Great! Standard employee Eric is actually a tech that is qualified to work on furnaces. Very informative, thorough, explains process, answered all my questions and honest. Doesn't try to up sell services you don't need. Not the cheapest, but if you use a coupon for some other company for a $49 furnace tuneup, beware that you'll get unqualified people doing an inadequate job that try to sell you other stuff.

I have been doing business with Standard Heating for many years & have always been satisfied with any work they have done. Today, Eric was the tech & had Nate along as a trainee, they were on time, polite, & performed the tune-up in a timely fashion. Not unusual. What really stuck out, for me today, was their willingness to take time to answer my many questions & to do so with a smile on their face while keeping eye contact. As a retired teacher, I really appreciate these behaviors/habits.

Fantastic. I had some questions about vents that didn't seem to be open. All was quickly answered. I had a question about the humidifier and learned how to turn on the water and how high to set the humidity. Eric was friendly and knowledgable.

Repairman came out and found that my heat exchangers were cracked. Had to shut my 26-year-old furnace off on the coldest day this year. That same evening representatives came out to go over my options and determine the size of furnace I'd need. They also loaned me space heaters. I went one day without heat and the next day they installed my new energy-efficient furnace. Can't say enough good things about their staff, their level of service and the speed with which they got my home heated again. Communication with the office, their repairman, sales people and installation people was excellent. The entire process could not have gone smoother. We've used their services in the past. Highly recommend them with no reservations whatsoever.

I called 4 companies for bids when I needed to replace my furnace and central a/c. Standard's bid was the lowest, and the excellent sales rep walked me through his reasoning for recommending a smaller size furnace than most of the other bidders. That was 8 years ago, and the Standard sales rep was 100% correct. I don't normally sign up for maintenance contracts, but I do like my furnace to be checked out before each winter, so I opted for the Smart Club, which includes the annual maintenance visit. This year, the crew that came out told me my motor is starting to grind and needs to be replaced. This is 100 percent covered by my 10 years parts and labor warranty. Without the annual inspection, I probably wouldn't have discovered the problem until the furnace was out of warranty. I can't recommend Standard highly enough!

T.J. & Patrick were extremely professional and informative. It's evident they are proud about their work and care about the customer. I will definitely request them again on the next tune-up.

We have an old house, built in 1940, so this was a difficult job, but it was done efficiently and professionally. The technicians, Jon and his Asst. Ryan were very knowledgeable, worked diligently and got the job done well. They were very respectful, careful and answered all of our questions courteously. We would gladly recommend them anytime.

It went very well. The technician was very friendly, took the time to answer all my questions and also explained the work he was doing. Standard Heating did my furnace check-up last year also and I was very impressed with the company. That was the reason I hired them again this year and I was not disappointed. If I should have any issues with my furnace in the future I will call Standard Heating.

They arrived on time, were professional, efficient, and helpful in explaining what they did and what we needed to do in terms of cleaning the air exchanger.

Standard's bid was in the middle price-wise of the three bids I solicited (and they were up front with me when they arrived that they would not be the cheapest). I went with them for two reasons: #1) I had a coworker who spoke highly of the service that she received #2) The rep that was sent for the initial consultation (Phil) was BY FAR the most thorough in taking measurements and asking about my wants/needs for the system. The installation began about a week after I agreed to Standard's terms. The tech arrived on time and jokingly said "this is going to be fun" when he saw my old furnace setup. From start to finish the entire process took about nine hours with 5 people in and out of the house at times (in addition to the furnace and humidifier, they re-worked some of the existing duct work and replaced the existing plenum which had been held together by "duct tape and a dream"). Reworking the plenum resulted in an additional charge to me but there were no other surprises during the installation. They cleaned up after themselves and walked me through the various functions of the furnace after the installation. The finished work is OUTSTANDING. Everything works flawlessly and is much quieter than my old system. The city inspectors that came out to inspect the installation were there for about five minutes and commented that Standard did a great job. Would not hesitate to hire them again for any future heating/cooling needs.

Jason was great to work with. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout my experience with him. In addition to the work he did to keep my furnace working smoothly and efficiently, I appreciated that he called me with an update and within my scheduled appointment window when it became clear that he was running a bit behind. I've had great experiences with Standard Heating as a company and a number of their techs going back to the original installation of my furnace and A/C several years ago, and happily recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service.

Jon performed a very thorough duct cleaning for our 30 vent house. He gave us more information about our set up than all the previous other companies cleaning our ducts. He took his time and did a very high quality job. Mel, the scheduler had us scheduled for January but was able to continue to move ours earlier to our preferred scheduled. Thank you! Our furnace check a month earlier was also done excellently and with lots of professionalism by this company. We will be a repeat customer.

The work went extremely well, late June. After years of schlepping window units in a house with radiators, it was time for central air. We were impressed that the men who would eventually do the work spent well over an hour looking at angles and spaces in the second floor of our 1.5 story tudor-styled house to produce a firm bid which we knew would be expensive since the second floor is already finished space. Thomas and the other installer would brief us at the beginning and the end of each day of this five day project on where they were, what needed to be done, and what to expect. It is amazing where they were able to crawl, the work is neat, the ducts to the first floor are relatively unobtrusive. The heating inspector from Minneapolis commented on how workmanlike Standard's installations typically are. The house stayed as clean as possible, and most importantly, cool this past summer. We use Standard for hot water furnace maintenance.

We’ve had Standard Heating here three times since we moved in Sept. They have been extremely friendly, helpful & professional. Agh did a great job taking care of our furnace repairs and Jon did a spectacular job getting our ducts/dryer vent clean! Will use again & again!

Very well. Very professional personnel removed and replaced furnace. They answered all questions we had. They were punctual and cleaned up after themselves. The whole process went well. Price was reasonable.

Went great.....the tech got me on the smart plan which got the cost down to $180 total for furnace now and A/C to be done this spring. He told me to stay and watch so he could explain everything he did. Very thorough and he cleaned out a part that i never saw anyone clean before because it is hard to remove----it was clogged up with gunk. easy to talk to. I can see why they have so many A+ ratings.

We have used another "large" heating/cooling company for the past few years but realized they were overcharging AND making recommendations that were not accurate. I gave Standard a call and not only were they able to come out the same day, our technician Nick was prompt, friendly AND honest. With a 23yr old furnace we expected something, if not the entire thing, required attention but Nick did a thorough inspection and we were happy to hear our unit is fully functional. He also let us know about their service plan which fits our needs perfectly. I will no longer look for a heating/cooling company because Standard has our business!

First time ducts had been cleaned in 45 years. Needless to say they were filthy! They worked thru lunch to get it all done showing, pictures and videos along the way. The two man crew was professional, courteous and very attentive to detail. A 5-STAR PERFORMANCE in my view.

Very professional. Saved $5 per vent grill by removing them myself. Very little mess was created during the cleaning procedure and they vacuumed the wall and carpeting after they were done. Then showed me how much dust, dirt and debris was actually removed. Friendly persons.
