They called me right back and they arrived promptly. They were very professional and didn't try to take advantage of me. He called me right back and They were fair and honest and I would highly recommend them.

The installation went well and the sales person was very nice to work with. We were satisfied with their services overall.

They were prompt. It was late October when we came home from a trip and found that our furnace was down. They came out fairly quickly. They were able to get a new furnace in right away. The out of pocket cost was the deductible of $500 from the insurance company. Otherwise the bill was about $2500. They were very responsive.

I received an estimate for a new furnace and when I contacted the sales person the next day to let him know we were ready to go ahead, he told me he had made a mistake on the original estimate and would have to add $500.00. I contacted the sales manager about this problem who assure me this is not how they do business but after reviewing my estimate, he also said the price would have to be increased. When I asked about the Angie's List discount, he said it did not apply because we were getting a new furnace put in, which is not considered to be a "service or repair" as listed on the coupon. When I asked if he could match a competitor's discount, he actually said, "Just as it seemed unethical for us to increase the pricing once we had given you a proposal,[which they did] I consider it unethical to reduce pricing after a proposal has been given." It seems they are only guided by ethics when the result is in their favor.

Pleasant and punctual salesperson provided an accurate estimate for the replacement of an 80+ year old boiler. The final price of installation was cheaper than two other estimates we obtained. The installers were knowledgeable and took the time to explain how the unit works. They also patiently answered a lot of my technical questions which were really not that practical but left me feeling much better about the purchase. The quality of work (fittings, electrical, etc) appears to be good. There was a problem with the boiler remaining continuously in the 'on' position initially that resulted in the house being 79 degrees (instead of the desired 64 degrees) the following day. Snelling Company sent someone over the same day they were notified of this malfunction. Though the problem was very simple to fix (it basically involved a crossed wire from the thermostat), it did require a fair amount of trouble shooting. My only critiques of the entire process was that the salesperson could have been more informative/up-front regarding some aspects of high efficiency boilers (for instance, the need for a place to drain the condensate) and it seemed that a relatively inexperienced apprentice was installing the exhaust vents. No damage was done, but he must have had to ream the hole out two or three times until he got it right. Nonetheless, I am overall very pleased and can without reservation recommend the Snelling Company for boiler installation.

I appreciated the fact that the salesman didn't "talk down" to me and in addition to "selling" me, also explaining to me/teaching me what I needed to know about the options I had. He didn't "oversell" - and he answered all my questions directly. Although their price was a little higher than my other estimate, I felt comfortable that this was the right decision. The installers were professional and friendly. They were considerate of my time and space and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up after themselves which left the area cleaner after they were done!

They did a very good job! They were efficient, helpful, and informative. The workers were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The air duct cleaning went very well, as their system was more powerful than your average company. The man was very thorough and did an excellent job. He even checked the air quality in our home, which has increased significantly. He was here for four hours, doing an in-depth cleaning of my vents. We were very pleased with all the work completed.

Experience was terrific from the time Bob Webber called to set up the initial appointment until he called again immediately after the work was completed to see if I was satisfied. Bob provided several options in the estimates and provided excellent advice as to the pros and cons of each option helping me to arrive at the most cost effective solution. The installation crew was professional, competent and very careful to prevent any carpet or wall damage as they hauled the old furnaces out and brought in the new.

I was having a problem with the interior part of my central air conditioning icing up, plus the air conditioning and heating system was due for preventive maintenance. My past experience with the air conditioning icing up was that it was always due to a loss of refrigerant, so when the technician came I didn?t mention it since I just assumed he would check the refrigerant, and add what was missing, and that would solve it. But, when I looked at the final work order there was no indication the refrigerant was checked. So, I mentioned the icing of the air conditioner and how this had always been due to a loss of refrigerant in the past. He said the air temperature tested accurately and that the icing was probably from backpressure in the ducts due to the air flow being restricted by the furnace filter or too many dampers and vents being closed. I insisted he check the refrigerant and he said it would cost extra, and I said that was ok. He went to check it and came back in a few minutes and said it was fine. Over the next few days I bought a less restrictive furnace filter and adjusted the dampers and vents, but there was no improvement. The air conditioning continued to ice up. So, I called them back and told them I was still having the same problem and to send someone to check it, but not the same person who came the first time. When the technician arrived, I explained that the air conditioning was icing up and in the past this had always been from a loss of refrigerant. He said that was his first thought, too. He checked the refrigerant, found it to be low, and added two pounds.

Went great. Came the same day I called.

