Our toilet was slow to flush and they came to clear it out. They came within a couple hours of my first phone call to them, they got the job done quietly and didn't wake our sleeping baby in the next room. The price was very fair and I would definitely use them again.

They were prompt and knew what the problem was immediately.

We have used this company before, with good experience. We asked for Marty and they said that he was not available so try would send somebody better. The person who did our drain said he would be there at 3, showed up very late, and did not say he would be late. He did his job, and before he left he asked my husband if we had a mop he could use, and when my husband said no, he left without cleaning up his mess. Which was extremely irritating, as I thought that might be part of his job, but I guess not. The door he used to enter and exit our home had a dog door installed, and that part of the yard is fenced in. Half an hour after he left, my husband checked to see if our dog, Baxter, was outside and call him in only to realize that the SOS man had left the fate open when he left. Our dog was running the neighborhood, and we spent half an hour searching he neighborhood for him. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism he showed, as well as the fact that my dog could have been hit by a car due to his careless and lazy conduct.

On time, courteous, about the right price. Excellent experience with them.

SOS Drain and Sewer Services did an excellent job for me. The owner, Jeff, was very responsive - actually returned my email on a Sunday evening. We talked early the following morning. We set a time for the same day. Randy, service person, was on time and very professional and cheerful. Snaked out a floor drain and explained to me the problem and how to better maintain. Price was exactly what Jeff said it would be including a 10% Angie's discount. This company far exceeded my expectations. They have my highest recommendation.

Did a fine job, seem like the plug took some extra effort to clear, compared to previous cleaning's. The work was done on a Saturday evening and Marty remain pleasant and professional the whole time.

Had water in the utility room on Saturday. Checked where water was coming from, moved out the washer which is sitting over the floor drain and there it was - water backing up from the floor drain. Also the toilet in lower level of our house was gurgling. Did some checking on the List of various vendors and needed one who would provide service on the weekend. Put in call to SOS. Their service had a worker call me back right away. Explained to him what was going on. He had a number of clients in the queue and said it would be mid to late evening before he could get here and that he'd call before coming out. When I didn't get a call by around 8 p.m., I called them and the service had the worker call me back. It would've been really late before he would've gotten here, so I told him I'd be fine with waiting until the next day (Sunday). So he came out on Sunday and determined it was main line. I had him cut out a whole in the vinyl floor covering in order to access the line and he did so neatly. He reamed out the line, said the blockage was about 50 feet out and that it seemed to be a debris accumulation in a bit of a depression. Told me to only use single ply toilet paper in the bathrooms and never flush dental floss or baby wipes, etc. The cap cracked so he replaced that. He was very neat and professional about his work and I have not had any problems since so I would say he was thorough. I was glad to have the work done on a weekend even if it was a bit more expensive. I would use SOS Drain & Sewer again for this type of problem.

Highly recommended. This was possibly the best work I have had done at our home. The appointment was easy to make, the initial estimate was verified after the work was done. Since it was the first time we'd used them I was able to use an Angie's list coupon. They called 30 minutes ahead of time like they said they would. They arrived at the beginning of their window (not the end) -- they said between 9-11 and were at my door at 9am. They were courteous and professional, and quick and less than half the price of our first estimate. Work is guaranteed for 90 days (as long as we follow their sensible advice on how to prevent in the future). I was able to write this review before 10am they were so quick! By the way: The first estimate was with a company we have used before, and my wife got a "deal" for them to do additional work as needed for a year... the "deal" apparently was that they would visit us for free next time... although once they arrived they were going to charge $250 or more for the work S.O.S. was able to do for $95. We may have found our new drain cleaners!

Every time the washing machine discharged water into the laundry tubs, the floor drain would backup. My concern was that the main drain was clogged causing the problem. I made the call to SOS Drain and Sewer. They were available to clear the drain within the time frame given. The plumber did clear the main using a power assisted snake, and fixed the problem. The charge was reasonably priced at $95.00. I would use them in the future if the need arises.

The service person was timely, helpful and solved the problem right away.

Timely arrival. Work performed honestly and well. Seemed honest. Not so with a prior company. They said there was something wrong with my line and that they could televise it for additional charge. Refused to clean out beyond 25 feet. Said it needed to be dug up and repaired. SOS cleaned it all the way out to the street and never mentioned any problems with the line.

The drain in my basement was clogged--water would not go down. SOS came in and did a thorough cleaning. Very happy with the results!

