Got 4 estimates to replace my furnace and air conditioner. G&H was best price by far. Michael did the complete install by himself in about a day and 1/2. There was a problem with the selinoid for the AprilAire humidifier and Michael spent as much time as needed to correct, very responsive. I recommend G&H both for their quality of work, responsiveness and price.

Our furnace went out Saturday morning and I noticed he was close to our house and had Saturday hours. I called and left a message, he called back that morning. He came by, but couldn't get the exact module part until Monday. He was, however able to put a module that worked temperarily in so we had heat all weekend. He even called first thing Monday morning to check on how our heat was. He came by that evening and replaced the module with the correct one. He was quick, effiecient and friendly. I would use him again when necesary

I left messages with several heating and air shops. Michael was the first to respond and meet with us. He gave us the lowest bid and was able to do the work promptly. He worked long hours and took few breaks so we wouldn't have to be without heat overnight. He followed up and gave us all the necessary paperwork so we could take advantage of rebates and tax incentives. I don't believe anyone else could have been more responsive or done a better job at the price he bid.

Will use him again. Will recommend him to others

Recently had G&H Heating install a new furnace, 95% AFUE. It is a 2 stage unit and I am very satisfied with the operation and quietness of it. My old furnace of 24 years was considerably noisier and in need of repair. Michael worked out a schedule to get me taken care of as soon as possible because my old furnace was not in working order and the weather was getting colder. He showed up when he said he would and I had a new furnace by the end of the day. He also rolled out tarps from my front foyer to the basement so as not to mar or dirty any carpet or flooring. I had several estimates, some higher and one lower. However I feel I picked a competent installer and his knowledge of his trade is very good. He also checked for any gas leaks and replaced several old fittings. He is friendly, informative, polite, and will answer all questions and concerns.

He called me back immediately after I left a message and we agreed on a time for him to come by and look at my furnace. He was very courteous and called me on Saturday morning before coming over. He came by early on a Saturday morning to determine the problem. It was determined I needed a new curcuit board for the furnace before any other trouble shooting could occur. He told me to keep the furnace off until the repair was completed. He ordered a new board for the furnace on Monday and came over on Tuesday to install it. He told me he had to also clean the burners as there was some corrosion which likely caused the CO detector to alarm. He tested the CO levels on the furnace when he was done and I had heat on a very windy cold day in late October. G&H does a great job, if you are looking for a reliable HVAC repair company. I plan to use them again in the future to perform corrective work on the duct work in my home.

He was just amazing. He came highly recommended and he had good feedback. He was on another emergency so he walked my sister through what to do before he could get there and he didn?t charge us for that. The work got done, the work was done properly, he was a delight to work with, and he came nowhere close to overcharging. He?s been around for a lot of years and it?s a small, local business. The price was way less than what we anticipated. A lot of places will charge you for extra travel time but he didn?t charge us anything for when he had to go back and get a part. It was a wonderful treat to find him and we recommend him.

He figured out what the problem was right away and immediately fixed it. He also gave me additional advice about other home maintenance issues. I appreciated his concern for both efficiency and the environment.

We had a gas leak at the back of our dryer and he came and replaced the valve and extended the pipe down so that we could move the dryer out easier and futher. We had called him on Thursday and he said he would try to come on Friday, but was too busy so he came on Saturday. He charged us for parts, trip, and labor.

I think he does quite good work. I had several bids and he was right there among all of the bids for the furnace. It ultimately came down to the fact that the last time he did work for me he did a good job and charged a reasonable price. He did an excellent job and did it all in one day, I have no complaints at all. I paid a little bit more to get a better quality furnace.

Our furnace had stopped working and it was 58-degrees in the house. We called G & H Heating and he was there within a half hour. He knew exactly what was wrong and set about to fix it. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. We would call him again.

Furnace failed after business hours. It was cold but not freezing, so I was willing to wait until the next day for service. Michael was out on a call and offered to take a look on his way home. He diagnosed the problem, and was able to manually run the furnace long enough to warm the house. He came back the next day with the part needed and quickly repaired the furnace.

Furnace went out on a cold day, and Michael came out same day to diagnose and repair. He got it working again after codes indicated there might be some blockage in the venting. The furnace stopped working again right away, so Michael immediately returned although on the way to another job to try again. After further inspection, he couldn't find an obvious cause for the problem, but he put a temporary fix in place that would keep the furnace up and running. The next day, it occurred to Michael that the problem could be due to a cracked heat exchanger, which would mean the furnace would be venting carbon monoxide. Michael immediately called us and arranged to come back out to check for CO, at no additional cost to us. His guess was correct and we needed to immediately replace our furnace. We were obviously very happy with his proactive response and continued interest. We would have gone with G & H for the furnace replacement because his prices were also competitive, but he was going out of town and was unable to install when we needed to.

Mike was great. He identified the problem right away and fixed it. There was no question about what the problem was or how to fix it. The repair itself was quick and painless (at least for us it was.)

Mike quickly and professionally solved a problem that another company wanted to just keep replacing parts for. He pinpointed the problem and cost a fraction of what the other company planned to do. Mike has his own business, and I've found it always is better to directly hire the person doing the work instead of paying for their overhead. Mike was a great find, an honest and professional person who puts the customer first and goes out of his way to save the customer money.

I came home 5:30 pm and found the furnace not working. House temp down to 60 degrees. Since outside temp was 16 degrees, I was hoping to find a repairman before nighttime. I called and gave a brief description of the problem; he told me what the base charge would be to come out and said he could be at my house a little after 7 pm. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem right away, told me what the total charge would be to complete the repair, and I agreed. I felt it was more than a fair price, especially since it was after hours. He had a replacement motor in his truck and promptly went about replacing the motor. By 9:30 pm, my house was cozy and back up to a normal temperature. He was very professional and pleasant and I was very pleased.

They were prompt, did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process, and the price was reasonable.

The serviceman arrived promptly when contacted and gave an estimate. The day he did the work he arrived on time and was very efficient. He fixed the problem and cleaned the area well.
