It didn't!! After two weeks of nothing, I called back and was told that while their representative had been in my area, he had been unable to reach me, and so unable to perform the service. I told her that I hadn't received any messages from anyone from their company. Laughing, she told me, 'Oh, well you know men, they just don't like to leave messages. I asked him to, and he just said "that he would connect with you sooner or later." I told her that since I am rarely sitting next to my phone, I would need him to do this so I could schedule this appointment. She sounded like this was the end of the world and said "Well, I'll talk to him" I heard nothing, and so called back this past week - 4-5 weeks after my initial call. This time, I was told that they had been so busy, they just had not had the opportunity to make it to my house. I asked if I could please make an appointment. The woman said "We don't make appointments". She then asked "Would you like to go to someone else?" I replied "If I wanted to go to someone else, I wish I would have done it 5 weeks ago - I don't want to go through this again and end up on the bottom of someone elses list." She told me that she was anticipating they would be at my house next week but wouldn't be sure until she talked about the schedule with 'the guys'. And I said ok, get here next week then. I received a voicemail yesterday saying that she was sorry, but they just weren't going to be able to do the inspection she sold me on at the end of June. I believe what happened here is that I asked them to be professional, leave a message and/or schedule an appointment, and they didn't want to do that. I find this to be horrible customer service. I am a returning customer, she had told me about this inspection, rather than pump, and it was only when I asked for something as small and simple as a message or appointment, that all of a sudden, they simply could not perform the service I was told they could.
Description of Work: I have used C&B in the past to pump my septic tanks as required by Washington County every three years. This year, I got the reminder card from the county reminding me that this was my year, so I called C&B again at the end of June. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful and informed me that all I may need is an inspection that was only $100 as opposed to $300 for pumping the tanks. If the inspection showed that pumping was required, they would apply the $100 to the pump fee. I said that sounded great, and she said they didn't make appointments for this service, but that someone would stop by to do it in the next week or so. She asked if I needed to know when they were coming, and I said yes, as I have a fenced yard/driveway, and dogs.
