GREAT JOB!
Description of Work: I HAD TO HAVE A NUMBER OF CORRECTIONS MADE TO A HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING UNIT THAT WAS INSTALLED BY A PREVIOUS HOMEOWNER IN AN ATTIC ADDITION TO OUR NEW HOUSE. I GOT THREE ESTIMATES. ONE (STANDARD) SAID THAT IT WOULD NOT BE WORTHWHILE TO DO THE CORRECTIONS, AND TRIED TO SELL US A WHOLE NEW UNIT AT $5,000 +. ONE AGREED TO DO THE CORRECTIONS FOR $3,200. VOLLHABER CAME IN AT $2,100 AND DID ALL THE CORRECTIONS ON A QUICK SCHEDULE. WE DO NOT SEE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE UNIT AND ARE GLAD WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE THE CORRECTIONS WITHOUT A WHOLE NEW SYSTEM.

I ASKED WHEN AIR CONDITIONERS GO ON SALE, HE SAID THE ONLY ONES THAT GO ON SALE ARE DISCONTINUED MODELS AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO GET PARTS FOR THEM. HE ALSO SAID THE DISCOUNT OFFERED BY NSP IS HIGH FOR EFFICENCY UNITS WHICH REQUIRE ALTERATIONS WITHIN THE FURNACE AND THOSE UNITS RUN UP TO $2400. THE ONE HE SUGGESTED I PURCHACE WOULD COST $1500. HELPED ME ABOVE AND BEYOND .
