The technician, Chad, was knowledgeable and communicated well. He worked quickly and cleaned up after himself. I would recommend Standard Heating.

Standard installed out furnace and central air conditioning 13 years ago, and we have always been satisfied with their service. We called to take advantage of a $95 offer for a checkup. Chad explained what he was testing and checking, the condition of replaceable parts, and the status of the system as a whole. He also answered our questions about whether a smart thermostat would be of value to us and how to redirect heat using dampers. We decided to sign up for Standard's Smart Plan, which will also cover an inspection of our central air. Chad was knowledgeable, helpful, professional and friendly, as are all the Standard technicians we've dealt with over the years.

Every technician involved from the initial check up which found the problem to both technicians who helped fix the problem were incredibly professional. I’ve always found the people who come to my house to be nothing but polite and courteous. They also don’t try to swindle me and get me to buy a new furnace when I don’t need one. Their evaluations have always been very helpful and they are are very good at explaining what they are doing. Even though the first technician who came to my house didn’t quite get the job done right, Seth came out and found out what went wrong and was able to fix it immediately. He was very nice and made sure that if the problem persisted, it would be noted and fixed with no hassle. He explained everything he was doing and even enjoyed playing with our dog a little bit! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for furnace or air conditioning maintenance or repair. They give very honest opinions and are very professional and I would not trust anyone else.

My service person is knowledgeable and articulate. He found a failing capacitor that might have been overlooked in the past. He also spent some time helping me to diagnose another issue. He was on-time, very courteous and helpful.

The technician quickly realized that the humidifier had not been properly connected to the new furnace we had installed two years ago. (Another company did the furnace installation.)

Received a prompt appointment for Monday afternoon even though I called at 5pm on Friday. Technician Jeff called to indicate he was on way and arrived early. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it. He also recommended a couple of other tweaks to avoid future issues, which he performed. I purchased their maintenance program which is very reasonably priced to avoid future problems.

Great! No complaints. Technician was very friendly, and not pushy at all. Helped educate me on the furnace as well as he did his work.

Technician came on time and explained well what he did and things to consider, including our eligibility for compensation in he class action lawsuit settlement with the furnace manufacturer.

I received three bids for a new furnace, and chose Standard because they provided a holistic solution for our home heating needs vs. just a product. Denise did a full walkthrough of our home and recognized a need to do some duct and ventilation work to optimize our heating and make a significant difference vs. just replacing the furnace. This gave me confidence in their work. Standard also took care of the rebates on our behalf, which the other companies did not offer. The only two concerns to share are these: 1) The installation was one week later, whereas the other companies could install within 1-4 days. However, Denise gave us two space heaters and even gave us a useful tip to point the heater into the return for heated air flow; this kept us quite comfortable and warm while we waited. 2) During the testing of the new unit, the motor was giving some error codes, so Mike coordinated with the team to have a new motor delivered and installed an hour later. Although this was a small inconvenience and makes me question the York product quality, I am reassured by Standard's warranty and that the technician said he has only seen this happen one other time before. The Rheem model we replaced was original with our 1985 home and lasted 32 years, and I am confident that we made the right investment for another long haul.

Over the years I've come to trust Standard Heating and Air Conditioning. I like the promptness, courtesy, consistency, reliability, and expertise of the technicians. They take time to answer all of my questions and they make sure I understand the answers. I feel well taken care of!

The service was fantastic. The first furnace technician who came out had me stay and watch as he inspected my furnace to show me what he was doing. He was extremely knowledgeable and I got quite an education on my furnace - more than I've ever gotten from any other inspection by other companies. He was friendly, informative and made a great recommendation to have a second opinion (free of charge) to ensure this old furnace was going to make it thru the winter. I had the second tech come out a few days later and he was also very informative and friendly. There was no pressure by either of them to buy a new furnace immediately, but a gentle suggestion to not wait more than 6 months (it is fairly old after all!). I really appreciated the honest approach they took and the peace of mind i had when they left. I would definitely hire them again. I had originally talked to their company about a $99 inspection price but after looking into their maintenance program, I signed up for it and my price for both visits was just $20. I appreciated that they made the suggestion to sign up, and more so for only charging me $20 for this visit.

We needed a new furnace and air conditioner. Salesperson came out and explained how to properly size HVAC system, zoning, filtration systems, and installation. He was very good on his initial consultation. The only problem was, as things progressed, there was a lack of follow through with some of the items that were discussed once we settled on the system we wanted, there was quite a bit of time where we did not hear when the system was going to be installed. Calls to Standard were friendly, but did not immediately provide information. When the system was ready to be installed, Standard was very good in letting us know when and how long it would take to install the system. When it was done, they went over the installation and explained operation. After installation, we had two minor problems with the system, after a call to service, technicians were sent out almost immediately to correct the issues. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and product from Standard Heating and Air.

Everything went very smoothly--the sales rep was very knowledgeable about the products, was technical. I didn't really shop around on price, but it was about what I expected. The installation went smoothly--they came out ahead of time to assess what would be needed for the zone system. They day of the installation was good--the techs were very professional and cleaned up well. I am a member of their maintenance plan, and intend to remain a customer.

Everything went well. Brian was polite, respectful and shared a lot of good information about furnace maintenance and appropriate filter choices. He was also patient in taking the extra time I needed to thoroughly understand the terms of the company's maintenance program. The $74 Angie's coupon I had purchased represented $25 off the usual cost of the service.

We had some water leaking from the furnace and were recommended here by a neighbor. I was able to get an appointment just a day out, most other places I called were about 2 weeks wait time. Jeff was exactly on time and called ahead to let us know when he'd be there. He was super friendly and walked us through how our furnace works because we are new to being homeowners. The job was very well done. The technician showed up on time and got right to working on inspecting the HVAC system. After he finished his inspection he explained what he did then asked me if I had any questions about the system. Since I am new to taking care of a home, I had questions about the filter replacements. He showed me how to do it and even taught my 10 year old a thing or two about the system! Terrific service and I appreciate the advice too. I would definitely hire again!

Fabulous. The appointment I made by phone was received courteously and promptly and my appointment was scheduled. I received the discount deal though I was a day late (forgot to call). They made me feel welcome as they always have. Jeff, the technician, showed up right on time, calling 20 minutes in advance. He went right to work and let me know how things were. He didn't hit me with any hidden costs or extras and gave advice on how to plan ahead for the future (our furnace is 17 years old). He could have told me it was kaput, but they are honest and have always dealt with us with the utmost integrity. Instead, he told me what to look for and offered a program to keep an eye out. It was not a hard sell, just something to consider. We had forgotten how good Standard is because in the past 4 years when we have let our furnace checkups lapse. We are back with them for good. Nothing but praise for Jeff and the whole standard organization.
