I seldom post reviews, however, I wanted to write about my positive experience with SOS Drain & Sewer. Having dealt with ongoing sewer line issues at a previously owned rental property, I was very concerned when my sink line backed up recently. My previous experience with other service providers has always been poor. I must say that SOS was a totally different experience. Adam was the Serviceman who did the work. He was very professional and a pleasure to do business with. The whole process was easy and well worth the call. I felt the price was fair as well.

Randy came when he said he would, did what he said he would do in a timely manner and the cost was what he estimated. Very efficient.

They were great setting up the appointment. Arrived on time. Performed the service for the original estimate.The technician was professional, knowledgable, and shared thoughts about potential future repairs that we might need in the future.All in all, the best experience we have had with drain cleaning!

Returned my call fast and sent someone right over. The guy that came to do the work was professional and prompt. The only thing that I would have changed is there was a little more of a mess left behind with my walls and floors being pretty dirty. Otherwise, a positive experience!

We have an ongoing problem with sewer backup in our basement due to numerous tree roots in the line. Every 2 years, or so, we end up wading in raw sewage. Not wanting to do that again we decided to get some preventive maintenance performed. I first called the company we had used in the past, but was treated rudely so decided to use Angie's List and call around. My next, and only other call, was to SOS. From the moment they answered the phone to the completion of the job I was impressed with this company. The man that set up the appointment was friendly, courteous and helpful. On the day of our service the technician, Randy, was everything GOOD. He was respectful, professional, friendly, but most importantly he was HONEST. We used Roto Rooter in the past and were told we would be charged extra if they had to go over 100 feet to the sewer line in the street, and also ended up paying that charge. Randy was confused when I told him this because he said we were nowhere near that distance. I will never use the other company again, I will only call SOS. We got twice the quality of work for half the price. PLUS they took an Angie's list coupon. We are very pleased and happy customers.

I called SOS about a clogged drain in our shower at around 7am. I was able to speak to someone immediately and they said they'd come by between 11am and 1pm. All of the reviews on Angie's list said the cost would be around $95 so that's what I expected to pay. Right at 11am, Adam R came to my house. He did a great job unclogging the drain quickly, even with some complications with our tub. He was very nice and he answered all of my many questions with patience. He cleaned up everything before he left, including spraying down the floor to clean up any mess. The cost was $95, just like Angie's list said it would be! My only comment is that it would save him time cleaning up if he wore booties to cover his shoes. Thanks SOS!

I called SOS to inquire about a quote for a drain floor clog and the woman who answered the phone took all my information. Very professional and thorough. Brad called me back within the hour with a quote and I made an appointment within a week to fit into my schedule. The technician Randy called me to tell me he was on his way. Randy was professional, personable and competent. He explained what he did and cleaned up. Every point of contact with this company was positive and I highly recommend them to my friends and family and will use them in the future. Thank you SOS and thanks for the discount which was a bonus!. A++

I called SOS and asked if someone could by chance come out that same day. No problem. Brad arrived an hour later. He was very polite and very professional. I noticed this throughout the service. He has a good sense of humor too. It's apparent he likes his job. He fixed 2 toilets, two sinks, one shower and connected the water softener hose and the furnace hose to the basement floor drain so the water no longer plashes on the floor. He gave me pointers on how to do my own fixes on small issues. He was great. Very happy with the results! I will call on SOS again.

My wife was doing laundry and the basement flooded due to a main sewer line backup. I called S.O.S and they were at our house within 2 hours on a Sunday. Randy was a complete professional and had our line clear within an hour. This is the second time I have used SOS and I will definitely use them again. Great business! Thanks Randy!

Discovered floor drain overflow in basement at 6:30am. We have a well and septic system so the lower level plumbing is serviced by a sewage pump. If the pump stops working the drain will overflow. I called at 6:45am and Brad arrived as stated within an hour and a half. He discovered that the float was stuck resulting in the pump not working. He gave me two choices - just unstick the float or replace it. I decided to err on the safe side and replace it. As soon as the pump started working again, the water started to drain. He was done before 9am and the cost was very reasonable compared with what I had paid Roto Rooter previously when I called about a malfunctioning pump. Brad was very personable and efficient.

Everything was fine. The tech, Randy, was professional, well-dressed, polite and serious about doing a good job. From this and previous experience with S.O.S., they should be the first call anyone makes who needs sewer lines cleaned out. You can trust them to do the job right and to price it fairly.

Got a same-day appointment, he arrived right on time, got the work done promptly, was friendly and courteous. My only complaint is that he left a fair amount of water on the floor near the floor drain, which I discovered when I stepped in it while starting a load of laundry immediately after he left.

The technician was very speedy and the drain is flowing great now. Only complaint was that we had to clean up after the service was performed. This is a "gray area" for some companies, but not for me... when the job is finished, I want the job site (my home!) looking like it was before they arrived. Not looking like a service guy has been there with his wet boots and equipment. Technically, mission accomplished; from a customer point of view, left me feeling like something was unfinished. Very responsive company; we've used them in the past. I'm sure they'll address this shortcoming. Appreciated the Angie's List member discount!

It went really well. Randy got our sewer line unplugged in less than an hour.

They came right away and did what they said they would do. It didn't take long.

I called SOS because we had water bubbling up from main drain & shower in basement after emptying bathtub on 1st floor. The owner quoted price and Angie's List discount. I decided to wait until after the weekend, because the weekday price was lower and I felt I could minimize my water use during the weekend. This worked fine, and the SOS tech. called 1st thing on Monday morning and arrived within 30 minutes. He cleaned out the main line and left the area clean. The price was the same as had been quoted.

Discovered this morning that sewer had overflowed during night. Looked up SOS in Angies List. Called them and scheduled service for this afternoon. Adam called before coming and arrived promptly. He verified that the problem was as it is every 3 years in the sewer line going to the street main. Adam got his equipment and cleaned the line quickly, checked that the sewer worked, and cleaned up his work. How nice to have the problem solved in the same day with a polite and helpful professional.

Randy performed the service. He communicated well both before he arrived and while he was in my home. He put down drop clothes and kept my house in great condition and was efficient with his work. He provided me with good insights while he worked. Finally, SOS has great technology to take credit cards through their smart phones which made the payment process quick and without a lot of paper. Great overall experience. I plan to use SOS again.

They came the same morning I called. Randy was very efficient. He was polite & friendly & left everything clean. I for sure would use them again. Price was very fair.

Marty answered the phone when I called. He was at another job and told me when he would be able to arrive at our house. He arrived when he said that he would, explained what he thought the problem was and how he would resolve it. He was very respectful of our home and left the workspace cleaned up. We were cooking soup and invited him to have a bowl before he left, he did. We were impressed to learn that he has worked for SOS for more than 10 years. No problems with the drain since he did the work. We also got a discount when we mentioned Angie's List.

Showed up on time, Service was excellent!

The guy was fantastic. We were making soup when he came and he said it smells good. Then he went down and did the plumbing work. When I was down there, I told him to share the soup with us when he was done. He said it sounded great and he did come up. He was an employee of SOS Drain & Sewer Services. The price was about $150 for their services. They were very clean and cleaned up after themselves. They were very customer friendly. In fact, the guy that did the work had been there for 10 years and stayed for supper at our invitation. The price was very competitive. I checked a couple of others and it was good. I would use them again.

Brad was very quick and efficient - removed his shoes - checked the basement before deciding to run the snake through the sink. The tub plumbing is very old and rusted - I don't use it. My first experience as a homeowner having to have something fixed and it was great. He was finished in under 10 mintes and I called in the morning and they were out around lunchtime.
