I have used SOS many times since 2007 and they always do a great job. I recommend them to anyone with drain issues.

Guy arrived a little early after calling to be sure it was ok. He worked very quickly to clean both of the drains. He spread newspaper to avoid leaving a mess, checked that the drains were clean and traps were not leaking, and picked up the papers when done. After he left, we had a little trouble with the trap connections leaking, but this was easily fixed and not unexpected since we've had this problem with my amateur plumbing repairs before. The drains both work better than they have for years. We are very satisfied.

Marty was able to accommodate an emergency Sunday appointment to work on our basement drain. He snaked it out and it is running a lot smoother now. For a Sunday, he was very busy but was able to fit our job in and we appreciated that. The extra $50 for weekend work was worth it to us.

It went great. Marty was able to come promptly and get the job done right away. It was an emergency call for a rental house w 4 people and three toilets, so we needed the work done fast and on the weekend.

Very neat and professional. Cleaned the drain very well. My drains have never worked so well in the seven years I have lived here.

The main office had a technician call me within 2 hours of my call to discuss my problem and help me determine a course of action. I was impressed with the time they took to research my issues over the phone, before I committed to having any work done. The person that came out was quick and efficient. He was very respectful of my home and property. My only suggestion would be that the technicians coming to the house were some type of uniform to present a more professional image.

My husband called this company (whom we have used multiple times successfully and happily in the past), and had them come to clean out a shower drain. The other times were fine service, this was terrible. The person called and said he'd be here in 15 minutes and warned that if we weren't there, he would leave. I immediately left the office to get home. I drove it just as the service provider was about to take off in his car. He saw we just arrived so he parked and got out and started berating me for not being on time (I was literally 2 minutes beyond the 15). I told him that if he needed to go and do another job that was fine. He said he could come back and I said, "no that's fine, I can just hire someone else". He reluctantly trudged in and did the job. When it came time to pay, it was more than we anticipated. He called in to the office and they agreed that it was supposed to be the lower fee. After he left, I went upstairs where the cleaning was done and found splatters of black bathroom drain grudge all over the floor the walls, the stairwell, splattered like he dragged his unclean equipment down the staircase. Disgusting. NOT a good experience at all. I hope they address this issue with this particular employee.

Pretty impressed with them. I called their office. They in turn called one of their servicemen, and the office guy handling calls called us back to tell us the serviceperson would be calling us shortly. He did, he told us what time he could arrive. He came absolutely when he said, and called when he was on his way. Quick, efficient, fixed the problem kind of experience.

I have had this provider 3 times in the last couple years for ongoing problems with a bathtub in our home. The first time the technician snaked the line and we saw some improvement in drainage for a little while but the problem quickly returned. I called and they sent the same technician back free of charge with a similar result. For quite a while we stopped using the bathtub b/c on his second visit the technician implied that we might have a larger problem with the age of the pipes in that bathroom and we weren't prepared financially to address that. Several months ago after having guests use the bathtub a number of times we decided to give repair one more try. I called SOS and requested a more senior technician. They had someone out here very quickly and he discovered an old coil in the pipe from the rusted out stopper that was likely causing a lot of the problem. He also fixed the slow drainage in the bathroom sink and snaked a toilet for me. Bottom line- I was very pleased with the last technician and the service he provided. It's a little frustrating that the first technician didn't find the problem on either visit but I am glad to have it fixed. They have always been very courteous and prompt with service which I appreciate as well.

About a week later my mother had the same problem at her house. Her "reliable" plumbing company hadn't returned her calls after several hours, so I booked SOS. They showed up as promised, did what they said they would, and because it took less time than expected, they charged her less than quoted. Highly recommend!

The drain was cleaned and opened quickly. I was also told not to clean up cat litter in the basement sink but to wash the litter box (weather permitting) outside, as even a little bit of litter can turn into clay slim and eventually plug the drains.

Brad called before arriving, was very personable, is very knowledgeable, and just a professional all the way. Brad was careful bringing equipment in and taking it out, was great about getting down protection on carpeted areas, and explained what was going on as he worked. Great company with great service, quick and efficient. We'll definitely call on them again.

The kitchen drain was very slow moving water out. I went on their website and submitted a call request. I did not receive a prompt response (no big deal). I called them the next morning and was able to obtain an appointment for that same morning!! The technician called when he was about 30 minutes from my home (as promised). He arrived on time. He brought his equipment in surveyed the situation and had that slow drain moving fast again. He cleaned up behind himself and was in and out in 30-40 minutes. Our church uses SOS Drain and I am impressed with their service. That is why I wanted to use them in my home.

