Very well. The service was performed professionally, and the technician was courteous and helpful.

Standard Heating does my furnace tune up and they are quite good. They are very good about following up and calling me every year and scheduling with me. The people that come out are very careful to be clean as they come in, put their booties on. They are pleasant and professional. I have a maintenance plan that is $17 a month. They run specials and stuff.

Standard Heating & AC was able to get me an appointment in a very timely fashion and during my desired time range. Paul arrived on time (in fact early). Paul ran the tests on the furnace and didn't see any of the issues reported by Genz Ryan. Paul told me they wouldn't do any repairs or replacements at this time, and told me what signs I'd see if the issue was real or imminent. I appreciated that they could have used this as an opportunity to push unneeded repairs or a furnace replacement, but instead gave me advice on what they'd personally do in the same situation.

Fantastic response and communication from every associate I dealt with starting with the phone operator and extending to the scheduler, Sales (Denise) and installers (Thomas, Mesha, Greg). Denise patiently twice walked me thru my options as well as a discussion of the location of existing vents and ducting and and what was needed to bring my house up to code when replacing a gravity furnace (octopus) with a new forced air furnace and air condtioner. The install took three days (which is normal) and the installers were always cordial and pleasant as they went about their tasks to complete the installation. The installers gave me a brief review twice each day giving an overview of what was done and what was planned for the next day. I started the process with a different company who arranged for removal of the old furnace and gave me a verbal quote on a new system. From then on they were rude or unresponsive to my request for details on what they were trying to sell me and what they would do to my house. Since this other company abandoned me, I chose to work with Standard Heating. I should have started with them in the first place! Everybody at Standard Heating made the stressful start to this event much more bearable. There was numerous calls from them confirming schedules and arrival times for Sale and the installers plus followup calls. This is a company who knows the importance of each and every customer who chooses to do business with them.

The tech. said the coolant was low and filled it for an extra fee. After a few days still noticed a problem and came back no extra charge and found that there was a plush toy down in the unit that was causing some of the problem.

The furnace was replaced per our decision. They arrived on time, calling when they were < 20 min. away. They removed, installed and hooked up (electrical and sheetmetal) working together throughout so there was efficiency. This barely impacted my day. When they were done, I had the owners manuals where I could find them, the room was clean and the furnace working. I didn't realize furnaces didn't last 30-40 years any more, but was glad to do business with this company again. They have always responded to any no-heat issue (rare) promptly, never let me forget a maintenance check, are clean and prompt. Further more, every tech has been personable and knowledgeable. This is one of the few companies I've never been let down by in 17 years.

Very well. We've had a few new technicians in recent years. All have been punctual and professional. Niall was especially fine this time. He pointed out some things about the furnace motor that made me believe he knows what he's talking about. All are respectful of our home and us. They explain well what was done. In the course of our 21 year relationship with Standard I believe they are improving.

It went well. They were really booked out and took awhile to get here, when they arrived they were excellent.

Our technician Jeff identified two separate problems and gave advice on another part replacement that we might want to do now to prevent future issues. Jeff explained what he was doing and why for the diagnostic. He explained our options and their associated costs very clearly, leading us to make the best choice for us, including factoring in the age of our furnace. We chose one of their Smart Club plans for the maintenance of our ~16 year old furnace/AC system.

great. they couldn't help me with our geo thermal system issue, but the tech was upfront about it and didn't waste any time determining what was going on. I got a couple of references that actual helped to fix the issue.

The service was great but the whole operation cost over $500. That seems excessive for the replacement of a small low-tech circuit card.

We were out of coolant due to an internal leak of the system which was "very old." They were able to reload the coolant, but they couldn't guarantee how long it would last without resolving the leak issue. Upon further discussion we finally made the decision the replace the conditioning and heating units in the home which Standard took care of. Their price for replacement was very competitive and their warranties (both parts and labor) are transferable to new owners which was important because we are getting the house ready to sell.

They replaced the furnace, the air conditioner, the dampers in our system as well as the hot water heat. I have used them again.

Very thorough examination of the air conditioner; did a maintenance check on it. The thermostat was replaced with a very simple model. The tech asked me to tell him what I wanted in my thermostat and he listened to what I said and provided a good one for me.

Went really well. Explained what he was going to do, and was very neat.

They came in and did a no-heat call for us. The installed the new furnace in a timely manner, and we have had no problems. It works as well as advertised by them. They came out later to install the AC since the heater was installed during the winter. We had to call them a few times to get clarity on when they would get the AC's spot leveled and the AC installed. Sometimes the customer service seemed unaware of what needed to be done, and we had to inform them of what the tech had told us. So, the communication and coordination could have been better. With that said, the furnace and AC have worked well now for almost 2 years, and the installation process was pretty painless overall. Also, when our toddler put some stuff down one of the furnace pipes, their service was responsive and prompt, and they were clear on what our options were.

I was satisfied in every respect: All persons involved from Joe, the sales rep., to all of the people who installed the new system were very responsive to my various questions; the work was done quickly, on time. I would highly recommend them.

Nathan was fantastic, a true professional in every sense of the word. Scheduled a furnace cleaning along with a check of the the air exchanger and the whole house humidifier. While conducting the furnace cleaning he noted that a rubber hose had been twisted during the installation of the drain pump restricting condensate flow. He attempted to re-position the hose to try and return it to the original shape, however that did not work and replaced the hose at my request. He was unable to verify operation of the humidifier due to the humidity in the house but provided me with instructions on what to check when the humidity levels drops. All around great experience and would definitely hire again.

Nathan did outstanding work and explained everything extremely well. He had a great attitude as well. Highly recommended!!
