Description of Work: Purchased a furnace tune up, because it would take a couple of times for my unit to kick in. I told them it just needed the sensors cleaned. They advertised a guaranteed 48 hour appointment window. When I tried to make an appointment for the tune up, they told me that they didn't include the tune up in the 48 hour guarantee. Two weeks was the best they could do. I took a refund, and had Metro do it for less money, 3 hours from the time I called them.

Description of Work: I had them come for a routine furnace inspection. In the process Seth found 3 small gas leaks. One of them could have led to significant problems! He was able to come back the next day and fix the leaks. Boy, am I glad I had the inspection and that Seth was so thorough! The initial inspection was $98 and the fix was $380.

Description of Work: Revised. | |On 6/22/15, Angeleslist order was placed for A/C diagnosis service for $74 paid to Angeslist.com. On 6/30/15 when a crew of STANDARD HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING INC came, asked for credit card numbers, and charged $300 for diagnosis. On 7/14/15, made claimed repair, and charged $450. No receipt was ever received for both services. No idea about what exactly the company did, and why charged so much. The two charges are found from my credit card statement. | |STANDARD HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING INC did fixed the A/C. But I lost confidence about its billing practice. I also lost confidence about the angeleslist role in this type of service.
