We've used this company for a number of years now and are very happy with their service. Chad cleaned and did a check-up on our A/C. We are on their maintenance program, so no cost for this check-up visit. I asked Chad about balancing the temperatures in the 2nd floor vs the rest of the house, and he gave me a number of tips to try.

Standard performed a challenging warranty replacement of the secondary heat exchanger on my furnace, which basically required dismantling the entire furnace. They did an excellent job of completing this repair. Thanks!

When our air conditioning went out just as warm weather was arriving, I feared that we would be waiting days for service. We had Standard install our furnace and air-conditioning 14 years ago because they had done such a great job in our previous house. This time, we were having our furnace tuned up. We were able to schedule the tuneup right away, so we didn't have to wait forever for it to happen. Johnny was in uniform, so we could tell who he was, and he was neat and on time. He put on the booties over his shoes, without having to be asked, which I appreciate, because his shoes were wet from the snow. He got to work right away in the basement and when he was finished, he came up and told us what he had done and how the various parts of the furnace were doing. (They are doing great.) He was a nice young person and good at his job. He said he'd gone to school for HVAC before Standard hired him. I'm glad to see that Standard is bringing on a new generation of workers. Standard has been in business for a very long time, and a lot of the workers, who are all fabulous, have also been in business for a very long time. I'm glad Standard is bringing new young people on board before all of the older workers retire, so the older ones can train the young ones in.

Wonderful. I called first thing in the morning and spoke to Jessica. Jeff S. arrived shortly afterward. He diagnosed a loose wire in our thermostat. He was very nice, very detailed, and very professional. We discussed a maintenance plan for our furnace because of its age. There was no pressure to sign up.

The technician arrived as scheduled and was very professional. He explained everything he was doing and educated me about the issues he was inspecting and other things to keep my furnace in shape. He had to do quite a bit of disassembly to get into the secondary heat exchanger, but he was obviously very skilled in what he was doing. Our secondary heat exchanger was in great shape, so he reassembled everything and gave me some advice about how to keep it that way.

We have been using standard heating for a few years for regular maintenance and repairs. They are always prompt, professional and pleasant to work with. I would recommend for any heating and cooling needs.

As part of the Smart Club Maintenance Plan, they checked out my furnace, recommended a filter change, and got my humidifier working again. Everything on-site was great. The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was a little discouraged that it had been 14 months since they were last out because I thought they proactively called and scheduled. I guess it's on me. Beyond that though, everything on site went well and I'm pleased to know everything is running great and ready for the year.
