We had checked out several other flooring companies before deciding to go with Above All Hardwood Flooring. Even though the other companies quoted a slightly lower price we did not feel that they answered our questions or concerns adequately. When we arrived at Above All Hardwood Flooring's showroom we were greeted by Gary who did an excellent job in answering our questions. One of our concerns was how to allow for a wheelchair to easily transition between/over varying heights in thresholds. All questions about the company and installation process were answered clearly and without hesitation. We are very appreciative of how Gary, Susan and the rest of the staff went out of their way to accommodate our particular needs. Over all the installation went well with only a couple of small bumps in the road which were immediately and effectively taken care of. We are very pleased with the way everything turned out and we would definitely use them again.

The project went well. It is nearly impossible to distinguish between the existing flooring and the new flooring. They took pains to tape and plastic off the rest of the house to help contain the dust. They had some staffing issues and did everything they could to complete the job on time and kept us notified of any changes.

Very bad experience. Coating peeled and released randomly one to two weeks after application. They claimed there must have been a something previously applied to the floor that interferes with adhesion. If this is a potential risk, they should have done a spot test before doing entire floor. in repsonse, they offered to spot try a cleaner and then recoat. They cancelled that appointment and would then only offer to completely sand and refinish for $3000!!! No way would I trust them to do a much more complex job. Overall very unprofessional and they did not appear to be very organized in internal communication and coordination.

Every phase of the installation went smoothly - from the delivery of the wood to finishing. Gary was my main contact person during installation and was very responsive to emails and phone calls - he even answered a couple calls well past normal business hours when I was expecting to leave a message for the next morning. The floors turned out gorgeous and I am very pleased. The workmen cleaned up after themselves, called to let me know arrival time, etc. Everyone in the company was very patient with me because I get worried and fussy during a household upgrade with an outside contractor. I am extremely pleased and would highly recommend this hardwood flooring company.

They were able to send someone over a couple hours after I called to provide an estimate. They were very considerate, and sent an estimate by e-mail the next day. We were happy with the responsiveness, though the price seemed a bit high. Their measurement of square footage was higher (500) than what we got from one other vendor (375) for the same space, so that probably explains the price difference (~$2,000 vs ~$1,200). Not sure who is right.

After finding Above All Hardwood Floors on Angie's List, I made a visit to their showroom on a Saturday afternoon. Frank, one of the owners, happened to be watching the store that day. I explained to him what I was looking for and after looking at many samples, arranged for him to come out and give us an estimate. After receiving an estimate, we booked the job for the following week. The two gentlemen that performed the job did a wonderful job and we couldn't be more pleased. It was even better than I expected. Even though the tear out of the existing floor was a little more work than they expected, the total charge was exactly the amount of the estimate.

The process took four days. They were very professional and nice to work with.

Very professional company. On Time for all visits. Returned for a followup repair on an area we weren't initially satisfied with without any issue. Kept the house clean from majority of the dust. Overall great team at Above All Hardwood Floors.

He was a very nice man and came out and gave us a quote, but we haven't done anything. Now we are trying to decide what we are going to do. He came out the same day that we looked him up. We would recommend him. He came out right away and was very friendly. He told us that our floors were not as bad as we thought they were. He said to wait until July because he thinks the humidity will cause them to swell and he wouldn't do anything now, so it wasn't like he was out to make a buck. He was real honest about everything and told us some different options that we had. We haven't had anyone else come out to give us an estimate, so we can't compare to anyone else.

They were good and we were happy with it. No problems came up.

They were 100% accurate on their bids and the service was phenomenal. They were so good we are going to have them come back and do more work for us. We were extremely satisfied.

We wanted to replace the carpeting in the living room, hallway and stairs in our split entry home. We considered laminate flooring because we thought wood was too expensive, but after meeting with a representative from Above All Hardwood, we were very surprised when their estimate came in under the two we had received for laminate floors. We had been told that laminate was not a good product to use on stairs because it was not sturdy enough for that use. We visited the showroom and selected a floor that we liked. We received a contract by email and the floor was scheduled to be installed in about 2 weeks. The floor boards were prefinished, but the stair treads were finished in the company factory. The installation went as planned, and the installers were competent and efficient. The man who installed the stairs was not initially satisfied with the prep work that had been done so he redid all that! He was very competent and detail oriented. He reinstalled the railings that had been removed, and gave us good ideas as to how to finish the edges where the stairs met the sheet rock. We feel that they went above and beyond the contract, and the floors are beautiful.

The crews from Above All Hardwood Floors did a great job for us. Each crew specialized in one area of the process from installation to sanding to finishing. From my first visit to the store till the final cleanup was done I was impressed with the professionalism and quality. Plus Frank is one of the nicest sales people I have ever met. He really knows his stuff about hardwood floors and gives a good price. The whole job was done in two days even though their supplier sent the wrong wood size at first. They quickly resolved the issue, got some upgraded flooring and had it installed and cleaned up in two days. When we replace our basement flooring, I will be calling Frank.

I was so happy with their work. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. There were two small areas I was unhappy with, and they fixed the problems immediately and perfectly. I will strongly recommend this company to anyone!

On time, beautiful work. Came back right away when requested to help remove the edging tape which was difficult. The additional carpentry work was beautiful. Price quoted was very slightly higher than others, but not enough to worry about.

INITIALLY WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND WAS ABLE TO COME OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE ON A SATURDAY MORNING. CLAIMED HE WOULD GET AN ESTIMATE OUT BY MONDAY AT THE LATEST. OVER 10 PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, A POSTING TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND OVER A MONTH LATER, I FINALLY RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE (AND IT WAS HIGHER THAN THE OTHER ESTIMATES I RECEIVED). FRANK CLAIMED IT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS OVERLY BUSY, BUT I GOT A CALL FROM THE COMPANY TWO WEEKS AFTER HIS INITIAL INSPECTION, ASKING IF I WANTED AN ESTIMATE. IN OTHER WORDS, IT WAS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

GOOD WORK & RESPONSIVE. PRICED AVERAGE COMPARED TO OTHER QUOTES. I'D USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL. THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND SHOWED UP ON TIME. THE CREWS CHANGED WITH EACH STEP OF THE PROCESS BUT IT ALL WENT SMOOTHLY. ALSO, ABOVE ALL HARDWOOD FLOORS RECOMMENDED AN EXCELLENT CARPENTER (SERGE AT QUALITY THINGS INC.) TO REPLACE THE RAILINGS AND STAIRS SO THEY WOULD MATCH. THEY COORDINATED THE PROJECT AND SHARED ON THE INSTALLATION AND FINISH OF THE STAIRS. EVERYTHING WENT AS PLANNED. THERE WERE NO SURPRISES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN.

EVERYONE I DEALT WITH WAS QUITE HELPFUL. THEIR SHOWROOM, THOUGH SMALL AND HARD TO FIND (THERE'S NO SIGN), HAD GREAT DISPLAYS THAT REALLY HELPED US CHOOSE THE RIGHT FLOOR. THEY INSTALLED A 3 1/4" RED BIRCH IN RECORD TIME. WE LEFT FOR THE SAND/POLY STAGE, AND WHILE THERE WAS MORE DUST THAN EXPECTED UPON OUR RETURN, THE FLOORS LOOK FABULOUS. ONE OF THE OWNERS, FRANK, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMMODATING IN DEALING WITH THE DUST ISSUE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WHOLE PROCESS. BRENT, THE SALES PERSON, WAS VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL TO DEAL WITH. THE CREW WERE EXCELLENT CRAFTSMEN AND VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
