Description of Work: I purchased a coupon through Angie's List which stated that for $80.00 I would receive a free inspection of my AC unit plus $40.00 or $45.00 off any repair (I forget which). After the initial inspection I scheduled the repair for the following week. When the technician came out to the house he charged us the full amount for the repair and did not give us the promised discount. |I have been in contact with Mike's Custom Mechanical on several occasions asking to be reimbursed. Each time I have been told that they are sorry and will send me a check. But the reimbursement has never arrived.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a Whole Home Humidifier for $299 on August 11, 2014. The deal said the company would contact me in 2 days, which it did not. I reached out with another email on August 18, a week later, to check on the status. I also called the number for the company but no one answered. It is now more than 2 weeks and I have not received one response back. I'd rather not do business with a company that does not respond in a timely manner if this is any indication of the quality of work.

Description of Work: I bought the hvac cleaning safety inspection as requested by Amanda. Book appt for tech to go out. I called for a phone follow up and sent a message thru the Angie's list app and finally Amanda responded back saying the furnace is red tagged cannot be serviced. Then she responded she will provide me an estimate for replacement for furnace still havnt received a response from them if an stun ate was sent or not. Not sure if I will even get reimbursed for the deal I purchased since no safety inspection was performed. Still waiting in a call or reply back from the company if I can apply the deal towards another property or get a refund.

Description of Work: I have been trying to contact this company since purchasing this on Angie's List. First, I left a message and they never called me back. Then, I was able to schedule the service, but they never showed up, and when I called, the guy's mailbox was full. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this VERY UNRELIABLE provider.

Description of Work: After examining my furnace, the technician told me I had serious issues and needed to replace my furnace. They, of course, could perform this service. I called another HVAC company for a second opinion without telling them about the problem. This is the company I have historically used for my furnace inspections. After completing the inspection, I was told everything was fine. I even probed a little, asking about the alleged issue. They saw no such problem. Not sure if it was the technician or the company's direction to the technician, but I was very disappointed.

Description of Work: Mike's Custom Mechanical came out during the winter. We had issues with our heater and they came out quickly and it was the weekend to boot. They fixed the heater which is a big deal in a Minnesota winter. Cost was ~$200.
