Brad was great. He was prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, and very courteous. He was there when he said he would be, and there were no surprises.

Terrific! Jeff was wonderfully helpful on the phone and able to accommodate my schedule. Marty came out a little earlier than expected (which was fine), and did a great job of explaining what was being done, what caused the problem and how to maintain the drain in the future. He and Jim (the trainee with him) were polite, cleaned up behind themselves, and were thorough. Their prices were extremely reasonable (even the weekend and emergency rates quoted, should I ever need help at those times). I couldn't be happier with the service and will absolutely call them the next time I have a drain related issue.

We were given SOS's name and number by our regular plumber when their equipment was broken. Apparently SOS is exactly what their name sounds like -- they are the AAA of drain cleaning. The plumber came within an hour of calling and were done quickly. We will definitely call them again.

Randy showed up on time, spent a bit of time figuring out what was wrong and how to approach it. He was very nice, left things pretty clean, tried to help figure out another option, when things didn't go as planned. Clearing pipes in kitchen went fine, except a piece of pipe broke and he didn't have a replacement, so I went to local hardware store to buy one. Clearing waste stack from bathroom proved to be more complicated, as first attempt (through sink) didn't work and large machine (snake) couldn't fit down basement stairs. Finally used a smaller machine that seemed to do the job. To get another tech with a machine that would go down the stairs, would a cost a bunch more and take at least another day. He also adjusted toilet tank water level, when he saw it wasn't right. Overall I'm satisfied.

I placed the call at 10 AM and they were able to schedule a visit between 2 and 4 PM. As promised the tech called about 30 min prior to visit. He was able to find the cause of the problem right away. Unplugged the drain, replaced the brocken part in the floor drain. Cleaned the work area and left. Remained very professional and polite. Great job!

Our usual plumbers recommended SOS when their own drain-cleaning guy was on vacation. I called SOS, and they scheduled an appointment for the same afternoon. The guy called me 1/2 hour prior to arriving at the house, so that I could scurry home from work to meet him (and he didn't mind that I arrived a few minutes later than I had hoped!) He cleaned out the floor drain, explained what the underlying problem was (a dip in the pipe resulting from the settling of the house) and why our own efforts hadn't been successful in clearing the pipe, dissuaded me from expensive extras even when I specifically inquired about them (''no, I don't think you really need that''), and was on his way again -- all in about half an hour. The only complaint I have is that he didn't clean up very well afterward: there was a dirty water mark left on the floor around the drain and a larger wet area on the floor, although honestly that's not even such a big deal since the floor is just painted concrete.

It was great. All 3 drains were done within an hour. Service was friendly & professional. I have used SOS in the past & I will use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job. They were quick to respond once they got my message. It did however take a while for them to get my message so be sure to call again if you get the answering machine.

Quick, courteous, and the price was better than their competitors'.

They were great to work with. I had a response call within a half hour and they came out the next day to fix my toilet. There was a little mess to clean up after but it was minimal and required no more that 5 minutes of my time.

They were very friendly and helpful guys.

THEY RETURNED MY CALL QUICKLY AND AGREED TO COME OUT THAT AFTERNOON. THEY CALLED PRIOR TO ARRIVING AND CAME AT THE SPECIFIED TIME. CLEARED CLOG, AND GAVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AVOIDING FUTURE BACK-UP. CLEANED UP WHEN DONE.

HAVE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE WITH GREAT RESULTS. UNLIKE SOME COMPANIES, THEY ARE ABLE TO HANDLE EXTRA LONG SEWER LINES (IN EXCESS OF 75 FEET).

RANDY WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS, AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF.

GREAT. THE GUY WHO CLEANED MY DRAIN WAS CONSIDERATE, HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. I THOUGHT THEY DID A GREAT JOB AT A CONSIDERABLY CHEAPER PRICE THAN ANYONE ELSE I FOUND. WILL DEFINITELY CALL ON THEM AGAIN.

