Standard Heating and Air Conditioning has a package that includes pre-winter tune up, mid-winter check and spring tune up on the air conditioner. It is great because I have peace of mind that my equipment is getting maintained and checked, and they are always professional and super friendly. I pay a monthly fee for it instead of paying each time as part of the Smart Club Maintenance Plan, and you get the bonus that if you need maintenance, you get moved to the front of the line. This also includes no service call charge if during regular hours (and discount on emergency service fees). Again, peace of mind. Their technicians that come out are always great!

They replaced a broken part at cost and gave good advice for the future. Very warm technician.

As mentioned above, this began as a routine tune up for 98 dollars, that turned into $265 real quick. This provider installed the AC unit back in 2003 and has been no problem. I think this is a good company.

Joe was beyond understanding, polite, and courteous. My furnace operations 101 instructions were informative for me. He arrived on time. He was very professional and competent. He deserves an A+ for his ability to explain this machine to someone like me who is not mechanical. The furnace was running very well but did need to be tuned- up since it had not been done for over a year. I now have new filters and everything is cleaned up. He took note of all my mechanical info so if something does go wrong and I call, they will have all the info on file. I would absolutely use this company again.

The check up was scheduled in response to a reminder from Standard that it was time for the visit, the 2nd one for the furnace this heating season since we had a check up in Fall also. I was able to schedule at the end of the day, a 4 to 7 p.m. slot so fit my schedule. I could have a Sat. appt. too. The tech called about 10 minutes before 4 and arrived at 4. As usual the tech di the work, answered my Qs, and left the area clean. The price noted above covered the year for the furnace and AC maintenance. We had a repair on the igniter on the Fall visit and received a 10% discount as part of the yearly maintenance package. I consider the price very reasonable and the service is always excellent. We renewed for another year at the end of yesterday's call.

The technician arrived on time and carefully explained everything he would be looking at, including showing me how our air filtration system worked and how I could clean the panels myself.We used Standard in part because of an Angie's List offer, but I found out that several of our friends have used this same company for several years.

Did furnace inspection and maintenance. Changed air filter and humidifier filter. Furnace motor sounded like it had lubrication issues. Jeff called to see if it was still under warranty. It was, and a motor replacement was scheduled. I am very happy with the service and Jeff was great.

Jeff, the technician, called shortly before arrival to let me know he was on his way. He arrived about ten minutes into the three hour arrival window. He was very courteous and was willing to answer and explain any questions. He explained the service plan they offer and gave me the brochure, but did not pressure me to purchase. After the service, which took about 40 minutes, he informed me of the condition of our furnace and that everything looked good. I would definitely use Standard Heating & Air Conditioning again.

Initially contacted for tune up and instructions on how geo thermal furnace that came with house worked. Explained everything clearly. Set up on maintenance plan and scheduled followup to fix one draining issue. Very pleased with service. Professional and knowledgeable.

We had water running on the floor when the gas furnace was turned on for the winter, and since it was the not the drain hoses to the condensor pump, we knew it was time to get a replacement furnace estimate. The previous Bryant furnace was 23 years old, and it didn't make sense to do repairs. Rich Tourand was our salesman who came to the house in early evening at our convenience, and spent a good quantity of time answering our questions and providing two quotes, which included rebate information, their marketing promotion, and Angie's List discount. He was helpful and informative. We would have preferred to have flyers left behind on both furnaces under consideration, but we went online to do more research. We decided on the Bryant 915S 95.5% efficiency, since we will remain in our house long enough to take advantage ot the price differences between lower and high efficiencies. The timing for the work was very good, since we were still experiencing warm temperatures outside and hadn't used the furnace yet, so scheduling happened very quickly. They estimated 5 hours but were in and out in 4 hours, having arrived promptly (actually, early), with three technicians onsite. Our lead was Thomas M, who did the sheetmetal and was last to leave after the final walk-through. All technicians were quick, thorough, and informative. They were careful to place a rug over the stair's carpeted treads and wore booties all the time (it was raining outside, which didn't help). They cleaned up so thoroughly you would not have known they had been there. They will be handling all the rebate and warranty filings, and we like that they have a recycling program in place. We highly recommend them and we will use them again in the future.

Standard performs routine maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner, and they visit three times a year. Jeff performed the checkup toad, and he was courteous, friendly, and professional. I've been using Standard for about 10 years, and they always show up when they say they will and provide great service.

Within the three-hour window promised, Chris called ahead to ask me if he could arrive within 15 minutes. Chris was polite, amenable to my questions, and helpful, showing me the flame sensor and explaining functions of certain parts, and why maintenance is important with such furnaces.

Excellent! Joe Slater was our technician. He had done the previous inspection and Tune Up and provided excellent, personable, professional service and explained hwo and why service was important. This is my second furnace and air conditioner from Standard. I purchased the first 25 years ago in a previous home and was always satisfied. I highly recommend Standard and will continue to specifically request Joe as our technician.

