I have loved Standard since they came out to replace my furnace and also assessed that the air flow (in this old house) was not at all optimal. I appreciate their advice and knowledge and they seem to provide appropriate services - including recognizing that a furnace actually should last a long time and not start having any parts wear out for quite a time. The tech patiently went through all my maintenance tasks with me - and was very friendly besides.

Standard did a great job and did the work very quickly. The installation was completed in one day. They were able to start the work within 1 week after I met with them to discuss what I wanted (other shops were estimating 4-6 weeks before they could start. Everything was done exactly as agreed for exactly the price agreed to. The city inspector made a comment that the workmanship on the ducts and PVC exhaust pipes was the best he'd seen. I would hire Standard for any future work and highly recommend them.

Great - responsive staff. They also caught an almost totally failed bloated carburetor in the A/C compressor. Got it fixed on the spot. Joined their annual maintenance plan which seems quite reasonable.

The tech was on time, and called when he was 20 minutes away. He did the cleaning and tune up and replaced just a couple of parts.

Our technician Nick, was thorough and conscious about his work. He was professional in explaining what he had done.

Our furnace wasn't lighting, and they were able to get out same-day and diagnose the problem. The technician diagnosed a faulty valve and got the furnace running again. They didn't have a replacement valve in stock, but were able to order in and get it installed within a couple of days. The technician was courteous and conscientious, and we were very happy with the service!

They were polite and clean. They didn't mind answering any questions that I had. I was satisfied with their work.

I've been using Standard Heating's annual maintenance program. The team does a complete check-up of my A/C and heating systems. Each technician is extremely knowledgeable, answers all my questions and even addressed a mouse nest I had in my A/C unit. They are on-time and professional. I expect when I need a new A/C and furnace I will purchase from Standard Heating.

Although Standard was the highest quote I got, they were the most thorough in their inspection. They also were the best at letting me know what was going to be required, what the costs would be and why it was needed. Though, as I said, they were the highest quote, I felt that there wasn't going to be any surprise costs. They also came out and got the old unit to work long enough for them to get the installation tech out to the house. This was done at a cost, but was taken off as a discount to the price of the new install. The technician showed up on time and got right to work. I was informed by Standard's dispatcher that it would be an all day job to get all items installed, but the entire job was done by mid-afternoon. I would definitely consider using Standard again for any HVAC needs I might have in the future.

The technician arrived promptly, was polite and professional, and swiftly diagnosed the problem (a broken capacitor). He had the replacement part in his truck so he quickly installed it, ran some tests, and restored my A/C (and my sanity... so hot!). The technician patiently explained to this very skeptical consumer how purchasing an annual maintenance plan would provide value to me all year long through preventative maintenance and tune-ups on both my AC and furnace. I did not feel pressured to purchase and I legitimately feel that this maintenance plan is an excellent value so I did end up buying it. I rated "Responsiveness" a B because I was on hold for over 20 minutes trying to get through to schedule my appointment, and once I got through, they were booked out almost a week so I had to wait several days to get my A/C repaired. This was at the peak of our 90 degree weather, though, so I know they were swamped with sweaty people like me begging for rescue! This does not deter me from using this company again because, overall, i am extremely satisfied.

It went really well. We just called this morning and a technician was here by 12:30. Our technician's name was Benton and he was courteous and knowledgeable. He was also very good with my 2 dogs that barked at him each time he came in the house. He presented me with different options which I really appreciated so that I could make the best decision possible.

I appreciate that they don't try to up-sell you on unnecessary services or products. They're are very knowledgable and take their time to make sure they're doing the job thoroughly and correctly. I signed up for their gold or silver service (one of those two) where you pay a fee for the year but get the A/C and furnace tune ups. The fee isn't that big so I almost forgot about the A/C tune up this year. They actually called me to schedule it so I appreciate that, even though I had paid months ago, they still called to make sure I was getting everything I had for paid for. Never had any issues with them and will plan on sticking with them!

Our technician, Nick, called in advance to let us know he was on his way. He showed up in a timely fashion, wore covers on his shoes, acted professionally by explaining what would be completed during the service check. Nick also did a great job answering all of my questions. I will be using this company again!!

Scheduling service was good and received a reminder email before the appointment. My technician, Jeff, was very professional, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. He tuned up the furnace, tuned up the A/C unit, leveled the A/C unit as it was on a slope, and replaced the thumb gum on the siding where the hose goes into the house to prevent critters from getting in. He answered my questions and showed me how to change the furnace filter. Overall great service! :)

This review is coming from an experience from a year ago. I had a tech from Bonfe's come out last year around the same time to inspect my AC. I had water that was leaking from somewhere. I forgot the techs name, but he was a nice guy. In the end, he had 3 options for me. I forgot the details of what the options were, but option 3 was to replace my AC unit and furnace ($15,000). He highly recommended that I go with option 3, because the other 2 options will only help for about a year before I run into the same issue. I declined and went with option 1 which cost me about $500. I think he replaced the blower motor or something like that. I also signed up for the peace of mind plan for $8 a month for a year. I could still see some water leaking, but it was much better than before. Present day, water is leaking again. I decided to try Standard Heating & Air Conditioning. Dave came out on time to work on the issue. After testing, he said my issue was only the drain pipe. It was smaller than what they recommended which was 3/4 inch piping. That water was not draining and was getting clogged. All he did was replaced the drain piping and it only cost me about $125. Dave was amazed that Bonfe's never looked at the drain pipe and suggested a new AC unit and furnace. Lesson learned. Never use Bonfe's again for my heating and cooling. I called to cancel my peace of mind plan as well. Thank you Dave for being honest and upfront with me. I will use Standard Heating & Air Conditioning again.
