Went very well. Very personable tech and did a thorough job. We actually have a service plan through them. They call you to set up appts. for the furnace and a/c tuneups as the time comes. Very satisfied with this company.

I was having issues with my furnace and Jeff came out to check it out. It turned out that the flame sensor just needed to be cleaned. Jeff cleaned the sensor and did an overall tune up. I ended up joining their Smart Club service plan which saved me a lot of money. Jeff was very friendly and knowledgeable and I was very happy with the service performed.

I made an appointment for a tune up on my furnace (29 years old) and it was evident immediately that it was not safe and needed to be shut down. I have 3 kids and was instantly panicked about having heat in the middle of winter. The service guy who came out called the office right away and arranged for heaters and a sales guy to come that afternoon. He also helped me get my gas fireplace going and stayed to make sure it was safe. Above and beyond the call of duty. The sales guys that came out that afternoon helped me choose the right furnace and the next day it was installed. For the generally not pleasant experience of being told you need a new furnace, I felt taken care of and appreciated the help and level of professionalism.

I called for a repair (error code). Paul called before he came as he was earlier than expected. He explained patiently the issue and then did a check and maintenance. He also answered all other questions i had about new furnaces, old ones, humidifiers, filters... He also wore shoe covers to keep the house clean. Cost is for repair call plus standard maintenance performed.

The technician arrived promptly and was very good at explaining the issue and resolution. He also helped to explain some other parts of my heating system. I would definitely hire them again.

All went perfectly from the initial call up to service completion. I was grateful they were able to help me on Christmas Eve when my heat went out. I only had to wait an hour and a half before they showed up and it only took an hour and a half to replace. The technician made sure he kept booties on to protect flooring and cleaned everything up. He also took the time to explain what the issue was and what was required to fix it. I will definitely use Standard Heating and Air Conditioning again when needed.

Chad did a very thorough job on our furnace tuneup, even given that some of the items he needed to check were difficult to get to on our particular furnace. He even proactively replaced the batteries in our thermostat. He arrived early on in the scheduled time window for our service, worked efficiently, and was very professional and personable. Very happy with the service. We had already paid for their twice-a-year tuneup plan (about $95 per visit), and on this visit also paid to replace the humidifier filter on the furnace ($27).

The installation went very well. The installers were here promptly when they said they would be. They did a very professional job and it was not an easy install because the area they had to work in is quite small. They showed us how to change the air filter, the humidifier pad, and features of our new furnace. They installed a York furnace and AC and we are very pleased with the furnace. Haven't had the chance to use the AC. The salesman came out and measured the house to find the correct size. The company is taking care of the rebate paperwork as well. The electrician who installed the programmable thermostat showed us how to use it. All in all we are very pleased with Standard Heating and Air Conditioning.
