We were very disappointed. I did not get what I bargained for. Even if I was freezing and it was 30 below I would not call them again. You get what you pay for and bait and switch tactics.

Joe Slater was the technician. He was very professional. Explained what he was going to do, answered all my questions, and suggested a few things to me to make my furnace more efficient.

Great. Provider came in the appointed time frame, was thorough, courteous, made a recommendation for a new furnace (current one is 30 years old) but didn't make a hard sell. I would definitely use this provider again.

Their professionalism is great, it really is. They wear those booty covers on their shoes when they come in, they're particular about the clean up and they're really really nice and they're punctual and the guys themselves the uniforms are nice and neat, t shirts and a jeans I mean they were in uniform identifying you know that they're from standard heating and they looked very professional.

Service technician was on time. He was knowledgeable and professional. He tuned our furnace and cleaned our A/C.

The salesman was great. He provided lots of information, a complete estimate and information on warranties and rebates. The installers were prompt, polite and they also were a great source for information. They answered my questions, cleaned up the work area and explained the operation and maintenance of the new furnace. I really could not have asked for a better experience.

Standard was professional and pleasant to work with. However we felt the prices were excessively high. They charged a flat rate for the maintenance AND a flat rate for replacing the relief valve. The maintenance on the boiler was $200 and the relief valve cost an additional $175. Paying the $200 for the maintenance was one thing, but an additional $175, we believe, was too high. It only took him 10 minutes to change the valve and they were already working on the boiler at the time. We understand paying a little more, but $175? The part only cost $17.

Furnace checked out fine. Technician performed complete tests and maintenance.

Jeff arrived on time. Was very pleasant and nice to work with Found the problem in no time. It was funny and decided it had to be the people from Mars that did it. We would call for Jeff again if we have a problem.

It went very well. The technician came in the house with shoe covers on and introduced himself. Very polite. He noticed some things that were not correct and pointed them out to me. Very helpful.

The prices were definitely fair and I'd have them come back again.

Summer at Standard was very helpful and said they didn't do commercial work which is how our building is classified. She gave me a referral to a company that does do commercial work. In order to file this online I was forced to answer "would you hire again?" and there's no N/A so I chose yes. I'd call them again based on their willingness to help even though they couldn't do our job.

As has been the case for several seasons, my appointment was seamless. Convenient appointments were available to me. Chris called prior to arriving. He went straight to work and upon completion gave me a written report as well as talked with me about things to be aware of when I turn on the furnace this fall. He was prompt and courteous, conversational and informative, and considerate of my house in all that he did.

Very thorough. Made a few suggestions for possible service or repairs that might be an issue in the future (i.e. replace a switch on the air conditioner that was showing signs of wear or burn marks). Said that no power was detected coming into furnace humidifier when it was switched on.

Tech found that error message was due to loose wall connection and may have caused other issue of temp inconsistency. An annual cooling and heating system review was also planned and finished on time as scheduled.

We have been long-time customers of Standard Heating and we LOVE them. On the recommendation of a good friend, we signed up for their annual maintenance program, which includes three furnace/AC checkups a year. (it also includes a lot of other benefits such as discounts on repairs, priority servicing, etc.) Jordan was our technician today and as with all of the Standard Heating technicians, he was great. First, they give you a three-hour window when they will arrive and he arrived at the very beginning of the time frame. They bring disposable booties to wear on their shoes (which I love...and wish more service providers would do). Jordan called our house about 15 minutes before he arrived to let us know that he was on his way. We ask for this because we have 2 dogs that we need to corral before a stranger comes over. They provide a very thorough checkup, not just looking at a filter. They check the filter, the CO2 levels, the overall structure of the furnace and more. What I love best is that they don't try to constantly up-sell us. They let us know when something is looking like it may need to be replaced in the future. They also take the time to fully explain what they are doing, what needs to be done, etc. We have used them for repairs as well and the prices are fair (even better with the discount!) and they provide excellent customer service. Its easy to make appointments, they return calls promptly, they are friendly and patient with questions. I have recommended them to people for maintenance and furnace replacements and they are also happy customers. We will never use anyone else for our Heating & AC needs.

I submitted an appointment request online and had a call first thing the next morning. My air conditioner stopped working and they were able to come to my home the same day. The technician called 30 minutes before he arrived, explained exactly what was wrong and the cost to repair, and quickly repaired the issue. He was very professional and friendly and I'd highly recommend Standard Heating and Air conditioning!

Joe Slater was over this morning to make sure our furnace was in good order for the upcoming winter. He walked me through all the different elements of the furnace and what he was checking. Joe was very courteous, friendly, and clearly an expert in his field. We were first introduced to SH&AC when we had to replace our furnace in our old house. Now we are in a new house with a furnace that is reaching the end of its life and I trust SH&AC to have our best interests in mind to maintain our furnace to maximize its life. Joe identified one part that needed to be replaced and clearly explained the purpose of the part and how it keeps our furnace running as efficiently as possible. Joe also installed the Nest thermostat for us. It was not planned, but I have been wanting to upgrade our thermostat since we moved into the house and Joe sold me on the benefits of having SH&AC to install it.

Great! Was able to get someone out right away. Jeff was awesome! Super friendly and informative.

Jeff was very pleasant, not rushed, and completed the work handily. We have been customers of Standard Heating since 1978 and continue to be pleased.

Able to recharge, clean, and assess. Learned we needed upgraded wiring to accomodate the correct amperage for the unit. We subsequently had that done and now our circuit-breaker is not tripping on hot days!

Joe discovered two cracks in the heat exchanger in my furnace. He sat down and explained to me exactly what that means, what the heat exchanger does, and what my options are for moving ahead. Joe was knowledgeable and patient, and I really appreciated him taking the time to walk me through the details and talk about options.

I had my air conditioner replaced about three weeks ago by Standard Heating and Air. It was really hot out and our 18 year old air conditioner wasn't working at all anymore. I was so happy that they were able to schedule a sales consultation so quickly and we were even able to arrange for a Saturday installation. The price was about what I expected it to be and the installers did a great job. The salesperson wasn't high pressure at all, which was a pleasant surprise. We've been very happy with the new unit so far. I've used Standard Heating and Air for an emergency furnace repair last winter and was glad I chose them again.
