Standard Heating is my go to company for all Heating and AC service.

In the hot and humid peak summer time, my AC does not work well. I searched Angie's List about heating and air conditioning service company and found Standard Heating & Air Conditioning has the most customer reviews and most excellent scores. Even the soonest appointment was three days later, I thought I'd wait for it. Today, Jeff, the technician, came to my house as scheduled. After the first look of his truck and outfits, I knew this is the company I have looking/waiting for. Jeff was polite, patient, and most important very knowledgeable about the cooling/heating system. In a very short time, he diagnosed the problem and gave me the repair options - not like some companies that push customers to buy something might not be the proper fix but with higher prices. After replacing one major electrical part, the unit works well again. And the cost, much lower than I'd thought. Bingo! In the meantime, Jeff also did some tune-up for my system and gave me some basic knowledge about regular and common maintenance. That's a truly excellent service experience and I will definitely recommend this company, or Jeff if possible, to anyone who needs heating/cooling service. Also because of his service, I immediately enrolled their tune-up/maintenance plan for my future use. Good job!

With the degree of heat and humidity we have experienced this summer, a properly functioning air conditioner is incredibly important. We have worked with Standard Heating and Air Conditioning for all of our furnace and air conditioning replacement and service needs since moving to St Paul. We are continually pleased with how personable and knowledgeable the service staff are and with their expertise and workmanship.

The Central Air Conditioner wasn't cooling and Standard Heating and AC diagnosed a bad part which they had previously replaced. They replaced the bad part again under warranty no questions asked. I have nothing but the highest recommendations for them.

Jeff was delightful, personable, professional, and right on time. The new thermostat turned out to be a bit of a problem with wiring (and returning the thermostat would be difficult and time-consuming) ~ but with a few calls and his expertise a solution was found! I have had such good service with Standard Heating and Air.

I recently moved to a new home and contacted Standard (whom I've used in the past) to move my AC to another part of the yard to accommodate a new patio. Due to the age and potential not to work after it was moved, I decided to replace it. New unit is very quiet and works well, and I have a new, nicer programmable thermostat. They moved the unit further away from the house that I originally thought was feasible, so that was a bonus - and no extra charge by the electrician to run a longer line. While it took longer than the sales person originally suggested, the work was all done professionally and they were very good about cleaning up. During the process, they advised that my duct work was not to code, and they corrected what was wrong without any additional charge, including removal of large debris blocking one of the vents and showing me how to better regulate the basement temp. While the particular AC unit I got was more than I hoped to spend (even after the discounts), it seems to be very good. I've used Standard in the past and will continue to be a repeat customer. They are very reliable.

Went great from inatial consolation, they told me I didn’t need a furnace but just the ac, everything from that point went as planned and unit and service we received is beyond our expectations. Two thumbs up for Standard heating keeping the bar high

It went well. Service team was on time, pleasant and gave some advice on how to improve efficiency. We pay a monthly service fee and are reminded when appropriate furnace and air conditioner maintenance is due.

Fantastic! Had to come out on two different days because I had a nice block of ice in my system that needed to melt, but both technicians were professional and friendly, arrived on time, worked efficiently, and my A/C is (thankfully!!) back online. Standard is my go-to from here on out - highly recommend!

Chad was the Tech's name, very pleasant and professional. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and explained everything so I would understand it. Answered all my questions. We have been with Standard Heating for many years and bought our furnace from them. We have had different Tech's come to our home and every single one of them have been very nice and professional. I would recommend Standard Heating & A/C to anyone. From customer service to sales to the tech's they all work with you to make you be happy and satisfied with their work. They have a great maintenance program, $19.29 a month that we have and it is worth it. Once a year they check out your furnace and A/C, send you a reminder to schedule an appt. for them to come out. It is so well worth it. All we had to pay for was the furnace filter.

I always appreciate a courtesy call to let me know when they are arriving. They were very thorough - they cleaned my air conditioner and turned it on and found an issue and were able to fix it on site. Then they installed a new wifi enabled thermostat. They showed me how to use it and kept the page open in the instructions where I needed to complete the online setup. I would for sure recommend Standard Heating to anyone!

It went well. Our A/C broke on the first 90+ day of the year. We have an old A/C and called around to several A/C places. Some of them didn't even want to service our A/C. Found out that Standard actually installed ours! 30 years ago. As you can imagine, there was a big wait time for service with the several days of 90-100+ heat in May 2018, but we asked to get put on the 'move up' list...which is basically standby in case any one cancels. We got a call the same morning asking if we could be there in an hour and a half. Yep. A/C fixed. Very professional and the office staff still took the time to call me back to answer a question despite being knee-deep in work during this busy time.

Called before arriving early. Technician was professional, explained what was being checked, gave recommendations without pressure to make a decision. Did not need additional R22. Total for service call $127.47.

Standard Plumbing and Heating came in to fix what Uptown Plumbing and Heating neglected to fix (yet charged me well over what should have been charged). Explained everything, price was very honest, the service man was extremely professional. I will continue to utilize Standard Plumbing and Heatings service.
