Very nice person that was sent out, look outside and inside at the air conditioning, check everything , all hoses were not stopped up, repaired hoses where needed and even washed out the air conditioning. I know this will be the company I use for a long time to come.

Greg Sperry, the owner of Best Air Heating and Cooling, came to our house for this inspection. He was a few minutes late for his appointment due to a traffic jam on his route, but he called the house and let us know. Greg is personable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He does not mind the homeowner tagging along and will explain what he is doing. It's hard to believe that the $69 cost includes TWO inspections, spring and fall. I would expect to pay that much or more for a single inspection. I highly recommend both Greg and Best Air Heating and Cooling. I know if I did encounter any problem with my HVAC system (doubtful with these inspections), he'd be the first person I'd call, for his reliability, knowledge, and trustworthiness.

When he open the door to the furnace he seemed to be unsure of what the codes meant on this American Standard unit, even though there is listing of what the codes indicate. He decided that the furnace was probably okay, but it could be the thermostat, so he replaced that with my permission. I thought it was rather expensive $159.00, since I had already paid through Angies List the service call, but with no heat and a wife in a hospital bed at home we needed to get this repaired quickly. Very nice, polite guy.

Greg was great! He came out the same day I called regarding a heating issue. My furnace was not kicking on all the time, and it was causing the house to get cold. I would have to manually restart it. Greg met me at my home at 5:00 pm and checked my furnace. He told me the furnace and the sensor were covered in drywall dust, I just went through a basement remodel, and it was causing the sensor to not always work like it should. He cleaned everything, retested and everything has been great since. I signed up for their twice yearly furnace and a/c checks and services for $149 a year. He is great! I am so happy I found Best!

I had previously purchased Best Air's Angie's List Big Deal for fall furnace checks - which was used on a different rental property. This time, I got a call from a different renter - no heat! Fortunately it wasn't bitter cold that day, but since I was out of town, I called Greg at Best Air, and asked if he could help me by visiting this property and taking care of my renter. No problem - will be there in an hour he said. And he was. I told him the symptoms sounded like a bad electronic igniter, which had also been replaced a few years ago, and we discussed estimates, with an up to $250 go-ahead approval. He diagnosed the furnace problem, and accomplished the fall furnace checks on this unit at the same visit. It was the igniter, and his bill came in right on estimate. The service went fine; it was good. Because of the holidays, we kind of had them move the appointment a couple of times, but they came out right after the New Year. There were a couple of parts that needed to be replaced and I went ahead and replaced my humidifier. The Deal was great, but I ended up spending a few hundred dollars more than I had anticipated, but I felt that he was trustworthy and I felt like it were things that needed to be done. Everything is great. I felt like he seemed very reliable and trustworthy. The service call was a great Deal.

The service went great. The technician did a phenomenal job. He completed the job in a timely manner and did a thorough job. He was happy to show me what he was doing. He even pointed out some things about my furnace and cleaned it very well. He also saved it from burning up and probably put about 5 more years on it. It was very easy to schedule the deal.

I bought the furnace check up and it all went very well. He came out and took a good look at the furnace, taking things apart and cleaning them, putting it back together. He said things looked good and didn't try to up charge me. He took time and didn't seem to rush. I am sure I will be calling him to make sure my air conditioner is working well in the spring!

The guy came over and was able to fix the air conditioner. The problem was that there was a leak, but they were able to fix it fairly quickly. They had the hose in their truck so there was no delay. I don't recall the total cost, but was happy to have the repair done so soon.

He came on time. He was personable and he showed me everything I needed as far as what possibly could go wrong in the future. I had a thermostat that needed to be put on also. I would recommend him.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal in early Dec 2014. ($39 for a 22-Point Winter Furnace Inspection and Cleaning). Apparently, the provider and I suffered from a hiccup in the Angie's list communications, as he couldn't understand why I didn't reply to the Angie's List email he sent me, but on the other end, I was wondering when I'd hear from the provider. I never did receive an email from him thru the Angie's List service. Then comes the holidays, and all the hectic schedules that consume one's attention, and a few days easily turns into a month. The owner, Greg Sperry, contacted me on 12/29/14, and we determined the communication hiccup. We set a service date for 1/6/15, at 0800. He told he'd call on the way to appointment so I could meet him at this rental property. He called at 07:45 to let me know he was enroute to the appointment, and was waiting for me when I arrived at exactly 08:00. I explained that this old furnace had been maintained by me for last 8 years, but I've had the pilot go out for what seemed like no reason. I'd already changed the thermocouple probe, and made what seemed like appropriate adjustments. He found the gas control valve internal mechanism not moving freely, so we replaced that valve assembly, and I believe we have found the solution. He offers a 20% discount for seniors and veterans, so I got to save a pretty penny on that pricey valve assembly! He also offers a very good deal on an annual service package - going from memory here ... $149 for both fall and spring service on your unit, and no service call charge if needed during the year (business hours), no premium charge for night or weekend calls, and 10% savings on parts. Total cost for my service about $400.

He was on time and ready to go. It checked out a few things and cleaned out everything. He thought it could be a few things and went and got the parts. It ended up being the circuit board and a sensor. He completed the repairs quickly and was very professional. We ended up going with an annual service plan with him as well.
