We have used this company for years for both our furnace and air conditioning needs and we have always had knowledgeable and hard-working service technicians. They have installed both our furnace and air conditioner over the years and we continue to go back to them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Paul (Standard & Heating Technician) called me 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me he'd be on time. Paul showed up at my house promptly with a great attitude. Paul listened to my concerns about my 23 year old gas furnace and took appropriate action. Paul diagnosed the issue within 15 minutes, fixed the problem, and took time to explain what he did, so if this happens again, I can fix on my own! After completing the diagnostic, Paul asked if I'd like a tuneup to which I agreed...why not? He's already here. The entire appointment was completed in under an hour, and my furnace is running like it's brand new again! To top my experience off with Standard Heating, I found a $50 off coupon with Angie's List for a tuneup, plus Paul gave me a signed $25 rebate through my energy company! Couldn't be happier!!!! I had even called Standard Heating to verify my coupon went through and Lucy was a sweetheart on the phone! Answered all my questions. I had a great experience with Standard Heating and will be using them going forward!

The organization was very responsive ... schedulers, financing, etc. The installers were FABULOUS ... They completed the install, spoke to me about a charge in the placement of the furnace. They provided clear instructions for maintenance and cleaned up after the install. The sales rep however left us feeling cold. After signing the paperwork she disappeared. We determined a slight misunderstanding in timing was due to the expectation she set.

They were excellent! The whole company was very informative. Lucy the receptionist was helpful & Chris the technician offered to come early due to weather. I also took out maintenance contract for the next year.

We were impressed with the professionalism of Joe, who was the representative who came to give us an estimate. He was very personable and seemed to know what he was talking about. Standard was one of three HVAC companies we interviewed. Although not the lowest estimate, they were close. The reviews on Angies List sealed the deal for us. We were a little disappointed when the installers arrived and did not know where to vent the furnace. Joe had said he would let them know. They figured it out and the installation team was very good. Fast, friendly and professional. Lastly, although I say "we" in this review, my wife was present for the estimate and installation. She was the one who was impressed with how professionally it was handled from start to finish. She has had experiences in the past, as I'm sure many women have, where she was spoken down to or ignored. Not the case here. Thank you Standard.

Technician was very friendly and professional. The coolant was empty, but considering I filled it the year before, he suggested their may be a leak somewhere. Explained the different things that could be done to find it. I ultimately went with the cheapest option, and had him fill the coolant and kept my fingers crossed it would work the rest of the summer, which it did. I found out later, by talking to others, that I paid too much for what they did. They got the job done when I needed it, so no hard feelings about being (possibly) overcharged.

He did a great job - quick, efficient, courteous, on-time

According to our renter who was there, they did everything perfectly. They arrived on time, were very courteous, went right to work, did the install, cleaned up after themselves and then brought the renters down to see it. They couldn't have been more pleased. Their quote was "there wasn't anything they could have done better."

The sales rep Steve came out to give us a quote. We were very clear that we wanted this done ASAP. Based on another review I had read on Angie's List that said they were not good at scheduling the service in a timely manner and they ultimately went with another company that was cheaper and was able to do the job quickly and to not waste your time.I also saw they had 100's of very good ratings as well.The sales rep handled my concern by telling me that people usually only bother to respond if they are dissatisfied and that most of their customers were very happy with them.He also called his office to find out when the first available appointment would be and at that point was a few days out.He also explained that customers with no heat would come first. We signed the contract within 1 business day and the rep stopped by our home to pick it up.He said someone at the office would call us to put us on the schedule. I then went out of town for the rest of the work week. Upon my return 4 days later no one had called. I then called the rep and left him a message after 5 pm on Friday stating that we had not heard from anyone to schedule this. I also sent him an email. He never responded directly to me. Monday morning I got a call from Renee at the office to schedule the install. It was 2 weeks out. I then told her that the rep told me at the time they were only booking a short time out. She said that my contract had just been placed on her desk(meaning someone had not turned it in???)I told her that I had given the contract to the rep almost a whole week earlier and had told him I wanted this done ASAP when we signed the contract.She was able to squeeze me in the next day. She was wonderful and had excellent customer service skills. She saved me as a customer because I was not very happy at the beginning of our conversation. The crew was great.EXCELLENT at explaining everything.They wore booties so they would not track dirt around the house.The electrician was great.Renee at the office was great . Very professional and overall satisfied with the finished job.

Service person arrived during scheduled time frame and called in advance as requested. He was knowledgeable, personable, courteous, and answered all of my questions. This was a routine maintenance call and everything was working as it should be.

Everything went well. The installers were on time and did a great job working around a few challenges with the layout of our basement and new ventilation pipes that had to be installed.

Nice guy, arrived right on time, worked fairly quickly, discussed with me the issue I was having with the humidifier, troubleshoot, clean connections, test, replaced furnace filter. Will use them for all furnace needs in the future.

The serviceman was very nice and helpful. He offered suggestions and showed me things I didn't know about my furnace. I would use them again.

The serviceman was on time, polite and was knowledgeable about what he was doing. We received a checklist of all the items that were included in the furnace check up.

Jeff called to let me know he'd be getting to my house about 30 minutes before he arrived. He arrived promptly and was very friendly. He wore shoe covers in the house and even took time to greet our very excited dog. He quickly got to work and completed the tune-up without any issues. When I asked about a center point energy refund I had read about, he gave me the paperwork I needed and explained how to submit it. I would definitely recommend Standard Heating and Jeff.

Nate came out and checked on our furnace as it did not fire up the first time we tried to use it. However, it worked the first time he fired it up. So he he checked a few things and gave us a few recommendations. Thank you

Our furnace tune-up went great. We have used Standard Heating for a few years and all of the technicians are friendly and professional. Joe S. did our tune-up and was very helpful explaining some potential problems with our furnace. He walked both my husband and myself through the potential issues, explaining it in an easy-to-understand manner.

Very friendly and professional. He explained every thing he did to the furnace. He also checked the carbon monoxide levels on my water heater, which I was not expecting.

It went well. I had purchased the deal on the 26th of October and they were able to send someone out the very next day. I didn't have to wait a month. The guys that came were personable and professional and my dogs liked them which can be a "hairy" situation. I also signed up for a yearly services plan with them because they were good at what they did.

Joe and Jordan came out for a routine furnace tune-up. They were on-time, friendly, professional, and thorough. In addition to the routine tune-up and filter replacement, Joe pointed out evidence that our very old air conditioner has been leaking onto our furnace. He coordinated scheduling of a free consultation on the air conditioner, to happen within 2 weeks of the tune-up.

Jeff the technician was punctual, professional and courteous. He made me aware of their service plan without being pushy.

Very personable and professional. Made suggestions and recommendations of what needs to be serviced in the future. I will try and sell you their membership service packages but it's an option.
