Description of Work: He was very prompt to arrive. He ended up cleaning the main line to the street (75 ft) and the inside main line (35 ft) due to a heavy build-up of iron deposit. He explained in detail what the problem was and got my approval, giving me the cost, prior to starting the work. It took him only 1-1/2 hours to complete the inspection and the work. He was very courteous and very neat, not leaving a mess.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE EXTREMELY PROMPT. I CALLED A NUMBER OF COMPANIES FOR ESTIMATES AND SCHEDULES. ONCE I GAVE THE OK, SOS ARRIVED IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. PERHAPS I WAS JUST VERY LUCKY THEY WERE ALREADY IN THE AREA. WHEN I CALLED EACH TIME JEFF ANSWERED THE PHONE AND WAS VERY WILLINGLY GAVE AN ESTIMATE. RATES FOR THIS JOB WERE ON A PER DRAIN BASIS. THE SECOND DRAIN BEING HALF PRICE. ONE HOUR IS ALLOWED PER DRAIN BEFORE EXTRA CHARGES WOULD OCCUR. TOTAL TIME TO CLEAR BOTH DRAINS WAS ABOUT 1:15, WELL BELOW THE TWO HOURS TOTAL THAT WERE ALLOWED FOR THE TWO.
Description of Work: CLEANED TWO VERY SLOW DRAINS. ONE WAS BASEMENT FLOOR DRAIN; THE OTHER WAS BATHTUB DRAIN. I HAD TRIED TO CLEAN BOTH OF THESE MYSELF, BOTH WITH DRAIN CLEANER AND A SMALL MANUAL AUGER SNAKE. THEY CLEANED THE BASEMENT DRAIN WITH A POWERED AUGER SNAKE. THE BATHTUB PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY PART OF THE A DRAIN STOPPER LEVER MECHANISM IN THE OVERFLOW THAT HAD LOOSENED, FALLEN, AND CAUSED THE BLOCKAGE. THE OVERFLOW HAD TO BE TAKEN APART AND THE DEFECTIVE LEVER MECHANISM REMOVED. I WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE LEVER MECHANISM REPLACED WITH A NEW PARTS BY EITHER MYSELF OR A PLUMBER. SOS DOES ONLY DRAIN CLEANING, NOT PLUMBING REPAIR.

 + -1 moreANOTHER COMPANY HAD COME OUT TWO WEEKS EARLIER AND HAD CLEANED OUT ROOTS, BUT THE SEWER LINE BACKED UP AGAIN. JEFF CAME OUT AND CLEANED THE LINE THOROUGHLY BY USING A 4 CUTTER (AS OPPOSED TO A 2 CUTTER THE PREVIOUS DRAIN CLEANER USED). JEFF WAS PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS, AND INFORMATIVE. I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH HIS COMPANY.
