Great service and very professional

They were available by phone 24 hours a day. They had someone contact us before they came.

Deacon was on time and very professional. Used shoe covers and cleaned up when finished. He explained what he was doing and asked if I had any questions when finished.

He called before arriving and was here right as he said he would be.

Fine. Attentive, professional, immediately addressed a concern I had after installation.

They seem to be pretty good. They came and did a furnace tune up. We got a yearly contract with them so the service was prepaid. I got no complaints. Price seems competitive, probably cheaper on a contract basis rather than a one time deal. I suppose there's cheaper places but I don't know what their price is. I wasn't here but my wife didn't complain so professionalism must be an "A". We are continuing to use them. We use them because they were on Angie's List. Their work seems to be pretty good. They seem to call and remind us of appointments and stuff.

They are great. They are pretty much the only company we have used since we moved into our house. They came back this summer to complete the work they estimated in March. They are always on time and forthright and honest about the work that can be pushed off or absolutely needs to be done. You can call them and always know they are going to show up. They are very clean and efficient. They have always given us accurate estimates.

We moved to the Twin Cities about 3 1/2 years ago and have used Standard Heating and Air Conditioning for our annual Furnace and A/C tune-ups ever since. Their technicians are always knowledgeable, professional, and personable. They go over and above! I highly recommend this company.

2nd time I've used them. First visit was to assess and possibly repair a humidifier issue. Assessment was incorrect, but Standard Heating and Air corrected issue to my satisfaction. Tried them again for a furnace maintenance check and all went fine. Some issues were explained and a decision made to hold off a bit on repairs.

Tech did a fine job and discussed issues with us.

Disappointed at first - received a phone call that Scott was on his way - waited over an hour so I called him back thinking he was lost. Then I received a call from Standard Heating explaining he was sick - Jeff came out in about an hour and completed our furnace tune-up. He was very professional and did a great job. We were very happy and pleased with his services. A pleasant and friendly person - easy to talk too. Very informative about the work that he did on our furnace.

Service was excellent as always. The technicians are always punctual, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. They explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. I always learn something new each time they come out. Service was part of the maintenance plan I am signed up for. Cost of service was related to a new filter for the humidifier.

There's a reason why Standard Heating & Air Conditioning has received all of these positive reviews and is in Angie's List Hall of Fame for 16+ years. It comes down to the people. Denise is a very capable, friendly, responsive and knowledgeable salesperson. I was particularly impressed when I asked her why a competitor's proposed solution wasn't one of the options she presented and she spoke confidently about how it wouldn't ultimately address our airflow issues. She has a gift for explaining things in a way that a layperson without any HVAC knowledge could understand clearly and I respect that she provides a conservative initial estimate that assumes the work will take longer so there's a better chance that the final estimate would decrease. We appreciate that the process includes a pre-labor check to validate the proposed solution before work begins and making any adjustments to the hours estimates (downward) accordingly, plus there's an iron-clad guarantee the costs won't increase on the day of service no matter what happens. Thomas and Mesha did an exceptional job with the install, providing updates throughout the day and communicating with Denise to ensure customer satisfaction, and they took special care to protect the floors and cleanup after the work was complete. We now have a cooler, more comfortable home with better airflow upstairs and are very happy with the results. We're thoroughly impressed with Standard from start to finish and would happily recommend their services to anyone.

It went very smoothly. They were very thorough from beginning to end. Never tried to up-sell anything. Very pleasant to work with.

We didn't price shop too much, they had exactly what we wanted. They were right in the ballpark with the price. What sold us was their salesperson, very easy to work with. They are very thorough. After they installed it they took measurements to make sure it was working right, then showed me the results. Communication was very good, they called when they said they would.

Standard Heating and Air was professional, easy to work with, and did a great job. They did all of the calculations so that we were ensured the proper sized units. They followed all safety regulations. There was a problem with our install - they installed the fresh air duct directly over some water drainage hoses. In the super cold winter, these drainage hoses froze, which caused water to overflow from our humidifier. When we explained this problem to them, they promptly came to re-direct the air flow, and they also reimbursed us for the water damage. I would highly recommend them.

We have used them many times before. I would grade them A's all the way across. I wasn't here when they installed the unit. I was having other work done and they came and went without my being here.
