Had a doorknob lock that was preventing the door from being opened without a lot of jiggling. Lockguard came out and fixed the problem simply by taking the lock apart and cleaning/adjusting the existing mechanism. Turned out there was no need to put in a new lock.

They did an excellent job. They came the morning after I called and promptly fixed my lock.

I called and arranged to have Lockguard come out this morning. They showed up promptly at 7 am which was the agreed appointment time. I showed them the new doors and the new door handle for the older door. I asked them to make 15 keys for us. I tested all new keys and they all worked perfectly. They re-keyed one of the new doors to match the other and then installed the new door handle and a new deadbolt on the older door and keyed to match the other doors. All work was very well done and cleanup left things perfect. I am very pleased and would recommend them to anyone. The price for the work was what I expected and was quite fair.

Ben showed up at the exact appointment time, 7:15am. He was courteous and efficient. Ben was very honest about what I needed and what I did not. He did not try to push any purchases on me. It took about 2 hours for him to complete the job, which was about what his guestimate was. Ben was upfront about the price before he started the work. Ben's work was very good quality. Before Ben came out, our garage-to-house door was a mess. The lock was misaligned and did not lock or close properly. After Ben's work, the door now works perfectly. The door locks smoothly and opens and closes properly. Great job all around.

Ben and his brother-in-law (apologies, I forget his name) came out late on a Friday afternoon to rekey my locks. They were very flexible with me on timing even on a summer Friday. Both Ben and his brother-in-law were VERY professional, efficient, and courteous. They asked whether they should remove their shoes before entering my home, which was polite. They quickly and efficiently rekeyed all requested locks (4 deadbolts and 2 passage locks) and also evaluated the security on two sliding glass doors and even referred me to a home security company at my request. They didn't try to sell me on anything unnecessary and the price I paid was exactly what I was quoted (and very competitive with other local locksmiths after doing quite a bit of research). I was fairly impressed with Lockguard and would use them again myself and recommend them to friends/relatives.

Our steel entry door from the garage to the house was locked and we couldn't get it open even with the keys. My husband took the latch handles off, thinking he could fix it, but when he did he discovered that the locking mechanism was jammed into the door and wouldn't move. LockGuard came out expecting to replace the latches with a new one we had purchased. However when Ben got here all he needed to do was replace the dead latch which meant we could take the new set back to the store for a refund. He also loosened up the hydraulic closer which he thought was the cause of the problem. Ben was very personable and thoughtful. He asked if he should remove his shoes and in no time he had the problem resolved with a minimum of time and money.

The receptionist was very helpful and was able to fit me into the schedule within 2 days. Ben was on time, very friendly, and completed the work very quickly. I had additional questions about ways to increase the security of my home and he provided very helpful suggestions without trying to sell me on additional products.

They were very responsive. They came out the same day that I called; in fact they came out within a couple of hours. They were friendly and were able to get the job done quickly. I was pleased at how fast they were able to come out.

Chuck arrived on time, and did a good job. He also gave me some pointers on how I could improve the security of my garage that didn't involve the locks. I'm very happy to now have 4 locks that operate smoothly with a single key.

I called Lockguard and they were able to come the next week to have locks changed. The technician arrived right on time, worked on the two locks and made sure the keys worked in both locks. The person taking the call was very nice and so was the technician.

I called them on Monday or Tuesday, and let them know that I would be off on Thursday. They showed up on time, at 7:30 and installed the new lock. They cleaned up and did a professional job.

Really nice and punctual! Checked out another lock I was having trouble with, and gave me a price if I wanted to have it replaced.

He was very good at telling me that I did not need to replace the locks and just replaced some keys and did the job very well. He was 50% cheaper than using other security firms. Very good communication and very punctual.

Lockguard was very friendly, and great to work with, both on the phone and in person. He was on-time, and called ahead to let me know that he was on his way. Was able to troubleshoot it and fix the problem with parts he had in his truck. Turns out the manufacturer had sent me a part for a double-keyed lock, but I had a single-key lock. The shaft ''wiggled'' out of place, when trying to unlock the deadbolt, causing the deadbolt not to retract fully. There was no way I could've figured that out on my own! Even though it was a Baldwin brand lock, he was able to use Schlage parts, that he had with him to fix the problem. It works very smoothly now, every time. I was very pleased with their service and would definitely use them again.

I spoke to Ben on the phone late afternoon to set up an appointment for the next day. He was polite and friendly. He said he would call me that day when before he would stop by. As promised, I received his call and he was at my door about 15 minutes later. He came in, had the door opened quickly, fixed the lock, and fixed the problem. Ben was great to talk to and had many ideas about how to make the door work in exactly the way we would want it to work (he offered to re-key it to fit other locks or even to disable it if we didn't want it to function as a lock). Overall, he did a great job, was quick, friendly and inexpensive.