Furnace blower stopped working end of day on a Friday. Terrible timing! Tried to contact my "go to" HVAC people (who installed furnace 14 years ago) but it was after hours for them. Their emergency after hour number went to voice mail. Checked Angie's List and customers are raving about Standard Heating and Air. Called them and got a person on the phone! They scheduled a tech for 10am and he showed up on time. Very friendly, professional and explained to me everything he was doing. Plus the whats and whys he was doing them. I came away with an education. Being the furnace was 14 years old, I thought we may need to buy a new unit. But it turned out to be an inexpensive part. Total time was about 40 minutes and I was glad to write the check for $327. Standard Heating and Air is my new "go to" HVAC company.

It went fine. We've used them before and we have been very happy with them. They had warned me ahead of time that I would be needing an igniter. There was a younger man who was new at it that came by. He could answer my questions but I felt like he wasn't up to date on everything. I didn't have anything against him. He did a good job. As far as we are concerned, he cleaned up after himself. Our interaction with him was very good.

We've been on twice-per-year service contract with Standard on-and-off for about 13 years. The techs have always been courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable, and we will continue our service contract. In the fall of 2015 a Standard technician found some condensate and water leaks in our system that threatened to total out our 15-year old system. We decided to get estimates for replacement and got one from Standard and one from another contractor that was"A" rated by Angie's List. Although both estimators were professional and helpful, Standard's price was better and, because of the price and past excellent service, we decided to stay with Standard. The estimator, techs, and contract electricians all seemed professional, willing to answer questions, and eager to please. A few days after the installation, a technician came promptly to make a minor adjustment.

they arranged a prompt service call for a poorly functioning furnace and the service man stayed until fairly late on thanksgiving eve. he spent over two hours, took care of the problem and made recommendations. we will certainly stay standard heating for all furnace and ac issues.

Informative with out trying to sell me a new one for my old one. Did a good job cleaning it, with helpful tips on how to keep it running longer.

I just moved into my home in November, so wanted to have the furnace inspected before the snow flies. My inspection before purchase noted that no service record was visible on the furnace, so it might never have had any maintenance done by the previous owner(s). As promised, Jeff called about 20-30 minutes prior to arrival to tell me he was on the way. He was very friendly and professional on the phone and in person! He first asked if I had any questions or concerns about my furnace operation, and I was armed with 3 -- 1) examine the humidifier and give me some instruction on its operation and maintenance, 2) examine the air cleaner and give me some instruction on its operation and maintenance, and 3) please help identify and eradicate whatever is making a periodic "thunking" noise when the furnace operates. I told him I could hear the noise coming from the ductwork, and it has woken me up in the early morning hours. Jeff explained the humidifier operation first, and suggested replacement of the water filter. I agreed to that, hence the extra $27 charge on top of the $99 Big Deal price. Jeff then explained that the Honeywell air cleaner's original metal filter system was no longer present/operable -- as is common for similar units installed in the early '80s -- but that the box filter inside still functions as an air filter. He said to check it every few months due to the age of my furnace (2002) and the unknown cleanliness of the ductwork. Jeff tried to do some detective work on the duct noises I'd been hearing, but they remain a mystery. He did note that 2 of the 3 vents in the lower level family room were closed, which affects the air pressure going through other parts of the ductwork. He opened those, and said that might make a difference in the noise and also the evenness of temperature throughout the house (a split-level town home). After the furnace inspection, we did crank the heat up and try to listen for the duct noises. They did occur as usual, but seemed less frequent and a bit quieter than before. I am pleased with that bit of progress, and am hoping that I will eventually tune them out as I get more familiar with the noises in my new home. Jeff did the full furnace inspection in about 20 minutes, and went over all the points with me. He showed me where there had been some old water damage inside the unit, probably due to a previous owner neglecting to do routine maintenance. Because of both the age of the furnace and the lack of maintenance records, he suggested I consider joining Standard Heating's "Smart Club," which provides 2 furnace inspections and an A/C inspection annually, as well as several other perks. I thought this was a worthy investment, so decided to join. I was really happy to hear that the $99 I paid for my Big Deal will go toward the first 5 months of membership payments, so I won't start paying the monthly fee until June. I was very happy with Jeff's work and appreciated his friendly and knowledgeable service! I would be happy to have him as my regular technician.

A cracked heat exchanged was discovered when I had the furnace checked for the winter. I had three companies come out to give quotes and Standard was the company I chose. The sales rep, Richard, took the time to make sure I understood how the systems work and what my options were. I have a 600 square foot house and he really helped me make the correct choice for my house - I felt the other companies I met with were upselling and pushing systems that were really too much for my needs. Standard was able to get the install done quickly so that I could take advantage of a discount that was about to expire, and the actual day of the install went very smoothly - the installers were on time, walked me through the procedure, checked in with me throughout the day, and left the work area immaculate. I am very pleased with the whole experience - although it is tough to spend that much money I feel confident in the choices I made.
