform over multiple years and in a variety of 'green thumb and handman' projects - every single time I've been beyond satisfied. EVERY SINGLE TIME - amazing! Jeff is also a wonderful family man who is living his passion and I hope/pray every day that he continues to grow/prosper in every way possible. Thanks Jeff and crew, until the next project? A garage perhaps :)

Description of Work: We had water leakage in our Family Room in the spring and it was determined that the cause was the retaining wall and bad drainage. We called several different foundation companies, but when we called Jeff Watkins with A Handyman & A Greenthumb to repair the retaining wall after it had been removed we found he could do the entire job at a better rate. We were very impressed with his knowledge and eagerness. Unfortunately, the hot weather prevented them from being able to keep the appointment on the date scheduled, but that wax something unpreventable and unseen. Once they were able to get their previous committments completed satisfactorily Jeff called to reschedule and it only took them two days to remove the retaining wall, replace the drainage backing it with gravel, and then adding top soil. My husband had begun another project in the backyard a couple of years ago and had just not had the time to finish it and had actually been waiting to have the retaining wall replace. We had several big mounds of dirt piled up in the yard which created a very ugly sight. Jeff and his crew removed those mounds of dirt with no extra charge. They also built an flower garden on out from the retaining wall for us. When they left the back yard was clean and the job was done very professionally. We would definately call them again and would sure recommend them to all our friends.
