Check up for air conditioning resulted in diagnosis of low refrigerant pressure. Refrigerant was added and AC performance improved substantially. Service visit was effective and informative.

Brian quickly diagnosed the problem when several others over last 2 years had not. He showed me exactly what was wrong & what needed to be replaced. He was very responsive in getting the new part indtalled within 48 hrs - especially important acct summer heat. Our AC was growing pretty weak during a recent hot spell. Brian came out and refilled the freon, plus replaced a couple of bad electrical parts. He explained everything he was doing in a way I could understand and he was very professional.  His price was fair and he provided a detailed invoice. I would recommend him to anyone and I will certainly use him again.

My AC stopped working just before a 90 + degree heat wave. Rickert was at my house at 7:30 and made repairs quickly saving me from days of discomfort. Great repairman.

He was very professional.  He showed me why things weren't working properly and then was able to fix them in a timely manner.   The price was a little high for the service that was actually needed, but if there was more extensive repairs that would have been needed the price would have been good.  The first hour is a set price no matter what service is needed and it just happened that mine was an easy fix so it only took him about 20 min to complete the job for an hours worth of pay.

He was very busy but always responded in a timely manner and even came out on a Sunday to do an estimate. As far as the work goes, he did a great job and cleaned up the area, too. Brian advised me on how to better circulate the air in my house, as well. My dog liked Brian, too, and he even took a few minutes to play with her. I would highly recommend him and will be certain to use him again.

Brian was fast to reply and come out for an estimate. He gave us the best rate and was able to schedule the work immediately even though it was peak season. He was very flexible. He came in while we were out of town, proof he is very trustworthy, completed the work. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I've already given his name to others needing a new furnace.

I have nothing but praise for Brian, he takes care of his customers well,was concerned about the customers well being in a situation where furnace was red flagged in cold weather and exceeded expectations to get a replacement furnace quickly. He also knows his products and recommends what would be the most efficient high qaulity product that is available. I have personally recommended him to friends who have had the same experience as I have had.

It's a one man shop and he is very personable and trustworthy. He does good work.

Whenever Brian has come to do work either on my furnace or AC he is neat and efficient.  He is also very helpful in making suggestions or answering my  many questions.

Furnace was not lighting.  I called Brian and left a message and he called back within the hour and came out to the house the same day.   There was a dead bird in the furnace and the circuit board had failed.  Brian had to leave to go pick up a new circuit board came back in less than 1 hour and spent a long time going over the entire furnace.  He was very friendly and professional and got our furnace fixed the same day.  I have a Rheem furnace and Brian is a certified Rheem dealer.  I was very, very impressed in how responsive he was and also his willingness to discuss the necessary repair and the overall condition of the furnace.

He was here the day I called! He was just the nicest guy! The work was great. My dad had purchased & installed an air filter in our furnace the day before, so he checked & made sure it was installed properly & found it was already dirty. He really looked carefully at everything including my air ducts. He really looked at everything & made sure my equipment was working well. I feel like I got more than my money's worth!

During our basement remodeling project, we got ourselves into a bind with scheduling when we discovered that our heating vents had to be rerouted prior to framing walls etc... Brian Rickert was referred to us by a common business acquaintence so we gave him a call. He went out of his way to make sure that the work that we needed done didn't require us to change any of our other plans or our schedule. We have an older house with low ceilings and he made sure that his work provided the the maximum head clearance that was available. He had a special boot fabricated that really made the difference. He also discovered a furnace exhaust vent that had a routing restriction ("T" instead of a "Y")  that could have caused carbon monoxide to backup through our water heater. The exhaust venting was also not connected securely to the vent pipe going to the roof. We are very happy that we called someone that didn't just do what we asked but he did everything that needed to be done.

They were very good. I would recommend them. The bill wasn't itemized and that was my only concern. It wasn't clear exactly what I was paying for and if the bill had to be itemized, it might have been helpful. They were referred to me by my family member.

I had a good experience with them. They were upfront and did a good job. They were clean and the work was done quite quickly. They were very competitive. We had contacted other companies as well and then made a judgment based on fine points. The price was really not relevant. However, they were competitive in that also.

I have used Rickert heating and Air Conditioning numerous times in a previous home and in my current home. Brian assessed my needs, explained options thoroughly. Brian completed the instalation as promised and did a great job in cleaning up through out the process. The savings from the new heating system that he recommended were beyond my expectations. Brian came out promptly after receiving our call. He spent over an hour trying to adjust the fan before he decided to reorder the part under warranty. When the replacement fan came in he came out and replaced it and it is now running properly. Brian was very professional and pleasant when working on what must have been a very frustrating problem. He even helped me to trouble shoot a d0-it-yourself project I was working on. All the warranty work and even the DYI advise was no charge. I've used Brian multiple times in the last 5 years he always exceeds my expectations!

Having family in the construction business, I appreciate a professional. Brian is just that. Extremely nice and took the time to explain everything concerning the furnace, as well as some other things in the house (we just moved in). Will definitely call again!

Called Brian and he came over that same afternoon. After looking over the unit, he recommended some easy changes (lower quality filter) to improve the air flow. Then he went outside and looked at the unit. He walked me through everything that he needed to do and explained the basic working of the unit. Then he did the work quickly and efficiently. He was a good sport about having the kids watch and talk with him while he worked. We have noticed a distinct improvement in the air flow and have a better understanding of how the unit works.