We have used SOS to clear a number of clogged drains over the last couple of years. They are committed to meeting schedule and getting the job done right. Those providing service to us have always been courteous and professional. They explain what they did and what they found.

S.O.S. did a great job. The first company I called had me talked into an $860 service (a water jet and camera) with service within 1-4 days which meant serious water use conservation to avoid further flooding to my basement. Brad from S.O.S. showed up not even two hours after I called that same day. He explained exactly what he would do and did it. He also charged me exactly what he quoted me. He cleaned up after himself and gave me tips to avoid future clogs. He was friendly, professional, and efficient.

We discovered a backed up floor drain and big puddle of water on the basement floor. I called and gave my information and within 15 minutes received a call back. I was able to have Adam come out to the house within a couple of hours. He figured out the problem (tree roots) and had the drains cleared and everything cleaned up within about an hour and a half. Super fast, efficient, and not too expensive. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Our floor drain backed up. I tried what I could with my limited knowledge of plumbing, but didn't get it to drain. I called SOS after finding them on Angie's List. They were able to come out the same day, and arrived in the window they said they would. I explained what is going on, and the technician did his work and was done in about 20 minutes. So much easier than trying to do it myself. Will be calling them if it happens again.

Plumber from a national plumbing group came and did not recognize where the clean out plug was. His answer seemed wrong so I decided to get another estimate. S.O.S. plumber came and immediately found the cleanout where the other plumber could not find it. Problem was, his snake machine was too big to fit down my stairs. He made some calls and found another company he could borrow one from. The other company brought it over and the S.O.S. plumber did the cleanout. Then the second problem - the very old pipe broke just outside the foundation of my house, from the cleanout snake. This plumber was wise enough to get some advise from his boss and the two of them figured out the most economically way to fix the pipe and did this repair also. I could not have asked for a more sensible, economic, and faster solution to my problem.

We had a sewer backup in our basement this morning and I called SOS around 10AM to see if they could some out to clear the line. The answering service took my info and promised a call back from Brad, and sure enough, he called me back within 15 minutes. He promised to be out around 1PM, which worked great for us. When he arrived, he quickly assessed the situation, then brought his equipment in and cleared the line of a bunch of roots. He verified that the line was draining well before re-capping it. All told, he was in and out in less than an hour. He laid down a cloth and left no mess to clean up (aside from what had already backed up in the tub). All in all, a very easy experience and I would use them again (although I would make it a point to call during the week to avoid the $50 weekend/holiday charge.

My sewer had backed up in the basement. After reviewing ratings on Angie's List I called SOS. They sent a technician out the next morning. He was nice but very messy; I had cleaned up the water and sewage best I could except for a few areas where there was still standing water. He walked right through the water and then around the basement. No protective coverings were on his shoes. After cleaning out the drain he didn't wash anything down, so 'debris' (yes, sewage) was left on the floors. I asked for a recommendation for a cleaning company. He didn't have any. His lack of attention to being clean caused me to have a much larger cleaning job, which I did myself. I cleaned and sanitized everything. Less than two weeks later the sewer backed up again. I called and talked to who I assume was the owner and stated I wanted someone else to come out and perform the work; he stated it had to be the same technician but he would talk to him about being more careful. The technician did come back the next day and said he would be more careful. He was, but still did not perform attention to detail; he didn't step in any standing water and did rinse down some of the debris (after I asked him to), but more was still left. I wound up having to clean AGAIN which was a huge job. When I asked if he had a camera he could put down the drain he stated he didn't have that equipment, but some of the other guys did. I'm disappointed it was not anticipated a camera should have been used on the second attempt to clean this drain, and no one contacted me afterwards to make sure the job was completed satisfactorily.

I called SOS when my sewer line started to back up when my clothes washer drained. From past experience I knew that I had roots in the line. I set up an appointment for the very next day. Adam arrived on time, and called ten minutes before arriving to let me know he was on the way. He did a thorough and efficient job of removing a large quantity of roots from the line. He was personable and professional, and did a great job. I would highly recommend SOS (and Adam!) to anyone needing sewer cleaning.

I was able to get an appointment at a convenient time. The technician (Randy) was able to resolve the clogged drain problem quickly. He left the area neat and clean. Minimal fuss--that's what I like.

Marty called first with an eta, then when it got closer to the eta, he called with a more precise time. He was very courteous & professional. He was meticulous with his tools, & he was fastidious in protecting the area from dirt & grime. We were extremely impressed with Marty's work & SOS. We will definitely use them again & refer them out.