I COMPARED THE PRICE TO ANOTHER SERVICE AND SOS WAS SLIGHTLY LESS EXPENSIVE. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE CONSIDERING THE TIME, PREP AND CLEAN-UP INVOLVED AS WELL AS TRAVEL AND HAULING HEAVY SNAKE DOWN AND UP STAIRS.

BRAD WAS SLIGHTLY LATE BUT ONLY BECAUSE HE GOT LOST; A COMMON OCCURRENCE WHERE I LIVE. IM VERY PLEASED. I HAD CALLED ANOTHER PLUMBER WHO I USED IN THE PAST BUT THEY WERE OVERLOADED AND RECOMMENDED SOS. GOOD RECOMMENDATION.

RANDY ARRIVED ON TIME AND CALLED IN ADVANCE. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING TO UN CLOG THE TOILET AND ALSO IDENTIFIED ANOTHER PROBLEM WHICH HE REPAIRED. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

BRAD WAS LATE AND CALLED TO SAY HE WAS GOING TO BE 30 TO 45 MINUTES LATE. HE ARRIVED 1 HR AND 15 MINUTES LATE. ONCE HE GOT TO THE HOUSE HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GOT THE JOB DONE. I WOULD RECOMMEND FOR FUTURE JOBS THAT THEY ARE PREPARED WITH TRASH BAGS AND NEWSPAPER SO THE HOMEOWNER DOESNT HAVE TO PROVIDE THEM.

JEFF AND RANDY DID EXCELLENT WORK AT MY HOUSE. THEY PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO REMOVING EXTREMELY STUBBORN PIECES (ONE IRON PLUG AND ONE HAND AUGER I HAD MANAGED TO GET STUCK IN THE DRAINPIPE) AND DID NOT GIVE UP WHEN MANY OTHER COMPANIES WOULD HAVE. ALSO VERY CONSIDERATE - JEFF ASKED ABOUT REMOVING HIS BOOTS BEFORE ENTERING MY HOUSE. ULTIMATELY THEY WERE ABLE TO REMOVE MY HAND AUGER, NARROW DOWN THE PROBLEM AREA AND CLEAR THE LINE USING A PROFESSIONAL-GRADE AUGER. JEFF WAS VERY CLEAR WHEN EXPLAINING THE PROCEDURE AND EXPLAINING MY OPTIONS. HE PROVIDED ME WITH STRAIGHT-FORWARD ADVICE AND SUGGESTIONS TO PREVENT FUTURE PROBLEMS. JEFF EVEN RETURNED TO MY HOUSE THE FOLLOWING DAY TO ADDRESS A CONCERN OF MINE, AND LEFT ONLY AFTER I UNDERSTOOD & WAS SATISFIED WITH ALL THE WORK. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM & RE-HIRE THEM IN AN INSTANT.

THIS HAPPENED THE EVENING BEFORE THANKSGIVING, AND I WAS EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR THEIR RAPID RESPONSE.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH RESPONSIVENESS, AND I WOULD COMMENT ON THEIR APPEARANCE, BUT SINCE I DIDN'T SEE THEM (I WORKED THIS ALL OUT BY PHONE & MY TENANT LET THEM IN) I CAN'T HONESTLY SAY WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE. THEY FOLLOWED MY INSTRUCTIONS PERFECTLY (CHECK IS WITH TENANT, LEAVE RECEIPT AT MY HOUSE, CALL BEFORE COMING OVER, ETC). I DO CONSIDER THIS A FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE AS I SET THE APPOINTMENT, WROTE THE CHECK, AND SPOKE TO THEM REPEATEDLY, I JUST COULDN'T BE THERE TO LET THEM IN.

IF YOU HAVE A DIFFICULT ENTRY TO THE BASEMENT, LET THEM KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AS IT IS A LARGE, HEAVY MACHINE WHICH MAY REQUIRE 2 GUYS TO BRING DOWN THE STEPS. WE HAVE A NARROW ENTRY WITH SMALL PLATFORMS AND 3 TURNS AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH EASIER WITH 2 GUYS.
