Very prompt, very professional, explained the problem and the planned repair.

Mike was very professional, friendly and helpful. Luckily there were no issues to be addressed. My air conditioner is old but he said it runs well. He offered to put in a new thermostat as mine was very old and touchy, for a good price, and I wish I had done it as it failed to work while I was out of town and I had to have it replaced anyway at a much higher price (by another provider, during the heat wave so we had no choice).

Called in the morning and Mike came out that evening. Was able to fix and clean my A/C unit right on the spot. Great job and a very fair price!

The tech was prompt and polite and thorough.

Inspector was friendly and inspected and cleaned boiler.

He did the work as far as I know. We have not had any problems. He came out right after I bought the big deal. He checked everything and said that it was all okay. He came when he said he would and did what he said he would do. I would use them again.

They were here within an hour of calling and had it fixed in no time. I felt that for the first time in years I wasn't getting ripped off my a repair man. I will definitely use them again.

We went through our home warranty to have Mike's repair a valve that had broken on a radiator. Initial scheduling was prompt and flexible--they had a guy out right away, at the time that worked best for us. He wasn't able to make the repair because he didn't have the proper part. After that, scheduling was trickier. After 1-2 cancelled appointments, we tried to work with the front desk to get anyone out to our place, with no such luck. It seems there were some unforeseen circumstances, but the reality is that it took from 10/26 (when Mike's first guy came) until 12/8 to actually get the repair made. The real plus: Jamie, the guy who ultimately performed the repair, was extremely professional, careful, and informative. He wanted to make sure that I understood exactly what he was doing. I learned a lot about how the (old) heating system in our home works, and how to make routine adjustments without having any pipes explode. He was also willing to come out on a Saturday to fit our schedule. Simply above and beyond--I only wish we had felt the same level of service from the front desk. I will use them again just to work with Jamie.

This was an insurance claim and Mike's Custom Mechanical was very helpful and supportive in working with the insurance company. I would highly recommend them for this type of work.

He was very flexible. The guy did a lot of repairs that time and he was not too complaining when I didn’t t pay him on time. I paid late by a month and he was not too worried about that. He was pretty good with the work. I had the impression that cheaper companies were out there but they were fine.

They were quick and convenient. They were reasonably priced. They got it going. The overall experience was good. They got us what we needed to get.

We had had someone else look at the A/C to tune it up. They thought the compressor motor was blown. Mike found out that two terminals had gotten dirty and shorted, and a capacitor needed replacing. He spent quite a bit of time diagnosing the problem in 90+ deg. heat, and he came back later in the evening to swap out the capacitor. He's excellent. He had also installed a gas stove for us earlier this year with excellent diagnostic and installation service.