We called for an appointment on 7/22/09 and were told Mike would be out the next day between 8 a.m and Noon. Snelling Co. called at 7:50 a.m. the next morning and asked if they could send Mike out now. That was extremely courteous. Mike was there by 8 a.m. and went right to work. He was clean, friendly and knew what he was doing. He listened to us first, as we explained the problem. Mike said it was probably something simple like the fuse and that's exactly what it was. He replaced both fuses and washed out the condenser unit, which was full of cottonwood fluff. He showed us what he was doing along the way and how to open up the wall unit to get at the fuse box. There is a trick to it which we couldn't figure out. He checked the furnance and gave everything the once over. We were very impressed and will definitely have Snelling out in the fall to check out the Aprilaire humidifier on the furnace.

Everyone was very professional. From the salesman to the installers. They arrived at the scheduled time and were done in just 2 hours and cleaned up after themselves. I'm very happy with the overall service.

My air conditioning was going and was close to 20 years old. Four contractors submitted bids with different units. Only Snelling recommended a high efficiency model which qualified for the stimulus tax credit. With this credit, we were able to get a high efficiency unit for the same price as a regular one.

The service man, Michael, was on time, courteous and friendly. He looked at the pipes and wrote up an estimate. When I decided to wait a few months to get the work done because I just got my hours cut at work, he was pleasant and agreed that since it was not an emergency, that option was viable. I will definitely call Snelling Co. back to do the work in the future.

Very fast, professional. I called at 8am, they were here and gone by 9:45am. Recommend. Only thing is he did not give an estimate before he did the work, but it wasn't too much and I had to have it done, so not a huge issue, but would have been nice to know.

Have used Snelling in the past for home work; so, I asked them to bid on the installation while bidding out the garage construction. They were within $50 of the lowest bidder. Gave them 20% deposit and they ordered heater. They installed the gas line when shell of garage was complete. Then they waited to install the heater unit until the contractors had finished the drywall. It turned out to be 14-months before the drywall was installed (contractor bids for drywall were too high and chose to do drywall myself). Without even the smallest hint of irritation, they called every 3-months to ask nicely when I would be ready. When I finished enough drywall for heater to be installed, I called and they were there the next day to finish the installation. When one of the workers was being very rude, I called the sales rep and he was out within the hour to replace the worker (with sincere apologies). I have to say that Snelling is one of the finest professional organization in the Twin Cities.

The representative came out when he said he would and promptly gave me an estimate. I was pleased with the service.

There were some problems with my PVC pipes that had no primer. Snelling made sure they could approve the material being used with primer already included in it. I do not think they followed through with the follow-up. It took two and half months to finish it. They normally send two people but one was sick. The person they sent was fairly new with the company and he was not fully versed in the intricacies of the furnace he was putting in. There was someone else sent that had to explain and instruct the new guy on how to put the new furnace in. The furnace is currently working properly. I will possibly use this company in the future, but at this time I am unsure.

It went okay, not great though. The salesman was responsive, but a little pushy. He included things like a thermostat, cap and seal of my chimney without really asking me if I wanted that. He was prompt and responsive though. The installers were also prompt, but almost rude. They had a real attitude, like they were doing me a big favor taking precious time out their day to install my furnace. They were annoyed that they had to get a 'kit' for the furnace and just annoyed in general to be there. They left with hardly saying a word. They didn't explain my furnace at all. They wouldn't even take the time to let me pay them. They said they would bill me. Then the salesman called me annoyed that I hadn't paid them. Thank goodness, I found the manual down by the furnace and read it or I wouldn't have know that turning my thermostat below 60 invalidated the warranty (which I normally had done and had mentioned to the salesman). However the furnace has worked well so far. I haven't had any problems with it.

Our old forced air furnace sounded like an airplane taking off. It was late in the afternoon. I called another company(who had left a sticker on the furnace a few years back). I left a message on their voicemail but I was not sure they would call back. I looked at Angie's List and recalled I had Snelling come out to do routine maintenance on the furnace, so I called them. A pleasant woman answered the phone and said someone could come out for $129, as they were charging evening rates at that point. I made an appointment for the next day for $69 but had second thoughts as I thought the furnace might break down by morning. So I called Snelling back, and they said someone would be out within the hour! They called back shortly afterwards and the same pleasant fellow who had done maintenance previously appeared about 20 minutes later. He putzed around and figured out how to stop the noise. Hooray! He also reminded me that last time he was out he told us we were living on borrowed time with the age of the furnace....My husband thought the $129 was a bit high but I was thrilled to have the noise gone!

Our furnace stopped working sometime during the day and we had to make an emergency call for repair. Called the emergency phone number and service man immediately answered and was at our house in 20 minutes! The three other places we called either had us leave a message on a generic voicemail, or couldn't come until the next day and it was below zero outside. We ended up having a faulty connection in our furnace, which he fixed and also answered a bunch of questions from us regarding costs of a new furnace, water heater and ac unit. Also taught us how to check the connections in-case the problem happened again.

Great job, very neat and orderly. Pleasant workers and they took pride in the installation.
