It went very well. The person showed up within a half hour, performed the work and removed the clog within an hour. He told me he could either stop now or spend another half hour to remove more of the built up roots. I appreciated being asked if I wanted to pay the extra half hour for the work. He even cleaned up the floor after he finished the work. Very courteous and professional, will definitely use them again.

They came within an hour of me calling. That's really incredible service. He was very professional. If I ever needed a visual inspector I would definitely hire them again.

Randy showed up on time and spent the next two hours snaking the floor drain. While the flow was improved and no water would come out of the drain, suds from the washing machine would still overflow after 1 or 2 loads. He recommended having a plumber install a backwater device on the floor drain.

We had water coming up the floor drain in the basement after washing a load of clothes. I was referred to this company by another company I called that doesn't do this type of work. An appointment was scheduled for the next day. Brad Bartell was courteous and explained what he was doing, and he cleaned up after the job was finished. I was very pleased with the service and price.

SOS was willing to come out to our house on the weekend and only charged us a $50 premium to do so. They explained this to us prior to scheduling our appointment and made sure that we understood that they could come out on Monday. We needed the work done immediately so we were happy to pay the $50. SOS gave us our choice of scheduling time, either later on Saturday or first thing in the morning on Sunday. We took the Sunday time and SOS arrived a bit later than expected, but not too much. They cleaned the drain and charged us just as they quoted over the phone. The serviceman was very friendly and provided us with advice about the roots that we have growing in our drain lines. Our only complaint was that even though he cleaned the area around where he worked, he didn't clean up an area where water backed up as a result of his work. I know it is a minor complaint.

After running a load of laundry, I returned to the basement and was horrified to find black, gooey, stinky water sitting around the floor drain. I called two floor drain companies, including SOS, for a phone estimate. I spoke to two very nice men (including Jeff), but I choose SOS because their quotes were far better. Marty came to my house the very next morning and recommended the floor drain be snaked. He gave me the pros and cons of having the main line cleaned, but I declined, as he thought that line was running smoothly. While he was there, I also had him snake the bathroom sink drain, which had been running slow for awhile. My toilet had issues, too, so he dumped some cleaner in the intake valve and scrubbed the holes under the bowl. It works great! I will definitely have SOS come to my house for future drain issues. Randy was prompt and very knowledgeable. We got a 90 day guarantee, which we haven't gotten from other companies. My partner Bill was there when Randy did the work. I was at the office, so I can't say much more. However, my partner was very pleased as Randy seemed much more knowledgeable than plumbers we've had to do the same work in the past!

My phone call was answered immediately (7:30 AM). They clearly explained their approach and pricing. I indicated when I could be home, and they took my cell and told me they'd determine if they could come the same day and return my call. Randy called me en route about an hour later. He was friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to clearing the problem, he also checked and adjusted the toilet water level to help prevent future problems. He cleaned the work areas when he was finished. SOS charges on a per-incident basis, flat rate, but the second drain is half price.

He thought it was a garbage. He fixed the issue. I would not hesitate to contact them again.

Great! Came on short notice, fixed everything. They found dog hair in the drains and showed me how to minimize this (I have a dog bathing tub that drains into the sewer drain) - also what I can do myself to keep the drain flowing freely. They gave me two Angie's List discounts, including 1/2 price for the second drain.

We called SOS in a panic because our bathtub drain was hopelessly plugged. Jeff said he'd have someone out the next day, and possibly that same afternoon (wow). Called back later because the plugged drain problem had morphed into a broken drain problem, with a pipe leaking into the basement. Jeff quickly contacted a plumber he works with (Ben Larson Mechanical) and not only arranged for Ben to come out ASAP, but also understood our problem enough to have thoroughly explained it to the plumber and obtained a firm quote for the work. The plumber got to our house Saturday morning and got right to work after analyzing the problem. We decided to scale back the originally planned repair because we were going to re-do the bathroom anyway, and Ben got the job done (replacement of a 1924 lead pipe tub drain line with ABS)in under an hour. Price was well under what we had planned for, and the job was perfect and clean. Hats off to both Jeff (SOS) and Ben. A+.

I was very pleased with the response time (within an hour) and professionalism. My only teeny complaint is that one pays by the job: $105 per drain. Whether it takes 5 minutes (in my case for the sink) or an hour, the price is the same.

We had sewage coming up into the drains in our basement. We called SOS at about 7:30 AM on Sunday. Marty called within half an hour to say that he would be out by 9:30 AM. He called again at 9:30 to say it would be closer to 12:30 PM. He arrived at 12:30, and was very thorough in determining if it was indeed the main line that was clogged. After taking care of the clog, he replaced some small parts in the main line and in a floor drain after explaining to us very clearly what he was proposing. In all, Marty was there for at least an hour, was very professional and polite, explained everything very clearly, and cleaned up after himself nicely.

I have this done every year or so as routine maintenance. With companies in the past they have been careless and once damaged my property. When I told SOS, they said they would do everything they could to move the machine gentle up and down steps and over the tile. They did a good job and both guys that I spoke with listened to my concerns and made obvious efforts to accommodate for those. I will use them again.

It was a very smooth experience that went as expected.

SOS came out and snaked the toilet, but determined that the main drain was not the problem. They figured out that the hole at the base of the bowl had hard water build up and was partially plugged. They cleared that out and also put a tube back into the overflow pipe. With these two problems fixed, I have had no re-occurrences of the overflow. I would have never figured it out, I had even snaked the drain myself and just thought that I wasn't able to do a good enough job of it. They were prompt, courteous and knew their stuff.

I found SOS through Angie's List and am happy that I selected them. They were very responsive throughout the process. They returned my call immediately and provided an estimate over the phone which was exactly what they charged. When they came out, Randy called my cell in advance to I had time to make it home from work. The service was outstanding and I highly recommend them for drain and sewer cleaning.

Since we had a disposal installed, our kitchen sink had been backing up. SOS came out within a few hours and got the job done. Very friendly staff...highly recommended.

These people came out the same day we called and did not waste any time doing the work. The only little thing that made me lower their ratings from perfect is that they did not put anything down to protect our carpets. Besides that, we would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Great. They knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. Made a same day appt. and they were on time. Very professional, and did a great job cleaning up before they left.

We contacted SOS and they were able to come out the next day (it wasn't a super urgent issue). They effectively and efficiently diagnosed the problem and corrected the problem. The work was completed professionally and with care for our home (i.e. removed shoes, made certain work area was protected, etc.). The weather was bad that day so the arrival at our home was delayed but the person from SOS contacted us frequently to provide us with estimated arrival times and called right before arriving at our home so we could be on site to allow for the service to be completed.

They came the next day and called just before arriving. I showed them exactly where the problem was. Marty and another plumber (in training) fixed the problem in about half an hour and cleaned up after the job. Although the cost was the same as the estimate I got on the phone, the job seemed much simpler than the fee seems to merit. I'm grateful that the drain is clear!

The service I received from SOS was outstanding. They returned calls promptly and arrived within an hour of the returned phone call. The two gentlemen were very professional, quick, and extremely clean. They cleaned the area they worked in very nicely. I had a number of questions, all of which were answered directly and professionally. I had them come out to clean only one drain, however, had them do an additional two drains which they cleaned for half price each. I would use this company's services again without hesitation.