I had used SOS in the past, and had a good experience. I think the drain cleaning itself was done well. However, my overall experience this time was less stellar. I contacted SOS through the Angie's List site and did not receive a prompt response. I shrugged that off and called them to set up an appointment. The technician was prompt, but did not know what he was there to do when he arrived (I had to tell him I wanted to the main line cleaned). After he left, I noticed that he had tracked dirt on my basement floor (which I had to clean), failed to return a drain spout extender to its original position (he'd had to remove it to perform service, which is fine), accessed my kitchen garbage to dispose of tree root debris (fine, but I would have appreciated being asked), and left a wrench and pair of gloves behind. The technician just wasn't very attentive to the small details that make OK service seem great. Despite having used them before, and despite the fact that this experience did not fit with my prior experience, I will think twice before hiring them again.

Our sewer line was backed up and draining very slowly. We were cheerfully greeted on Saturday afternoon when we called to ask about pricing and availability. We scheduled an appointment for Tuesday at 3 pm. The two service technicians were prompt, courteous, and helpful. Brad carefully explained the processes and helped to alleviate our concerns about "worst case scenarios". He had to remove our downstairs toilet to access the main sewer line so he could cut out tree roots that had pushed their way in through joints. He charged a nominal feel to remove the toilet, replace the wax ring, and reset it after he was finished. He also replaced the fill valve inside the tank that was spraying water up and out of the top of the tank! And he only charged us for the part. We truly appreciate the "above and beyond" service level and fair pricing! This company is the reason why we joined Angie's list. A+++

Randy came out, on time, and accurately assessed the problem within 10 minutes. The problem was a plugged line into the main sewer line out of the house. I had expected him to find a plugged main line. He fixed the problem, and the charge was less expensive than a clearance of the main line would have been. He assessed the main line at my request and told me he didn't believe it needed attention at this time. He could have easily persuaded me to purchase a more expensive service, but he did not. He was pleasant, friendly and obviously competent. When you need a plumber, you are in a vulnerable position if you are not knowledgable about such things. I appreciated his honesty and competent service very, very much

They were awesome. I called a number of companies and one was twice the price. I had a lot of stuff of things going on that day and SOS agreed to come at the time that worked for me and they were really responsive compared to the other companies; they came on a Saturday. They also fixed the leak for free.

This is the second time I have called SOS, and it went smoothly. Given what plumbers usually charge, they were extraordinarily reasonable. They were also prompt and friendly. It took maybe half an hour but they got the line to clear. They also told me about a potential problem down the line, but not to worry about it unless it acted up again in the next six months.

SOS came out right away in the morning and took care of that and explained the whole process thoroughly so I can keep an eye on it in the future. He also cleared the pipe from the bathroom upstairs so that sink no longer drains slowly. A+ experience with them and would definitely use their services again.

Our kitchen sink started draining slowly and the dishwasher started backing up into the sink. We had used SOS twice before and been pleased with the results. We called in the morning and set up a two hour appointment window in the afternoon when we could be home. They called a little before the window as they were running ahead of schedule and wanted to see if they could get started early. Randy showed up and took care of the drain quickly and efficiently. It now works great. We were very pleased with the service, efficiency and pricing.

I got a same day appt to unclog my basement sink. The owner actually showed up because the other techs were running behind (which is totally normal when you don't know what sort of problem you're walking into) and he got the job done quickly and professionally. Highly recommend.

Brad did a great job & kept in mind the cost by using the equipment that was less expensive first. That equipment & his expertise got the pipe open within the hour he was here. The only reason for the B rating in promptness is that he did come later than expected. He was very good about calling me to keep me informed on his time & showed up when it would've been the end of the day for most around 5pm. Glad he stayed & did the work at that hour. The $155/hour price was the only reason I gave the price a B. Seems like a lot but I believe it may be the going rate. Plus I got their discount of 10%. I would've appreciated being informed that they "might" have to use another special steaming machine to thaw things out if they felt it necessary. That would've cost more money for the job being done IF needed. It wasn't. Brad knew what to look for, what to use & didn't waste any time getting the job done. I'd use them again. Hope I don't have to!

Called SOS the day before Thanksgiving. They answered right away and had someone at my house within 2 hours of my call. Tech arrived and confirmed that it was my kitchen sink that was clogged and he got to work clearing it out. Just as he was finishing it, he told me that the pipe that comes out from the wall to the sink had a hole in it. He stated that he was not a plumber and could not fix it. He taped it up with electrical tape and advised me to contact a plumber. He collected his fee and was on his way. |Oh he was apologetic but didn't even give me a reference for a plumber. |He did accomplish what I called him for, but leaving me in that state left a bad taste in my mouth.

My daughter called on Sunday evening regarding a drain problem. I knew from the description she gave me that it was a blockage and that she needed to call a professional. I had SOS do my own drains a couple years ago and was very satisfied so I recommended that she call them. They came out around noon on Monday took care of everything very quickly and at a reasonable cost. We're very satisfied with SOS Drain and would recommend them to anyone........

Arrived on time and as promised and performed the work quickly and cleanly. I would use them again. In fact, this is the second time I have used this company. Been pleased both times.
