Description of Work: All responses were in a timely fashion and the work performed was excellent Spartan built a 14x20 deck in cedar around my above ground pool. Both Mike and the workers that did the install did a great job of communicating the process as well as answering all my questions. Would definitely hire again

Description of Work: We did not use the service, but had an estimate done. I never fully understood what the price was for and how that included their coupon. Painting 2 hallway walls was going to take 4 days with their offer. Then the trim and doors for a hallway were over $3,000. So he asked to look into replacing the trim and doors because it would be about the same price. I had already done the research and had several estimates done, so knew what it should cost. My small linen closet alone was $800. This fairly small project would have taken over 14 full days with their coupon. I felt like I was pretty ripped off. All of my other estimates were more then half that cost.

He renovated a front porch that needed rotten boards replaced, and the remained stained and painted. He was quick, thorough, and acquainted me with my options as we went along. He also took down a heat wire that had come loose of its clippings, and coiled it neatly on the deck. When I purchased the wrong product, he went back and purchased the right one. Communications with the office were also superb. Spartan deserves its Angie's List A rating, and I would recommend this company wholeheartedly to anyone.

+ 0 moreIt went really well. The painter who came out did a good job. It was finished within the 8 hour period. There were just a couple little places I wish I had filled in with puddy. Other than that I thought it was a real good job. He was very professional, friendly and easy to talk to. I think their prices are pretty reasonable and I will be hiring them again. Over all I was very satisfied and happy.

+ 0 moreThe front door of my house was kicked open on a Saturday around 6 AM. I called Mike around 7. Even though he was booked for the day, he found a way to send somebody over to take a look. Mike gave me some great advice for how to save money on my project, which I really appreciated since it was an unexpected expense around Christmastime. The project itself went very well. Two guys came out, helped me pick out a new door, and installed it. They went as quickly as they could to keep my house from getting too cold, and it came out looking perfect. Overall it was a very positive experience.

+ 1 moreThe project entailed drilling in the basement walls to set up a drainage system. A hole was drilled in the basement floor to install a sump basket. The interior wall then needed to be reconstructed - sanding, priming and painting. In the process of drilling the sump basket hole, workers hit a footing that was not supposed to be there. The hole had to be repaired and a new one drilled in another location. Even with this problem, work moved forward and the project was successfully completed.
Description of Work: Waterproofed a basement area that had some water leakage from outside groundwater.

+ 4 moreProject was extremely well done from the diagnosis, removal of damaged floor, shower surround replacement and installation of ceramic tile flooring. The time of the project estimate to project completion was all done within three weeks. Appropriate materials were selected that were not too costly, but of good quality.
Description of Work: Demolished damaged floor, repaired plumbing, replaced the shower surround, installed ceramic tile flooring for a basement bathroom at my Lauderdale, MN townhome.
